- Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 14-Inch Lasagna Pan 7117-14
I gave this pan to my daughter-in-law as a gift. When visiting them this weekend, I was treated to a delicious lasagna baked in her new pan. She commented how much she liked the high sides, the comfortable, convenient handles, and the beautiful presentation it made. It was easy to clean too. We saw it in a local kitchen store selling for more than I paid on Amazon.com. I would definitely buy another one for myself or as a gift.
- This pan was defective so I returned it, thank you Amazon for paying the postage. The first time I used the pan I oiled it, but noticed that my piece of paper towel turned black. I washed the pan again, oiled it again, more black. I discovered that the lengthwise seam along the raised section of the bottom of the pan was open - I could catch it with my fingernail, and the black was coming from this seam. Later I stopped by Macy's and looked at the same pan and discovered the same open seam. It looks like Cuisinart is selling a defective item on a large scale.
- Fantastic addition to my Cuisinart Chef's Classic Collection! Worth every penny! Even cooking, great clean up.
- Love the extra high sides. Most lasagne pans are too low to make a real lasagne.
- I had no idea how much difference the slightly higher sides of this pan would make. It works great and cleanup is pretty easy even after having used it to reheat.

5 comments about Le Creuset Stoneware Rectangular Dish.
- This is my 3rd piece of LeCreuset Porcelain and I am very impressed with the outcome of everything I have made in them so far...this pan in particular is great for cobblers and brownies and pretty enough to bring from the oven to the table...Great Price too Amazon...thanks!
- I've used my square stoneware pan maybe 10 times and didn't have any problems. But today my dish just cracked right down the middle while in the oven at 400 degrees, just like the other 1-star reviewer experienced. I did not see this coming. I'm disappointed, but at least I found it at TJ Maxx for $12.
- I loved it so much I had to add my first customer photo. Like all Le Creuset this dish is heavy, easy to clean, and beautiful!
- Their cast iron ware is fine but not their stoneware. Like the other reviewer mine cracked down the middle on 350 degrees in the oven the second time I used it. It really bummed me out to have spent so much time and money on that dish to have the bakeware crack an ruin my dinner party. I have two other large pieces in my cabinet collecting dust as I refuse to use them and go through that again.
Save your money and stick to higher end stoneware or go for the reasonable priced corning ware. In 40 years it has always performed well.
- I absolutely love this Dish. What I find the most appealing, besides the fact that it looks really nice, is that it is incredibly easy to clean. The food and stains will come right off with almost no effort. I definitely recommend it.

- The roaster is great! HUGE! Perfect for a clambake. The product arrived very promptly (two days) and no problems with the order.
- I bought this big roaster/lid combo for dyeing yarn on my stove. I can use both parts for dyeing, both have handles, both can go on the stovetop across two burners. The price was right for what I needed.
You could make a huge lasagna or cook an enormous roast in this roaster. Since I use mine for dyeing i won't be cooking in it, but I am sure it would do a great job on a big meal.
- The product arrived very quickly. I gave it to my mother for her birthday and she loved it. Her old one sprang a leak after 25+ years.
Thanks,
hvacrtech
- Wow, pan is so deep and large even our largest turkey would fit! Great finish for easy cleanup. This pan will be used over and over again during the holidays and during canning season. A family keeper for sure.
- This is exactly what I hoped it would be when I ordered it. It's large enough to hold the biggest turkey I'll ever buy! I also received it in record time.

3 comments about Le Creuset Stoneware Covered Heart Ramekin, Pink.
- I bought 2 of these and I am so happy that I did. They are such a lovely shade of pink and they're much bigger than I anticipated. The cover is so cute too and will make it very fun and festive when I serve dessert to my sweetie. Of course the quality is outstanding. I can't say enough good things about this product. Buy it...you'll be so pleased!
- I just received 2 of the Le Creuset pink ramekins today and they are beautiful! Perfect pink color! I plan on using them for parties, along with the Le Creuset pink platters that I purchased recently. Very good quality.
- This heart ramekin is precious and serves it's purpose quite nicely!! Cooks a single serving of dinner or dessert and can also hold countless items in the kitchen or bathroom... toothpicks, cotton swabs, cotton balls, etc. My only gripe is that I should've bought 3 more to go along with this one!! :) Le Creuset rocks!!

