- I got the product quickly, but it came in a big box with lots of unnecessary packing......it wasn't breakable and it was small and thin...TOO MUCH WASTE!!

4 comments about Martha Stewart Collection 6-Piece Multi-Color Melamine Bowl Set.
- When I ordered these bowls they were 19.99 I see they have gone up as of 10/7/08 , even so they are a good investment. The bowls are a good weight ( not your Nana's mixing bowl set ) , the colors are really pretty . They say they are dishwasher safe but I wouldn't , I don't want to damage them. They are also not microwave safe.
I would also not use them for storage they have Melmac in them which is the same toxin causing the babies in China to be come ill , I would over time wonder about long term food storage and leeching of the toxin. That said for mixing they should be fine , its not like your eating the toxin , all plastics etc have toxins in them you just don't eat them.
The only thing I dislike is how much each bowl can hold is not marked on the bowl , it is however on the box. My husband cut it out and we scanned it into the computer for safe keeping.
All in all I think this was a worthy purchase.
- These bowls are perfect and durable. The colors are bright and fun and there is a size for every need!
- These bowls are great. They are very sturdy for mixing things in them and they are pretty enough to set food out in them. They wash easily and I just love them.
- Well Martha and her 2,000 products scores big with me. I like the feel and weight of these bowls, they do not feel like your average department store prep bowls. The colours will work well in most kitchens, even the red is an opportunity to give you a bit of a bang. But I love the muted colours the most,
As I said they have enough weight so you are not afraid of them falling a part on you if you have to whip up some cream, by hand, in them. Also you can throw a fruit or vegetable salad in them and take them to the picnic table.
By the way do not forget to try Martha's small prep bowls. My daughter who is getting into this baking desert on Sunday is delighted with them.

- I bought this to make my own 'cupcake' bath bombs, and it works great! Very realistic looking! Anyone wanting to make cupcake bath bombs will find this kit very handy!
- I am a beginner at cake decorating and was overwhelmed with all the equipment and instructions I found at various craft stores while trying to purchase Wilton products. The Wilton 25 piece basic cake decorating set is perfect for the beginner interested in getting started. The set comes with the needed basic equipment, and is cheaper than if you were to buy all the pieces individually. The instruction book gives helps you to pinpoint mistakes. I found it easy to use despite the fact that I've had no formal instruction or class on decorating.

2 comments about Mrs. Anderson's 108 Ceramic Pie Weights.
- It took me a long time to finally decide to invest in baking weights - and I'm glad I did! It really is so much easier to bake pie crusts!
- I found this product to be overpriced. 108 pie weights are not as many as you would think -- they barely covered a 9" pie dish. Perhaps it was my mistake but I was very disappointed.

5 comments about Mario Batali 5-Piece Measuring Prep Bowl Set.
- I've always wanted to create a list of my favorite things, just like Oprah. If so, these bowls would be on it. Each year, I try to find something great (yet inexpensive) that I love to send my friends. This is what I'm sending this year!
- Product is perfect when you're busy at work and want to grab a serving of nuts out of a larger bag or container, or if you want to measure out the right amount of yogurt quickly and get back to work. They are nice enough looking that you can use them as bowls and eat right out of them, as I do with my yogurt, nut and peanut butter snacks.
- These nesting measuring bowls-- if that's the term-- are rather attractive if you like the color orange. Each bowl can be used for two measurements as follows:
2 cups/1 cup;
1 1/2 cup; 3/4 cup;
1 cup; 1/2 cup;
1/2 cup; 1/4 cup;
1/4 cup; 1/8 cup.
For example, you can measure both 1 Cup and 1/2 cup from the same bowl. There is a line that indicates where 1/2 begins.But why would you need to measure 1/2 cup out of the bigger 1 cup bowl when you have a bowl with a bigger measurement of 1/2 cup? One of the problems is that the numbers are divisible by 2 only. How do you get 1/3 of a cup measured? Additionally how on earth do you level the smaller measurement within the larger one? Try measuring 1/8 of a cup, for example, and see if you can level off whatever you are measuing. I obviously knew there were no handles on these bowls\ when I ordered them, but I like to put the measuring cup into the flour or sugar container and then level with a knife or spatula, something that is rather difficult to do with these.
These bowls will probably stay nested on my kitchen shelf.
- Works great. However, I'd like it if the cups were a little bigger than the intended size and then had a second line inscribed. This would make them quite a bit easier for prep-ing liquids that will sit for a bit until they go in the pot.
- These are great all-purpose measuring cups. Often in cooking (especially baking), you have a recipe that calls for three ingredients to be added at a given step in the process. For example, a cup of milk with a teaspoon of vanilla and a tablespoon of honey. This is an example where these measuring cups excel. You use the 2 cup bowl which has a line inside for the 1 cup mark. Fill the milk to the one cup line, then add the vanilla and honey. You only use one item (less cleaning). Also good when activating yeast for breadmaking.

- This product arrived within the time they predicted and arrived containing exactly what was advertised on the website. I am very pleased.
- I bought this product for my mother for Christmas, as she had taken a recent interest in decorating cakes. While she is still learning how to use all the different pieces correctly, she says she loves it!
- I was given this kit by my husband's aunt (along with numerous other Wilton products), in an effort to start a small cake decorating business. You will probably not need to ever buy additional tips, it has all the simple and basic tips, to the more complex and lesser used ones. All in all, a very useful and great product!
