1 comments about Le Creuset Stoneware Petite Artichoke Casserole, Green.
- I love these petite casseroles, I have a set of four. They are perfect for baking individual entrees or desserts for people or just decorations on the table. I have also used them to serve condiments and as individual soup tureens.
I doubt you'll be disappointed especially for the price. Enjoy!

2 comments about CorningWare French White 1-1/2-Quart Oval Dish.
- We have used this French White Oval Dish, as a casserole dish, about twice per month for about five years, and we are very happy with it. It is just right for one of our favorite entrees (see below), it's easy to clean, it fits just right in our microwave, and there is a nice lid, available as an accessory (CorningWare French White 1-1/2-Quart Oval Glass Cover). The dish is white, with ribbed sides.
And now, as a bonus feature for this review, you get a recipe, for which this dish is just right.
This recipe came in the how-to book that accompanied our first microwave oven. We still have this meal, about twice per month, two new microwaves (20+ years later).
1. Take four to six chicken drumsticks (or comparable amount of chicken thighs or breasts), skin them, remove all noticeable fat, add salt, pepper, paprika (for taste and color), and parsley flakes, and lay it in a microwavable casserole dish. Chili powder, or other spices, could certainly be added, or substituted for the salt, pepper, and/or paprika, according to your likes and dislikes.
2. Pour lemon juice (like ReaLemon) into casserole, until chicken is just submerged.
3. Cover and microwave (Medium, or 80% on our current 1100-Watt microwave), for 25 minutes.
We usually have it with mashed or boiled potatoes, and cooked carrots, green beans, or waxed beans. The juice from the casserole dish, can be used as a sauce or gravy for the potatoes and/or vegetables, or discarded (it will contain some of the residual fat from the chicken). It's fast, it's not complicated, it doesn't heat up the house (good in Summer), it's low in fat, and it's quite tasty. The recipe can be used for turkey breast also.
- A very convenient functional piece to have in the kitchen.

3 comments about Le Creuset Square Baker with Bonus 2-pc., Caribbean.
- This product is beautiful and practical. You can go from the oven to the table with it.
- After seeing a poor review for this product from someone who hadn't purchased it, I felt the need to add a review. I have this product in Caribbean. It is a wonderful weight, heavy enough to conduct heat well, and is great for casseroles and lasagna. The surface is very easy to clean, much easier than any other casserole dish I have owned. As an added bonus, the color is absolutely gorgeous!
- I don't have this item yet and I may buy it. It looks perfect for Barilla precooked lasagna but it's really just glorified corning ware.Yet the free bonus makes it very tempting.

2 comments about Pfaltzgraff Winterberry Rectangular Baker.
- I have owned Pfaltzgraff stoneware in several patterns and must say that Winterberry is my very favorite. This is the perfect dinnerware for all occasions during the Winter season. I recently added this rectangular baker to my collection and am very pleased with it. One of the wonderful things about the stoneware is that you can bake and serve in the same dish. This is a tremendous advantage during busy holidays. Although this baker is somewhat smaller than a Pyrex baker it still has a multitude of uses both for everyday casseroles and bring-a-dish sides that you may want to share. The Winterberry pattern is crisp and beautiful on the white background. Since Pfaltzgraff has moved their manufacturing of stoneware to China, in the past years the early Chinese pieces were quite sub-quality to the previously USA made ones. No so, now. Although there is a slight difference in the white background glaze, the USA items being somewhat creamier and the Chinese pieces being a bit more grayish, at a glance it is difficult to notice. The green around the edge of all the Winterberry pieces is also a deeper shade in the Chinese pieces than the lighter, slightly more teal shade on the USA pieces and this piece is no exception. All in all I am very happy with this baker and it is a nice addition to my collection. However, if you have older USA manufactured Winterberry pieces and want to add this baker, you should be aware that it is made in China and color variations are noticable on close examination.
Happy Holidays to everyone!

- This dish, while very pretty, is not as big as I thought it would be. I thought it would be the same size as a standard Pyrex oblong baking dish, and it's quite a bit smaller. I'm going to keep it, but it will not be as useful as I'd hoped.

5 comments about Black Covered 22" Rectangular Roasting Pan.
- The roaster is great! HUGE! Perfect for a clambake. The product arrived very promptly (two days) and no problems with the order.
- I bought this big roaster/lid combo for dyeing yarn on my stove. I can use both parts for dyeing, both have handles, both can go on the stovetop across two burners. The price was right for what I needed.
You could make a huge lasagna or cook an enormous roast in this roaster. Since I use mine for dyeing i won't be cooking in it, but I am sure it would do a great job on a big meal.
- The product arrived very quickly. I gave it to my mother for her birthday and she loved it. Her old one sprang a leak after 25+ years.
Thanks,
hvacrtech
- Wow, pan is so deep and large even our largest turkey would fit! Great finish for easy cleanup. This pan will be used over and over again during the holidays and during canning season. A family keeper for sure.
- This is exactly what I hoped it would be when I ordered it. It's large enough to hold the biggest turkey I'll ever buy! I also received it in record time.

3 comments about Le Creuset Stoneware Covered Heart Ramekin, Pink.
- I bought 2 of these and I am so happy that I did. They are such a lovely shade of pink and they're much bigger than I anticipated. The cover is so cute too and will make it very fun and festive when I serve dessert to my sweetie. Of course the quality is outstanding. I can't say enough good things about this product. Buy it...you'll be so pleased!
- I just received 2 of the Le Creuset pink ramekins today and they are beautiful! Perfect pink color! I plan on using them for parties, along with the Le Creuset pink platters that I purchased recently. Very good quality.
- This heart ramekin is precious and serves it's purpose quite nicely!! Cooks a single serving of dinner or dessert and can also hold countless items in the kitchen or bathroom... toothpicks, cotton swabs, cotton balls, etc. My only gripe is that I should've bought 3 more to go along with this one!! :) Le Creuset rocks!!

