- I tried the Norpro brand stainless steel cookie sheets, which are much cheaper but had great reviews, and returned them ASAP. They were flimsy in comparison to this Gourmet Standard cookie sheet. They were also all scraped on the edges...definitely not good quality. These Gourmet Standard sheets are extremely well made and polished-off perfectly. I find that my cookies and confections bake wonderfully, the heating seems to be uniform/even throughout the pan. While I do use parchment paper sometimes, the times that I do not the clean up is very easy using an acrylic scraper (Pampered Chef). I've had items stick worse on my old non-stick sheets. After a year or more of use these Gourmet Standard sheets still look brand new. Very satisfied, will order more from this company in the future.
- I'm not sure how they came up with the 13 lb cookie sheet, but it causes the shipping costs from the non-Amazon supplier to be more than half the cost of the cookie sheet.
- This is a good stainless steel baking sheet; however, the description states, "with cookie sheet," which is misleading. This is only one item - a separate cookie sheet is not included. I decided to keep the sheet because of the hastle to return; although, for the price, recommend buying a set from another source.

- I had one of these cookie sheets and another sheet of a different brand. I bought them both at the same time. The other brand became warped (why, I don't know) and the finish was getting bad. The Calphalon pan is still going strong with just a little sign of wear. That's why I ordered this one. I'm sold.
- This sheet is thick and heavy. We've used it a few times and food does not stick, items brown perfectly, and it cleans easily. I am really pleased with this cookie sheet.
- This baking sheet is wonderful for baking cookies and biscotti. Its larger size makes baking easier.
- This product is difficult to find in the stores, and when it is it's WAY
more expensive than the MSRP on the Calphalon website. Even with the shipping cost this was a good buy!
- I've been burning cookie bottoms for so long in my cheap gas oven that I was hesitant to spend the money to buy these insulated cookie sheets. Turns out to be one of the best kitchen investments I've made. They really do what they claim. With the ventilated second layer it doesn't matter where on the sheet they are, all the cookies have the same uniform browned bottom.

5 comments about Nordic Ware 3-Piece Baker's Quarter Sheet and Cake Pan Combo Pack with Lid.
- I've owned a 9 x 13 cake pan with a metal lid for years, so I decided a new covered pan would be nice to have. Well! Was I surprised! Right away I noticed the difference in size. This pan is at least 3/4 of an inch shorter in length, and the width isn't 9 inches either. I can set it inside my old pan. This reminds me of the canned goods we buy now that are 14-1/2 ounces. They used to be 16 oz. cans. I wasn't aware that a pan could still be labeled as a 9 x 13 when it certainly is NOT that size. That's false advertising in my book.
My old metal lid clamps down on the cake pan I already had. This plastic one does not snap on. It looks as if it would fit more securely, but it doesn't. If you're expecting airtight storage, you won't get it with this lid.
If I had purchased this pan from a local store, I'd be taking it right back because I wanted a nice lid. Oh, yes, there are also bubbles in the plastic that make it less attractive to me.
Also, the description says you can wash the pan in a dishwasher, but the label says to wash in soapy water before use. It doesn't say the product is dishwasher safe. You also have to grease the pan before each use. Because it is an aluminum pan, I would not want to put it in the dishwasher because that will cause discoloration and pitting, so I don't mind handwashing it. I'll have to see how it holds up to occasional use. Somehow I doubt it's half as good as my old one.
- I received these pans as a wedding gift. really liked them initially, especially the lids. two months later, and two of the pans have developed holes in them. not scratches, but actual holes through the wall of the pan. i have no idea how this happened- i can't see how food or dishwashing soap could possibly be so corrosive. obviously this is a major flaw with this product.
- This is a great set. I didn't realize I would also be getting a shallow pan that I could make jelly rolls and HUGE cookies on. Great buy - great product!
- Perfect results when baking and cleans up easier than non-stick. Doesn't darken or warp in the oven.
- In my twenties I bought no less than three non-stick cookie sheets while my Grandmother (an avid baker) was still using her aluminum bakeware from the 40's. I later inherited a few of her aluminum pans and I couldn't believe the difference. My cookies were no longer crispy and brown on the outside and soft in the middle...they were baked evenly. I was also able to scub the sheet and place it in the dishwasher, something you can't do with non-stick varieties. Additionally, there is no danger of having teflon flake into your baked goods. Aluminum is tried and tested and provides professional results. Buy the right cookie sheet and buy it once! I have both the half and quarter sheets by Nordic as well as the 13x9 pan. I'm a devoted fan!

