- The pans are well-designed, enough so that after about two years of use, I'm ordering another set to replace the first. Why am I replacing them? They aren't really no-stick anymore. The surface has a brown varnish of baked-on oil that won't wash off, and it sticks like crazy. They've become a pain to wash. It seems this is part of the nonstick experience, the coating never lasts a lifetime.
- We thought we had pretty good pans until we tried these KitchenAid twin packs. Our Christmas baking produced superior results with crisp bottoms and moist centers. Highly recommend!
- Ordered these at the last minute before Christmas. Extraordinary delivery service. I've used these pans several times already and the non-stick surface is great. Everything slides off easily and the browning is to perfection...unlike my other non-stick "cheap" pans. I would recommend these wholeheartedly. Clean-up is very easy - no scrubbing - and they look like new.
- An excellent product and makes it so easy to slide cookies off once they have baked.
- A great idea to slope 1 side. Use for many other things other than cookies. Use to slide a side of salmon off the grill.

- I am doing a baking class and needed pans so i ordered two sets of these pans however they stain easying. i still enjoy wilton pans but this set stains does not come out.
- Not very impressed with this set. Pretty nice, until you use them. I sometimes use the cookie sheet to bake chicken thighs. If the sheet isn't full of thighs, it warps while baking. Sometimes enough to spill chicken juice to the bottom of the oven. I'm probably not supposed to cook chicken thighs on a cookie sheet, but I have always in the past without warping.

1 comments about Batter Pro.
- A previous reviewer wrote about an experience using the Batter Pro for batter, which I must admit, I have never done. Just because battering and deep-frying food is a luxury we very rarely indulge in. Now that I have read of all the problems, maybe I'll try it, just to see!
My husband got me this for a birthday present because I'm an As Seen on TV Junkie (mild case only). I thought it was cute. Tried the bonus slicer it came with the the spatula thingy and gave those away because they're useless. But this gadget is actually not bad for BREADING; again, I have never tried it for batter, despite its name.
Basically, you toss in whatever you want to coat your meat / fish /veggies in, like a mix of flour, corn meal, bread crumbs, etc., then add seasoning. Toss it all evenly to mix it up in the bowl, then put the fish / meat / veggies (pre-moistened) on top of the crumbs. Then, put the red "screen" layer in the middle, and finally, the other bowl right up on top.
Then, shimmy the pieces around in the breading for a bit, and finally, holding the two bowls closed, shake hard and then invert the whole assembly. And as we say en francais - waaaalah! Your pieces are sitting on the "screen" covered flawlessly in an even, lovely coat of breading - hopefully.
The catch is that this doesn't really hold very much. Maybe 2 chicken breasts or 3 thighs at the most. If you overload it, the pieces will touch and then they WON'T be evenly coated.
If you want to do more pieces, though, it's easy.... just take out the first set of pieces and repeat the procedure with the crumbs in the other bowl. Theoretically, you could do this until you ran out of crumbs, though the crumb mixture may get too moist over time.
I was VERY skeptical about this device. I wondered what could be easier than breading food on a plate or in a bag, a la Shake n' Bake. The truth is, though, it does a good job of breading when you don't overload the bowl. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it made the task. It seems to do well at all the crevices that are hard to do on a plate or in a bag... and the breading doesn't get mushy like when you're doing it in a plastic bag, or go everywhere like with a plate.
Cleanup is okay, I guess, though the whole assembly is rather big and unwieldy in a standard dish basin; all it really needs is a little wipe with soapy water. And then you have to find storage space for the whole thing... it does take up a lot of cupboard space for a one-trick gadget, I'm afraid.
One thing: make sure it is completely dry before you put it away. My husband didn't, and because the two bowls nest very tightly, the damp inner bowl got infected with a horrible smell. Luckily, the smell washed right out again, but since then, we are more careful that they are dry before storing.
Again, ironically, I can't comment on the battering ability of the Batter Pro. I may try it, and let you know how it goes later!
However, that other reviewer also said you need three hands to shake and flip the BatterPro while holding it closed, I haven't found this motion particularly hard. I've found it simple enough to hold both bowls together with two hands - one hand on either side, with a gentle firm pressure to keep the bowls together. However, they might tend to come apart more with a watery mixture inside than with crumbs.
So. Buy this only...
- if you do a lot of breading (I do)
- you are perhaps mildly annoyed with your current breading method
- you have a lot of storage space to spare
- you feel like gambling about $16 to give this a try
Thanks for reading! Check out my other reviews!

5 comments about Oneida 5 Piece Non-stick Bakeware Set.
- These pans have functioned fairly well. The pans have good weight, but the cookie sheet still warps slightly and "pops" with heat (goes back to normal after cooling). The non-stick coating is slightly above average and will last quite a while provided you do not use metal utensils and dry the bakeware thoroughly immediately after washing. If you allow it to air dry or use in the dishwasher, the water will annodize the metal and cause rusting and flaking of the coating. Overall, a very decent set.
- I have the larger version of this set which was purchased at BJ's. I love how evenly it bakes, plus nothing has stuck to any of the pans. The only thing that I must do is adjust the baking temperature of any cake or cookie recipe down 25 degrees or else it burns. I think this is due to the fact that these are dark colored pans and absorb more heat. Other than that they are wonderful pans.
- I had the exact same problem with this bakeware. I couldn't get the sticker off. I should have taken them back but I got it off with fingernail polish remover.
- hello,
i am glad i am not the only one out there suffering from the gooey mess that is on our brand new pans! i hope someone comes up with a solution and shares the knowledge. i rated this as a 1 star... if there is a way to get rid of the glue then i might change my star status... i hope oneida calls me back and helps me with a solution...if/when they do call me back i will pass on my info!
- I really like the pans themselves. The glue on the set really is ridiculous. It took me hours with goo gone to remove it.

- I really love Anchor Hocking products and I buy them frequently. This set is great quality at a great price.
Really wish they would list dimensions rather than quarts. The large 5 qt pan is huge and something I highly doubt I would ever use. Might be good for someone who wants to make a giant pan of lasagne or brownies but too big for me.
- Greetings,
This product is quality, heavy duty glassware for the kitchen. As with all glass products it should be handled with care to get the most use out of it. Wonderful!

1 comments about SiliconeZone 4-Piece Silicone Bakeware Gift Set, Blue.
- I really liked the set of silicone bakeware I received for Christmas. Mine do not leave a funny taste, like some have complained, and they are a snap to clean up. Ease of clean up is the sole reason I wanted them. I eventually would like to get rid of all my bakeware that is metal, except cookie sheets.