5 comments about Reco Romertopf 6-1/2-Quart Clay Baker.
- This is a fragile item, and is poorly packed for ordinary shipping. The result is the item arrived with the top broken into many pieces. To Amazon's credit, they made returning the item and requesting a replacement very easy, although the whole process is time consuming and inconvenient. Other Rometopf bakers I use work well for their purpose and are very easy to use. I do highly recommend the product and shopping with Amazon!
- I love this product as I previously owned a smaller version and plan on purchasing future sizes. I just enjoy cooking so I can't really say enough good things about it.
- What a awesome product and it promotes a healthy lifestyle. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants great tasting meat no matter how good a cook you are or how bad a cut of meat!
- I purchased the Romertopf 6 1/2 Quart Clay Baker to replace a smaller clay baker that I have had for years. Baking in clay pots is my absolute favorite way to cook roasts and chicken and this larger size allows me to cook plenty of vegetables and meat to feed by family of five at family dinners (and have leftovers). The flavors are outstanding and I highly recommend this method of cooking to anyone who hasn't tried it. You soak the clay pot, fill it up, and place it in a cold oven and turn up the temp -- then you do nothing until it is done -- it is the most tender, juicy meat you will ever eat.
The pot is exactly what I expected it would be, although my old one was glazed inside and this one is not. I have used it several times already and that has not been a problem.
I like it so much I am purchasing the same pot in a smaller size so I can cook dinners for two.
- this thing barely fits in my oven so it can make a big big stew. i have loved my 4 quart schlemmertopf clay pot but sometimes it's a little small for what i wnt to cook. when i saw the romertopf 6 1/2 quart i had to have it. try this: 2pound roast, 1-2 inches of water, salt, pepper, garlic, basil. cook in oven at 350 for 1 hour. add two large russet potatos cubed, 1 pound carrots, one large red onion, one large bunch of celery, all chopped, and one 16 oz. jar of a good marinara sauce (h.e.b.'s 2 dollar version is great). add water to about 1 inch from top of pot. cook for another 2 hours at 350. you don't even have to check it. this is stew like mom used to make!!!!

3 comments about Pyrex Bakeware Sculptured 2-Quart Casserole Dish, Clear with and Blue Plastic Lid.
- Everything you could want from a glass dish: nice size, oven-proof and microwaveable, pretty-looking, and with a tight plastic seal that stays in place very well. A keeper!
- Well what can I say about a Pyrex dish? The sculptured design is not fancy, but these dishes are so practical. There are three main reasons why I love Pyrex:
1) Cooks evenly;
2) Easy to clean - even baked on "crud" can come off with a soap pad.
3) Doesn't pick up smells like aluminum pans (my wife used to use those because we hated cleaning pans).
An additional bonus is the rubber/plastic storage cover - very handy for the fridge.
You can't go wrong with this item. Pyrex items are warrantied 100% for a year. My dish developed a chip, which was not related to dropping it. I can still use it, and I was mailed a replacement at no charge.
- I own many pyrex pieces and this is one of many. This is a piece that you will use for many times. I've baked macaroni and cheese to cobbler in the oven, made salads, store vegetables, mashed potatoes to various desserts to store in refrigerator as well as freezing spaghetti sauce in the freezer. You can use it in the microwave as well. Dishwasher safe. I love that it comes with a glass cover. Doesn't hold stains or odors. A beautiful sculpture design that is very attractive. A definite piece to add in any home. I got this as a wedding gift 29 years ago and still looks new. Highly recommend this piece.

3 comments about CorningWare French White 1-1/2-Quart Round Glass Cover.
- exactly what it says it is, came as planned. My corelle french white is 25 years old and still going strong, but the lids do break and fatigue after a while so I was glad to find a replacement. Would like to be able to buy more sizes of lids and the plastic covers as well, especially for the smaller pieces.
- I ordered this cover to replace the one that broke. It's just like the original and exactly what I expected.
- do NOT buy this item to use in the microwave!!! the lid rim splintered and left shards ranging from 1/4 inch to two inches of length in the food (I have not even had it a month yet); I was replacing old lids which lasted MUCH longer -- the original product carton specifies a 2 year warranty on the lids

2 comments about CorningWare French White 16-Ounce Round Dish.
- Using this product is the way to go. I think storing, baking or heating in this product is best for your health. It doesn't blister like plastic products do and it seals as well as any other product on the market. I use these in my lunch pack all the time. I gave these, in different sizes, as Christmas presents. I recommend them all to everyone.
Thanks Corning!
- This handy individual sized casserole is just perfect for the microwave, oven, or storing food in the fridge. I also reccommend the Corning Wear French White 15 oz ovals as well. I use both types when I make a big batch of lazana and place the rest in an individual casseroles. Then, I have my lunch ready for the next day to heat up! Note that this is not the original pyrocream --instead this is made of stoneware. This stoneware works ONLY in a microwave or regular oven. It does not work on the COOKTOP of a stove. Also note that the newer Corning Ware is of stoneware. The reason that I scored this a 4 and not a 5 is because it is not the original procream and it does not work on the cooktop. You will see more in the excellent BLOG if you look for this in Google called: "What happened to Corning Ware?" This is a real eye opener and I learned much reading this wonderful discussion!
