3 comments about Nigella Lawson Cookie Cutters A-Z/0-9 Shapes.

  1. I found the letters to be way to small. The numbers were a great size....however, the only reason I purchased this set was to get the letters. The storage tin is nice for storing them in though. Overall...If I had to buy again, I would just go to Michaels and buy their mini alphabet set over this. They look exactly the same.

  2. As noted in the other review, these cookie cutters are on the small size, but their distinctive and stylish packaging more than makes up for it. While getting them all back if their container was a bit of a feat, they are well worth the low price. Aesthetically pleasing, these one-of-a-kind cutters are an amazing addition to any kitchen, and offer a practical and varied solution available to you in one click rather than extensive searching.

Please note: These cutters are neither to be put in the dishwasher, nor [presumably] hand-washed either; they are marked "wipe-clean" only, so to prevent rusting (as noted in the first review) I suggest you follow this advice...

  3. First of all, the package is really cute, but the letters are way too small. I think they are about an inch and a half tall. They also rusted after I washed and air dried them. The rusting was worse in the dishwasher. I used this set twice and had to throw pieces out each time. The numbers were much bigger and thus easier to clean and dry by hand. I would not buy these again.

  1. A simply gorgoeus quiche/casserole dish that is so beautiful it makes a macaroni and cheese look "gourmet"! Also, it shipped so fast I could barely believe it! A+++ in every way!

5 comments about Fiesta 495 70-Ounce Casserole with Lid.

  1. There isn't a lot of ovenware that can go right to the table and be pretty. This is one of those rare pieces. The lid fits rather well on some other Fiesta bowls as well and we've also used it to cover plates (that then go into the over, microwave or fridge). The bowl also works well for fruit, popcorn, soup....

  2. I can't rate this Casserole yet because it arrived broken. It was a gift sent directly to that person. She said she will have to pack it up and return it for another.

  3. Love the casserole. Great to be able to buy discontinued colors. Arrived on time and well packed. Mar

  4. This was a wedding gift for a friend. I just heard that she got it and thinks it's lovely. It must have arrived intact and in plenty of time and I'm Quite satisfied.

  5. This was one of our wedding presents purchased off of the registry, and we are so glad we picked this! It's a good size for a small family and it performs well in the stove or microwave, looks great on the table, fits well into the refrigerator, and when it's all over, you can stick it in the dishwasher. That coupled with its price makes this piece something every Fiesta lover should have. It's heavy enough to feel "quality" but it's not ridiculously heavy or cumbersome. We received this dish in Tangerine, a fun and lively color.

5 comments about Sango Nova 13-Inch Lasagna Baker.

  1. I guess I should have known when it happened the first time, but I bought the dish a second time and it broke in two again. Caused to have a fire in the stove, because of the oil that dripped on the heating unit. So be careful. I will NOT buy it again. I'm really pissed, because I have the other dishes and I like how it looks.

  2. I LOVED this dish! The color is so beautiful. Unfortunately, it cracked down the middle. I thought this was my oven, but from another review, maybe it really is the dish. :[

  3. We got this dish for our wedding a year and a half ago to match the rest of our Sango set - which hasn't held up as well as I would hope. Tonight I was baking chicken drumsticks in the oven, and about halfway through the 45-minute baking cycle, I heard a quiet cracking sound. When I went to pull the dish out of the oven later, I discovered it had cracked clean down the middle and was split in two pieces.

  4. I have owned this baker, as well as almost every piece of Blue Nova dishes, for more than 3 1/2 years. I've never had a problem and have used all of the pieces extensively. My lasagna baker has been used quite frequently for everything from roasting potatoes to baking brownies and it's never cracked or broken. I love the set! I wish it were able to be used stovetop but you can't have everything, I suppose!

  5. I made lasagne, put it in the oven at 350 degrees and the dish completely cracked in half.

  1. is classy in onyx. The finish is glossy not matte. You could easily roast a ham or a small chicken in this. I love the lid with the handle on top, very easy to open and move lid elsewhere. I replaced some of my older corningware stoneware with these to set a very appealing table. The price is always right when shopping Amazon !