3 comments about Reco International Vegetable Baker.
- The first one I received has some cracked parts, but Amazon replaced it quickly. The second one was in good condition and I've used it several times now.
- I have several stoneware baking dishes, however all of them are too large for making a meal for two, so I was looking for a smaller unit. The Reco International Vegetable Baker is PERFECT. It fits exactly into my toaster oven, and with 10 minutes' preparation and 50 minutes in the oven, a most delectable meal for two, including grains and veggies, is ready for our enjoyment. The baker is easy to clean and to handle, and I am delighted.
- I had been used to cooking with clay pots many years ago. But, after several moves, my pots had become pot shards. I have many food allergies and have my own large personal garden to help me avoid the contaminants normally found in non-organics and I love fresh veggies, raw or baked. So, in keeping with my resolution to start eating better and healthier without sacrificing quality of taste, I decided to replenish my clay pots and I had this brand of pot in the past and was well satisfied then. I bought the veggie pot and the chicken roaster. The veggie pot was used the night I received it and what a joy it was to taste the meal prepared in it. Onion, potatoe, broccoli, turnip, carrots, green beans, fresh sweet red pepper slices, mushrooms and whole bulbs of garlic mixed with a little olive oil, thyme, rosemary and fresh sage, salt and pepper at 425 for 35 minutes. Yummy---add some steamed brown rice to the meal, not in the pot, and you are in for a nutritious and delicious meal with taste that will make the clay pot a standard vessel for your cooking. The chicken pot was used a day or two later for friends who raved about the taste. Clay is the only way to go as far as I'm concerned.

5 comments about Reco Romertopf 6-1/2-Quart Clay Baker.
- This is a fragile item, and is poorly packed for ordinary shipping. The result is the item arrived with the top broken into many pieces. To Amazon's credit, they made returning the item and requesting a replacement very easy, although the whole process is time consuming and inconvenient. Other Rometopf bakers I use work well for their purpose and are very easy to use. I do highly recommend the product and shopping with Amazon!
- I love this product as I previously owned a smaller version and plan on purchasing future sizes. I just enjoy cooking so I can't really say enough good things about it.
- What a awesome product and it promotes a healthy lifestyle. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants great tasting meat no matter how good a cook you are or how bad a cut of meat!
- I purchased the Romertopf 6 1/2 Quart Clay Baker to replace a smaller clay baker that I have had for years. Baking in clay pots is my absolute favorite way to cook roasts and chicken and this larger size allows me to cook plenty of vegetables and meat to feed by family of five at family dinners (and have leftovers). The flavors are outstanding and I highly recommend this method of cooking to anyone who hasn't tried it. You soak the clay pot, fill it up, and place it in a cold oven and turn up the temp -- then you do nothing until it is done -- it is the most tender, juicy meat you will ever eat.
The pot is exactly what I expected it would be, although my old one was glazed inside and this one is not. I have used it several times already and that has not been a problem.
I like it so much I am purchasing the same pot in a smaller size so I can cook dinners for two.
- this thing barely fits in my oven so it can make a big big stew. i have loved my 4 quart schlemmertopf clay pot but sometimes it's a little small for what i wnt to cook. when i saw the romertopf 6 1/2 quart i had to have it. try this: 2pound roast, 1-2 inches of water, salt, pepper, garlic, basil. cook in oven at 350 for 1 hour. add two large russet potatos cubed, 1 pound carrots, one large red onion, one large bunch of celery, all chopped, and one 16 oz. jar of a good marinara sauce (h.e.b.'s 2 dollar version is great). add water to about 1 inch from top of pot. cook for another 2 hours at 350. you don't even have to check it. this is stew like mom used to make!!!!

