1 comments about Fox Run Animal Mini Cookie Cutter Set.

  1. I don't like my kids to have too much sugar, but I don't want them to feel deprived either. These mini-cookie cutters are a great way to compromise. They love to help make the little cookies and they love to eat them. The animal shapes appeal to my little ones, too.

  1. This set is very good for adding a little something special to your cupcakes. I used mine to fill halloween cupcakes with "blood". The kids just loved it.

  1. I've been looking for just the right sized donut cutter and this was it. It feels good in my hand, not akward like some cutters and it is easy to clean. This cutter will be in my estate when I die!

5 comments about Mario Batali Dough Separator / Scraper.

  1. I have an old pastry/dough cutter which is metal and it is starting to rust and oxidize which makes me worry about using it. Some of the plastic ones don't cut cleanly and soft doughs stick to them. This one releases the dough and cuts cleanly. Plus I will never have to worry about oxidation again.

  2. This is an excellent product. It separates dough easily and is easy to clean. I'm very glad I bought it.

  3. LOVE this tool, can't be without it. Use it as a bench scraper when chopping for mis en place! Light weight, slightly flexible, angled to help guide the food into a cup or bowl or pan.

  4. Love this product and was thrilled to find it available at Amazon. It's called a dough separator but I use it to scrape veggies off my wooden cutting board. It's become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets.

  5. I actually purchased this item in plastic because it makes wonderful "block" when painting woodwork in my house. I simply place the scraper against the area that I don't want painted and it does the job. I know there are products in the hardware stores for this, but the scraper fits my hand better and works perfectly.

3 comments about Wilton Cake Decorating Basics, DVD.

  1. This DVD is very short, i really thought it will have more techniques using alot more decorating tips.

But what disappointed me the most was that 2 chapters of this DVD did NOT work!! it got stuck, i played it on another DVD player and the same thing happened... (u.u)

  2. Unless you are a professional cake maker, I think this DVD shows all you need to know about cake decorating. The segments are short and easy to understand. All the basics I could think of are covered. It is very user friendly to watch and comes with a nice booklet that summarizes the main points.

  3. I'm definitely a beginner in cake decorating and wondered if a book would be enough to get started. I ended up ordering this DVD anyway and I'm so glad I did. It's very easy to use (each lesson is only a couple of minutes, easy to watch a few at a time) and full of helpful tips that I don't think I would have found in books alone.

4 comments about Kaiser Bakeware Patisserie Fall Cookie Cutter Rings, Set of 9.

  1. I have used these numerous times and love them. My kids can use them with ease. We have used them for Autumn cookies and Halloween cookies. I also have used them to make shapes for sandwiches. I am glad I bought them. The ring is great if you have a problem with losing cookie cutters...that's my family...so far we haven't lost one.

  2. This is a great set of Fall Cookie Cutters. I have the Christmas Cutters from this company as well. I like that there are a multitude of sizes so that two of the cutters can be used to cut shapes out of sandwiches for our 5 year olds lunch box with hardly any waste. I used the cutters to make fun shapes out of slices of cheese and lunch meat as well - making our version of fun snackables - cheaper and much cuter. These cutters work much better then plastic ones and easily cut through sandwiches or cookie dough. I plan to buy more of these sets.

  3. These aren't the highest quality cookie cutters, but at least they don't fold in half when you try to release the cookie dough. The smallest cookie cutter is the moon, and that's still about 2" so the cookies are a decent size. At about 50 cents a cutter - it's totally worth it. Like the other reviewer, I've now attached all of my fall / halloween cookie cutters to a single ring.

  4. What's not to love? Fun Halloween shapes, good size for cookies with kids -- not too big or two small. Easily recognizable shapes. Metal, so they cut well. And they come on a ring, so you can keep the organized! I'm even adding some of my other cutters to this handy ring.

1 comments about Fox Run Farm Animal Cookie Cutter Set.

  1. I just got the farm animal, dino and marine sets. They are too big to me (about two to three times than the animal crakers on the market). The material is also thin. However, I got around $3/set, which is reasonable. I will give them 3 and half stars.
