  1. This set makes a great gift. It includes everything kids need to make cookies - cutters, mixes, a rolling pin, apron, etc. My daughter loves having her own tools when we work in the kitchen (and so do I)!

  1. I got a set of four of these pans, took the tags off, washed them, and thought they were not deep enough. Om measuring, I found from rim to bottom they were a hair under 3/4 inches. The base of the rim and the removable bottom were about 1/16 of an inch. Bottom line is that the depth of filling to the top of the rim was close to 45/64 of an inch, leaving over 1/4 inch of the 1 inch in claimed height not existing.

  1. I should have looked for this review before purchasing this set so I would have known about the lids. Some people will really be getting only a 4-piece set. It's true, as another reviewer has stated, that the plastic lids are virtually unusable on these two bowls. Now, if you happen to own the wonderful bowls Corningware manufactured in the U.S., you are in luck because the lids will fit those bowls. Fortunately for me, I'm in that category. I am quite disappointed that the bowls are stoneware and have the rough bottoms. My old bowls are not stoneware and have lovely, smooth bottoms, so there are no worries about scratching anything.

  2. I just bought this set of CorningWare and to our dissapointment, the plastic covers were too small for both of the dishes. With a lot of effort - we were able to get one of the lids to fit, but there is no hope with the other one. It's unfortunate, because I thought the lids would come in handy for storing leftovers. Aside from the problem with the plastic lids - Corningware has continued to provide good quality dishware.

  3. I love this stuff! I have had many sets of this corningware and I keep getting more. It comes in such a variety of sizes so I can always find the perfect one that I need. It can go in the microwave and the oven. And nothing I cook ever sticks to the inside of it when I clean it! I highly recommend this for your kitchen needs!

  1. I am physically disabled, and scraping and cleaning pans in a pain in the rumpus roast. While I felt this item was more gimmick than fact, I thought it'd be OK for heating an occasional item, so I bought these. Was *I* wrong. When cooking my premade items, not TV Dinners, frozen prepared Chicken Cordon Blu, etc they have more flavor, cook more evenly, and clean much easier. Also the cupcake/muffin tins make great mini j-ello- molds.

I gave my brother's professional chef partner some for his birthday and he loves them.

  2. At first I was skeptical about these silicon bakeware items, but they work great. Remember to let cakes cool in the pans before you turn them out or you risk tearing the cake. They do not need any spray on the pans before use! I'm giving away my old pans!