5 comments about Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron 2-Quart Heart Casserole, Red.
- I love Le Creuset products, and the Heart Pot, didn't let me down.
I have my own, and this was for a gift!!!!!!
LOVE IT!!!
- I purchased this for my niece's wedding, and I have not given it to her yet. I have not seen the item myslef since I had it shipped to my mother's house, but I know from seeing them in the stores that it is a high quality product. My niece alread knows she is receiving it, and is very excited! Terri Schmitt
- Arrived in fine condition. Haven't used this particular piece yet, but love this manufacturer's products. Everyone should own at least one piece of Le Creuset. Wish they weren't so pricey though. Peace. ~~~mary
- Small, but makes a delightful presentation on your table. The heart says "Made With Love" and sure brings a smile to everyone's face.
I don't have to tell you how convenient it is to go from heat source to the table, and the clean-up, forget about it....so EASY!
A little pricey, but will give life long service.
But the real story here is Customer Service...the first pan had to be returned because enamel was missing on the lid. Amazon was AMAZING...they gave immediate attention to my complaint...had UPS pick it up the next day and a new one was sent in a couple of days...absolutely terrific service. Thanks so much AMAZON!!
- This is an awesome casserole oven. It has the exceptional quality we've come to expect from Le Creuset, but with a lot of whimsy. The color and shape are pure fun, and it makes a fantastic wedding or anniversary gift!

5 comments about CorningWare French White 15-Ounce Oval Dish.
- corningware as stoneware and Pyrex as glass are the best bakewares for baking breads, cakes, muffins, etc.,
I bought this 15 oz. size instead of ordering 4 piece 4-oz. ramekins.
So the size is OK for me.
I used to bake with aluminum foil in gas stove; however we had to move and our new place has electric stove. Unfortunately, aluminum foil does not bake good in electric stoves.
So I switched to stoneware and glass recently and corningware is my favorite!
- The oval dish was as I expected but one of the covers doesn't fit. The other cover fits both dishes but is difficult to use even when I preheated it under hot water to stretch it out.
- I like the product. I am disappointed that it is no longer made in North America.
- I ordered this because it says: "Glass and plastic lids make cooking, serving, and storing easy and convenient". Glas and plastic lids - sure shounds like there are more than one lid there. Lids - plural. Silly me, it only came with one plastic lid. I contacted coustomer service and they were getting ready to send another one just like it. I finally got them to check to see how many lids and what kind of lids were included. I wish someone would proof read the ads.
It's a nice little dish with ONE PLASTIC LID and NO GLASS LID.
- This dish is OK, but has a couple of issues:
- Cannot emphasize this enough: THINK ABOUT HOW SMALL 15 OUNCES REALLY IS!
It's not much. Even a can of prepared soup is 16 ounces. This is an individual serving size dish. I know they give you the dimensions...but they should call it a "single serving" dish or something, just to be clearer. If in doubt, get out a ruler and look at how small 7 x 5 inches is.
- The lid could be a lot better:
It would be nice if it was clear, or had a vent. As it is now, you have to position it carefully in the microwave so the dish does not "seal" while cooking (which will ruin it).
Also, the lid kind of "dips down" into the dish - it should be the opposite - "domed" - so you can fit a bit more food in. The concave shape means that if you fill the dish to the top, some will squeeze out when you seal it. Thus making it...well, more like a 14-ounce dish! :-)
- That being said, if all you want is a teeny dish to heat up a little bit of something for yourself, the quality is good and it will do the job.

5 comments about CorningWare French White 23-Ounce Oval Dish.
- I was not sent the correct size, but I refuse to waste my time running to the post office to return it.
- I was a little surprised/disapointed with the dish dimentions. I can promise you the dish is NOT two inches deep (more like 1 1/2 inches. Also like the larger (2 1/2 qt), french white dish I ordered at the same time the bottom of the dish is unglazed, and very rough (and will scratch up your counters).
- I have been looking for months upon years for cooking/baking dishes that are this size so that I can use my toaster oven instead of our regular oven which has been broken for years and I can only use our regular oven occassionally. We have attempted to have our regular oven fixed but all we got from the GE repair service was replacement of the thermostat with no other fix done.
There is no fix or replacement parts or repair persons able to fix our oven apparently BUT there is a solution our toaster oven and these types of dishes that fit a toaster oven and clean up more easily and better than metal pie tins or metal baking dishes.
This is a great dish for small leftovers or single servings that can go from the frig to the toaster oven or traditional oven and then to the table.
- my wife complained my times about not having the right dish when preparing meals for our grandchildren and other uses. i bought several of these oval dishes and now my wife thinks i am pretty smart.
- For the price, you can't beat the quality and size of this dish. I'd like several more.
