- I put this item on my wedding registry because I only had one casserole dish. I am not a pro, but this set make me feel like one! I have made lasagnas, deserts and many pies. Cooks very evenly. I use the 2-cup measure practically everyday. I am thinking I should have gotten a set with lids, maybe I will upgrade later but for now plastic wrap or aluminum foil works as well. Cleanup is a breeze too.
- LOVE THIS ITEM. FOR THE LOW PRICE YOU GET ALL OF THESE ITEMS THAT ARE EXPENSIVE WHEN BUYING SEPARATELY. FOOD DOES NOT STICK AND IT'S HEAVY DUTY. IDEAL FOR THE HOUSEHOLD CHEF. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

- Got mine yesterday. box said Made in China. I thought Chicago Metallic was Made in USA...very disappointing to me!
- This set makes making Brulee much easier for me. I have MS and doing the typical waterbath setup is harder and more difficult for me to manage. Otherwise a great brulee is made using set with limitations only by the chef. Can't wait to try more brulee variations.
Thanks, mbmartini
- Well, I took for granted when it says on the box dishwasher safe. The pan had areas of rust and the metal surface changed colors. Still works fine, but wish I had handwashed and immediately dried.
- I love the set - works really well - but I broke a ramekin and Chicago Metallic doesn't offer extra ramekins to fit in the wire rack. They are supposed to be 6-oz ramekins and the closest I could find were 6-oz ramekins from HIC - but those just barely do NOT fit in the set's wire rim - so now my set only makes 3 brulees at a time. If you buy this set - don't break any ramekins because as far as I can tell they are not replaceable.
- I like this product. The only think you really have to concern yourself with when creating creme brulee is the time in the oven. Everything else is pretty much taken care of.
The unit is heavy duty and good quality.

- The glass baking dishes are in great quality have high sides.
Price was great too!
VERY pleased.
They were also packed very good and no problem.
- Wonderful items, nice to be able to buy in a set. Saves money and gave me just the sizes I was looking for.
- I'm delighted with my 3 pc pyrex cakepans. They're the sizes I use all the time and will complete my baking needs. I also use them for casseroles for my family. The price is fantastic. I was prepared to pay this price for a single pan, now I have all three, and including shipping still came to less than $20.
- Was very pleased with the quality of these three baking dishes for the
very reasonable price I paid. The three different sizes offers a wide
variety of recipies that can be baked in them.

5 comments about Anolon Suregrip Bakeware 2-Piece Meat Loaf Pan Set.
- I've only used this product once so far, and I was actually a little surprised by the amount of fat that ended up in the bottom of the outer pan. Even though I was using 80 or 85 percent lean hamburg, there was not even enough fat to cover the bottom of the pan. So, I'm not sure how well this actually works for reducing the fat in the meatloaf. I will say, however, that the pans are very nice quality and cleaned easily. I am sure I will use them a lot, not only for meatloaf but other things.
-
So THIS is how people who make that nice,easy-slicing good-in-sandwiches meatloaf do it. Drains all the grease out and leaves in the flavor of good lean hamburger (no matter what grade you use). Stick with beef, though...not the loaf pan you want for ground turkey or chicken, which has almost no fat content to begin with. The recipe it comes with is really good no matter what kind of meat you use.
- I had one of those cheaper meatloaf pans from one of the catalogs. It worked until it rusted! So I knew the concept worked and that the meatloaf was wonderful, that I could feel good about serving it to my family and know that the fat was reduced. Well I tossed the rusty pan went online and started my search, I found this pan and it was at a department store, or so I thought! When I went there they didn't sell this pan in store but I was able to see the quality of the brand. So I went home and ordered it that day. Well the day it got here I made a meatloaf. What a difference! This pan drained more of the fat, the meatload didn't stick to the pan at all. If you are looking for a meatloaf pan, this is a good and solid pan!
- I bought the meatloaf pan to replace a pan which had cracked and flaking Teflon. I was amazed at the weight and quality of this plan. I use the pan for meatloafs and breads. It's really a joy to use.
- Wow, this really made meat loaf much healthier since the fat drains down and away. The non-stick feature really works! I had dropped some of the glaze on the perimeter of the pan and it baked on and turned black. It cleaned away with ease; in fact, washing the pan was a breeze. The pan set itself is somewhat heavy and feels very durable. I wish I had bought this sooner as my husband loves meat loaf but I haven't made it often due to the fat sitting in the pan. That problem has now been eliminated! I would not hesitate in purchasing this pan. This has been a pleasant experience. I am sure I will be using this pan for years to come. Happy Cooking!

