4 comments about Ateco Food Coloring Kit, 6 colors.
- I've used liquid and paste color in the past and this product seems to be somewhere in between. I had to use quite a bit of the substance to achieve the color I was looking for. In paste colors, you get a dramatic result with just a drop. The Ateco are quite a bit better than the liquid color, and, for the price, it's probably about right.
The bottom line - You get what you pay for. If you want dramatic colors, you can achieve that using a good portion of the bottle. If you want subtle colors, this may be what you're looking for.
- I love that this has the pour feature. NO MESS like the others. With this you have control of the color.
- I'm sick of scads of nasty toothpicks all over my counter when I'm tinting icings; the squeeze-bottle concept is one that is long overdue and exceptionally welcome. The colors are vibrant, do not have an offensive taste, and blend, in my opinion, more smoothly than the Wilton pastes. You'll need to experiment a bit to get hues right at first, but it's well worth it.
- This are so much easier to use than the Wilson paste colors. Colors are vibrant, and do not taint the frosting like some colors can. These are simple to use, and do not make a mess. My only complaint is that I did not find these years ago. This is a must have if you decorate often!

1 comments about Wilton 8-Inch Featherweight Decorating Bag.
- This smaller decorating bag is just right when you don't have too much frosting -- larger bags are harder to hold and control when you get down to the very end but the smaller bag allows you to just mix a small amount of frosting and still have the control while decorating. I think it was also easier to do things like writing with this smaller bag. Dishwasher safe but keep in mind Wilton dyes will stain this bag although color from stains won't transfer. These bags are light weight and have a very nice, soft texture that is pleasant to hold. I find they don't slip in my hand or end up bulging like disposable bags do and they aren't as stiff as using parchment paper. While you can still wash and use disposable bags multiple times, the featherweight bags hold up much better.

- These are so easy to pull out on the spur of the moment and make you look like the polished, professional hostess that frankly I am so not! Just line a basket, tray or plate with a few of these and plob down cheese and crackers, a few slics of meat or cheese and you are a domestic goddess. They don't show grease and moisture stains fast, like the paper doilies, which also remind me of the school cafeteria catering and my grandma....order these to have on hands for the holidays or those constant requests from your child's school to bring in a plate of this or that!

5 comments about Oxo Good Grips Rolling Pin.
- i have severe arthritis and using a rolling pin isn't easy. decided to give this a try not only because the description said it would protect my nuckles, but figured the ball bearings would be helpful. both features are grand, however there are a couple other things that make this "arthritis friendly". first is the weight ~ it takes very little effort to get the perfect round pie crust. secondly, the handles are a good size which makes it easy to hold, even if your fingers can no longer "make a fist". if you need a little extra help due to arthritis, this is a great find!
- Weighted handles so that your knuckles never scrape the the counter - this beauty is the best that I've seen. Dishwasher safe (which makes it better than a wooden pin and worth the extra bucks), hefty and thoughtfully designed.
- I bought one for a friend and my husband who likes to make bread from scratch. He loved it. He said it was better than the one he made himself.
- When we needed a new rolling pin, we looked at all diffrent kinds - wood, marble, non-stick, etc.,. We bought this one, and I've been very pleased. It's long, heavy, non-stick, and neat handles. I do have to flour it when I'm making pie-crusts. because they stick a little. Overall, it's a great rolling pin.
- This is a good, solid rolling pin. Everyone loves a heavy rolling pin, but I find this one to be TOO smooth. Dough sticks to it like crazy, and you'd be better served by getting a simple (and cheaper!) wooden rolling pin that lets you spend more time rolling out dough and things instead of trying to peel off the huge pieces that are sticking to it.

2 comments about Wilton 10-Inch Cake Circle, 12-Pack.
- The material is very sturdy and the surface clean so I trust it to put my cake on.
It looks great on every table decorated for special occasions.
- These are insanely handy. I only wish they sold them in packs of more than 8. I bake a lot for fun, and wind up giving away a lot of cakes. With these, I no longer have to worry about keeping track of plates or trays. Plus they're very handy for making layered cakes.
If you like to bake and wind up giving away or selling cakes regularly, you need these.
EDIT: Huh. I just ordered two 8-packs, and I recieved two dozen. That's a pleasant suprise. I can't guarentee you'll get twelve packs as well, but hey, four free circles per pack. Not a bad deal.