5 comments about Chicago Metallic Professional Nonstick 17.25 by 12.25 Inch Jelly Roll Pan.
- I got a smaller Chicago Metallic jelly roll pan for Christmas and we've used it for just about everything because unlike our other cookie sheets it DOES NOT warp. Since we've ruined our other big cookie sheets by using the non-stick sprays on them I decided to replace them. I tried to find these pans un-coated like my other pan (I really don't trust "non-stick" things anymore) but the price on these was too good to pass up. We got them within a week of ordering them even though I used the free super saver shipping and we decided to test out the non-stick by making cookies. We didn't use parchment, or grease the pans, or anything we just put the chocolate chip pumpkin cookie batter directly on the pans then put them in the oven. Not a thing stuck and all we had to do to clean them was wipe them off. Like the directions say you have to pay attention to the temperature and cook time, and maybe reduce one or both but since they warn you I don't blame them for the handful of over done cookies when the other dozens came out beautifully. Also the non-stick coating seems to be a lot different than the stuff used on older pans... this stuff looks and feels as if it is simply a texture added to the surface of the pan, we slid them around on the metal racks in our oven (when cold and when hot), rotated them, put cold batter on them then put them back in the oven, and generally used them as we would use any of our old cookie sheets and I didn't find a scratch on them when we were done. If I could convince my mom to ditch all of our old pans (pity that is a pipe dream) I would replace every one with a Chicago Metallic pan, both non-stick and regular. I really love their products.
- Great little pan, when cooking for 2. Easy clean up, and just the right size.
- I can't find anything wrong with these (we bought two) and they do exactly what you'd want a quality, durable, non-stick roll pan to do.
They have a good weight and are very sturdy. The non-stick surface is very non-stick and easy to remove baked items and easy to clean (we clean them by hand to help longevity, which is recommended for any non-stick item).
They appear to conduct heat very well and very evenly. You may even want to lower the temp 10 degrees or cut short the baking as they heat up and conduct so well. Pay attention the first couple uses and you'll get a feel for how they compare to previous pans.
So after all that, I have to give it the highest rating just because I couldn't expect anything better.
- This is a very heavy duty aluminum baking sheet. The small size is great if you are baking only a few things or roasting a small chicken. It has been used many many times in my kitchen.
The only slight problem I have with it is that there is a "Chicago Metallic" logo embossed right in the center of the pan that could cause a problem if you were trying to scrape a cookie off of that spot.
- I like that it's not non-stick. Great item, washes up perfectly in the dishwasher.
The smaller size is great for times when I don't want to use the large ones.
I ordered two, and one arrived warped, but I got lazy and did not report it. It still works fine though.
I'd like to order more of these, but in a regular size someday.

- This is just right for our two person family. I have used it for roasted vegetables and also for whole meals. It fits many of my baking recipes adapted for the small family. I love it.
- I like these pans alot. They fit in the dishwasher and clean up great.
Brownies, corn bread, and little french bread pizzas.
I can use 4 at once.

- This pan does what it promises, even for those of us with finicky ovens. Cookies and biscuits no longer come out scorched on the bottom. Instead, tops and bottoms are both a delicious golden brown. This pan won't save you from overbaking, but it will make a real difference if you time the recipe properly.

- This product is wonderful! The thickness of the silicone baking sheet keeps the bottoms of the baked items from getting too dark. I have baked cookies and english muffins and they never stick. It saves me a lot of time and money by not having to clean the pan for every batch or use parchment paper that gets thrown away. The Silicone baking sheet wipes clean easily and can be used over and over again.
I would recommend this product to everyone.
Thanks for a good quality product at a reasonable price.
- It's great, but I realized I can't cover my non stick pan with it and broil because it can't have direct flame. Other than that, it's great.

5 comments about Pyrex Professional Large Flat Cookie Sheet.
- I didn't want to run all over town to buy 3 new large cookies sheets...needed them for holiday baking and was tired of my old warped ones. These are very heavy. The cookie targets are just plain dumb. I have made thousands of cookies in my day and the performance is just so-so. They seemed to brown the cookies to much, so I had to adjust the baking time on all the recipes I used. If you buy them, make sure they will fit in your oven...they fit in mine but since I was less than thrilled with them, I tried to give one to my sister...but didn't fit in her oven. I wish I had just gone shopping and taken a good look at what was available instead of ordering based on reviews and the Pyrex name. The good news is that Amazon sent the order right away and the order came just as expected.
- Great cookie sheet... disregard the review by "J. Claydon, dj masturbeat"... I think maybe he/she just needs a Oven Thermometer or Timer! I have made a few dozen batches of different cookies in the last few weeks and this cookie sheet is great - cookies came out perfect! I love cookies (and cookie dough) so I have tried about 20 different cookie sheets over the past 10 years and the only one that I like better (so far) is my Doughmakers.
- if you read these other reviews, notice that it seems they made rave reviews before using them. the pan is heavy duty, great. it's non-stick woopty-dooh (most cookies are non-stick because of high fat anyhow, and besides, that's what parchment or silpat are for). They have a keen diagram for cookie targetting. These things saved it from a one- (or the impossible no-)star review.
what i can't figure out is that this pan has burned every batch of cookies on the bottoms, or close to it. the "close to it" ones were raw and nasty in the middle.
I've tried different recipes, employing different techniques (balls, cut slices, smashed flat, broken in half and melded with the jagged edges up), different rack levels in the oven, different temps...
they all get burned on the bottom. even crazier is they aren't nicely crispy, or chewy or whatever the recipe is trying to go for.
i never had problems burning the bottoms of cookies before, in cookie pans, or even sheet pans with lips all the way around (which would make more sense). WTF?
i mean, cookies are the one thing i've baked since i was a kid. i don't ever remember terrible results, unless...hell, i'd have to make something up.
i hate this pan. so many cookies that could have been soooo good on some old beat up pan warped in 50 directions, i insisted on torturing and destroying and burning just to prove a point.....
this is the second pyrex product i've reviewed and been unhappy with. (the other a glass measuring cup with a ruberized lid that doesn't fit on properly when taken straight outta the shipping box -- any guesses what a dishwasher will do?) their name is tarnishing for me...
- These are swell cookie sheets, but the paperwork was attached to every sheet (I bought three) by something like super glue! Why? I first soaked them in hot water, then scraped with soap and a firm spatula. It was a 30 minute process start to finish.
- This product performed the way I expected. The only disappointment was seening a huge scratch in the surface after removing it from the shipping box.