- Great Bakeware set! Really convenient to have lids for everything. I use a lot less aluminum foil and clear wrap so its environmentally friendly. Great for casseroles. The round dishes are great for making side dishes in like pudding or potato salad. Lids are great for potluck's and the leftovers can be put right in the fridge.
- There is only one name in glass bakeware, and that name is Pyrex. This is an excellent all around set, and with the lids included it makes it easy to slap on a cover and pop leftovers into the fridge. Worth the investment.
My only complaint is there isn't a cobalt set like this... what can I say, I like blue.
- I bought this set as a gift because for years I have used Pyrex baking dishes and know they are a dependable product. I love this gift box. It has everything needed to start a kitchen - great for a wedding gift or for a housewarming gift for the person just starting a kitchen.
- What more can you say, its Pyrex. I love this set. I also purchased the storage set and mixing set. Needless to say, all my old plastic junk was put in the trash.
The lids are fantastic. They feel like they will hold up forever unlike some others that are rigid and tend to break at the corners or tabs. I never put the lids in the dishwasher, although they are labeled as top rack safe.
- This is a great set of glass bakeware. Received it yesterday and was amazed at how much there is in the box. It's def 19 pieces.
Everything was intact (no breakage). Quality is great, it's made in the USA, Pyrex glass.. Very happy with the purchase. Def. would do it again. In fact, am thinking of a few folks that might get Pyrex Xmas gifts. :-)

- I agree...I had the same issue. The lids don't lock on, they simply sit on the top. I bought this set because we take leftovers for lunch a lot and needed more containers. These may work for fridge storage...although I'm not sure it will keep food long without an airtight seal. I paid $14 for this set (I see that now they have it priced at $18), but its not even worth the $14.
- 100 pieces for less than $12.00? The price really is too good to be true!
The plastic was of a horrible quality compared to a brand like Rubbermaid or Farberware, but I expected that since they're dirt cheap. What I didn't expect was the fact that the lids didn't actually secure onto the containers and the end result would be food spilling out everywhere. I just printed out my return label, and back to Amazon.com they will go.
Honestly, I'd have been better off going to the supermarket and buying the Ziploc food storage containers.

5 comments about Chefmate® Nonstick 5-pc. Bakeware Set.
- Greetings,
This bakeware is very sturdy and doesn't rust easily. This is a must for those of us who like quality metal bakeware at a reasonable price.
- I really like my set of bakeware. I'm not sure why it got so many negative reviews, but I'm very happy with my set. I've never seen a set of pans that was totally non-stick, and these are as good as any I've bought. I've had mine for a while now and very happy with them. I think I would have paid more at Wal-Mart for the same number of pans.
- I mean, they're definitely holding up better than my LAST bakeware. That's not really saying too much, though. I baked lemon bars and then a cobbler a couple weeks later in the brownie pan and the nonstick coating is already wearing off. I am really disappointed, but I guess I shouldn't expect too much of nonstick bakeware. From now on I'm buying glass.
If you're a college student, or grad student, who'll share these with roommates who can't treat things how they should be treated, buy these. If you're a poor person living by yourself or with a significant other, invest in glass. It'll last much much longer. I'm quite poor, actually, and thought I'd save money buying these. It was definitely a mistake I've learned from.
- My husband bought these for me for Christmas last year because I love to bake and I'd bought some "non-stick" baking sheets from Wal-Mart that were a real disappointment, but according to the reviews of this item, these were supposed to be fabulous.
Not so, I have had them for about 11 months now, I still use them because we're trying to save up money for our first house so I don't want to spend the money to buy MORE baking pans. I end up spraying of non-stick cooking spray on these pans just so I can still use them. After the first 2 or 3 uses, these pans were fine, they didn't distribute heat evenly, so some areas would be burned and others would be under-cooked, but they WERE non-stick. After using them for a few times though, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get ANYTHING off of them!!! "Non-stick"?!! What a JOKE!!! One of the cookie baking sheets I soaked for a day, scrubbed with soap, hot water, AND the scrubby side of a Scotch brand sponge. Nothing came off. Soaked for ANOTHER day, scrubbed, nothing. After the third day, I just gave up and now there is stuff permanently STUCK to these so-called "NON-STICK" pans!
I am VERY unsatisfied with these items and if I could, I'd rate the set at ZERO STARS! THE WORST! Do yourself a favor, invest a little more money in a baking set and avoid the frustration, because you get what you pay for, and these pans are crap!
- These items are not as large as I thought. They are cake pans and just small. I thought they were cookie sheets and pizza pans from the picture.

- This is not some flimsy bakeware set. Each piece has some weight behind it. They are very solid. Non-stick coating seems to withstand scratching from utensil use very well. I like this set so much, I ordered another. This set should not disappoint anyone.
- Very good quality. Will not be able to find a similar product anywhere for under $20.
- The first thing I noticed with this set is that they are heavy-duty and after using a few times I appreciate how easy they are to clean. I have thrown out the old baking sheets and pans and will only use these.
- I love this bakeware, so heavy and will not warp or twist. What a deal, I like Analon way better for all my cookware, better than the other big price brand! I bought a pan with a lid from the "other" brand that starts with "C" and the lid handle got as hot as the pan!! Over $100.00
for a sauce pan and I can't use the lid!!!
Analon is the bomb!
- When we first got the Anolon bakeware set we really liked it. It appeared to be high quality, with a thick non-stick coating, and grips on the ends molded with "Anolon"
However, after a couple of months several pans started to develop a few spots of rust. Now that we've had the pans for 6 months they have large spots of rust everywhere. The rust is not only on the inside, but also on the outside, bottom, sides, and at the place where the metal folds over. Although the non-stick coating appears to be thick, I can't tell if it thins and then the underlying pan rusts, or if it is rusting from the inside out.
I've attached the three rusty photos. 2 showing the rectangular pan (front and back) and 1 showing the cookie pan (back).