5 comments about Le Creuset Buffet Casserole.

  1. THIS IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE KITCHEN PAN.
~It is used for so many meals, from cooking eggs, sauces, roasting pan for meats, cooking down greens, heating tortillas, etc. We use it almost daily, as it seems to be the perfect size for most of our meals.
~I have used it for just over one year and it still look awesome. It cleans super easy.
~It is a bit heavy, so if you have a far amount of weakness in your hands or arms, you may not appreciate it as much.
~Heats excellently on my induction stove top.
~Guests have said they really love the kiwi color.

  2. Love my Le Creuset cookware I have ten cast iorn pieces. Was a little disappointed with this one though. First it was shown with the usual black handle on the lid but came in silver so it doesn't match the others. Secondly it does not have an enamaled interior. Could have saved a lot of money and bought the same from Lodge.

  3. I wanted some "mid range" size enameled cast iron pots that would be a manageable weight and size and be OK when cooking for 2 with left over's, or occasionally 4-6 persons.
The 4 ¼ Qt Le Creuset Soup Pot and the 3 ½ Qt Le Creuset Casserole are perfect. I'm planning to purchase a 7 1/4 Qt Le Creuset French Oven in addition. It's a similar weight and diameter to the Casserole, but (unlike the 5 1/2 Qt French oven) is significantly larger than the 4 1/4 Qt Soup Pot, so I feel it is a worthwhile addition for the 20% of things that don't fit the other 2 Pots.
I'm glad I chose the Cobalt Blue, -it adds some color to the kitchen but not too much. It will go well with a bit of red as well.
The things I like about the large flat Casserole pot is that it is 3 ½ Qt, but the lid is 2 ½ Qt so overall it holds 6 Qt, for things like lamb or chicken roasts.
And it's good for everything except soup. The 4 1/4 Soup Pot on the other hand is ideal for soup (no surprise there) since with it's bath tub shape, small soup batches fill up the side walls rapidly. It can be used for everything else as well, but it's not quite so convenient for dishes which are flat by nature like Salmon. The 4 1/4 Qt Soup Pot with lid is about 5 Qt and has almost an inch more headroom inside than the casserole for things like chicken or roasts.
When you receive your order I recommend checking each piece thoroughly inside and out before removing any labels, and then returning any defective ones to Amazon shipping paid, -if you purchase from someone else this may not be free though. I think the Amazon prices are reasonable especially if you don't live near a Le Creuset outlet store, and if you can get close to 50% of list including shipping with an overall purchase of items, I think you are doing OK. Also keep in mind that the 101 year
owner warranty is all very fine, but you have to print the ownership paperwork on archival quality paper to be readable.

  4. As seems the case with some other reviewers, this was my first piece of Le Creuset. It's wonderful for braising and easy to maintain. It has all of the benefits of uncoated cast iron, with an easy-to-clean enamel coating. While heavy, it is not unwieldy. It was my favorite piece (until the next piece, of course).

  5. I just received my Le Creuset Casserole a few weeks ago and LOVE it! I was a little 'on the fence' about the size before I bought it, but I've found that it's the perfect size. I've used it as intended (making a casserole), but I've also been able to use it in place of my skillet. The pan is nice and wide, and I've been able to brown 6 chicken breasts in it. The lid is nice and heavy, with a tight fit. I cooked and simmered a meat dish in it tonight and it made everything very tender and moist. This is a very adaptable piece of cookware. I think I will end up cooking most of my meals in this pan.

As most Le Creuset pieces, clean up has been a breeze. I just let it cool, soak in in a little water, and it wipes clean. Very easy!

As I said before, I am very happy I went with the 3.5 qt. size instead of the larger 5 qt. I usually cook about 4-6 servings at a time and have found that this works great for us. I would only suggest the 5 qt size if you are cooking for 8+ on a regular basis.
