- I found this somewhat large pan to be sturdy but relatively light and easy to handle. It also cleans up easily.
- This skillet is exactly what I was looking for. It is light weight, with a great finish and the handle stays cool. I can't say enough good things about it. So glad I got it!!

5 comments about Anolon Advanced 18-by-10-Inch Double Burner Griddle.
- I purchased this griddle based on a review in Cooks Illustrated. I previously had a vintage cast iron griddle that had hot spots and cold spots. The Anolon griddle is great - very even heat in every part of the griddle. All my pancakes are cooked evenly, no more rotating pancakes from the cold spots to the hot spots.
- We have a gas cooktop and this griddle is the best we have ever had. The heat is evenly distributed with no "hot" spots like an electric griddle. Bacon, pancakes are cooked perfectly. I bought a second one for larger crowds it worked so well. Easy to clean and the handles do not get hot.
- Product did what it is it supposed to do. I read reviews on this product from America's Test Kitchen and I had been looking for a griddle pan to make pancakes. The pan worked very well and my pancakes came out better than anything I have ever used in the past. It even worked out well on an electric burner (old oven) since the heat distribution is as good as the reviews said it was. I would highly recommend this product and the price was very good.
- I agree with the reviewers who detailed how lightweight, nonstick, and evenly heated this griddle is, but I have had a different experience than those who found it warped. I set it on several surfaces in my kitchen, and it laid perfectly flat every time. Perhaps there was a bad batch, or Anolon has corrected the problem.
Anyway, another reason I love this griddle is for how quickly it heats. With it I need a lower heat setting than with my heavy Anolon skillet, and my pancakes cook significantly faster (I actually burned the first 2). I can whip out a stack in about 1/3 the time I did before, which makes me more likely to do more complicated recipes (like yogurt and banana pancakes-mmm) or add bacon and eggs to a meal.
Add all this to the fact that I paid 1/2 the price on Amazon than what I found it for in a department store (and got free 2 day shipping with Prime), and I could not be happier with my purchase.
- All of the analon advanced products are wonderful; easy to clean, sear well, etc. They are rated well. The griddle has a drip corner to pour off liquid.

- This is not some flimsy bakeware set. Each piece has some weight behind it. They are very solid. Non-stick coating seems to withstand scratching from utensil use very well. I like this set so much, I ordered another. This set should not disappoint anyone.
- Very good quality. Will not be able to find a similar product anywhere for under $20.
- The first thing I noticed with this set is that they are heavy-duty and after using a few times I appreciate how easy they are to clean. I have thrown out the old baking sheets and pans and will only use these.
- I love this bakeware, so heavy and will not warp or twist. What a deal, I like Analon way better for all my cookware, better than the other big price brand! I bought a pan with a lid from the "other" brand that starts with "C" and the lid handle got as hot as the pan!! Over $100.00
for a sauce pan and I can't use the lid!!!
Analon is the bomb!
- When we first got the Anolon bakeware set we really liked it. It appeared to be high quality, with a thick non-stick coating, and grips on the ends molded with "Anolon"
However, after a couple of months several pans started to develop a few spots of rust. Now that we've had the pans for 6 months they have large spots of rust everywhere. The rust is not only on the inside, but also on the outside, bottom, sides, and at the place where the metal folds over. Although the non-stick coating appears to be thick, I can't tell if it thins and then the underlying pan rusts, or if it is rusting from the inside out.
I've attached the three rusty photos. 2 showing the rectangular pan (front and back) and 1 showing the cookie pan (back).

- These Analon Pots are the greatest things ever made. I totally love them. It took me only 60 years to find the perfect pots
- I use this pot daily .............like the rest of Anolon products this is pure quality.
If you need a pot like this Just buy it.
- I use this saucepan all the time. Works great for oatmeal and sauces as well. Very easy to clean and food does not stick to it.
- This is a great little pan at a great price. The pour spouts are extremely handy for soups, sauces, and gravies, and the size is great for cooking for one or two.
It's heavy gauge and hard anodized on the outside. It has a quality nonstick surface on the inside. It heats up fast. The commercial style durable handle gets warm but doesn't overheat when cooking.
And it really is cute!

5 comments about Anolon Titanium Non Stick Dishwasher Safe 8-Inch Open French Skillet.
- I have a set of anolon Titanium pans and love them because they cook well and are easy to clean.
- A very good addition to the home supply of pans and skillets. There is a nice heft to the pan, it heats evenly (though, like most relatively heavy pans, it takes a while to get up to full temperature), and the cooking surface is non-stick, but without the ultra-slippery "plastic" feel that some non-stick pans have. Add to that the fact that it can go in the dishwasher, and it makes for a very good pan.
- I like the fact that I can put this in dishwasher.
I've had this for about 6 months. It started to have grease built up on the side (inside and outside) that I can't wash off easily. Don't want to use metal scrub to clean it becasue i don't want to ruin the non stick layer.
- pros:
1) Heavy,well built.
2) Excellent non stick coating.
3) Looks like it will last for years.
4) Dishwasher safe (with restrictions).
cons:
1) The handle becomes too hot. After few minusts of frying an egg you can touch only the last 5 cm.
2) Not very stable. tend to lean to the direction of the handle (on my gas stove).
- This is a great pan to cook with as it holds heat well and food does not stick and is my everyday pan for breakfast. The titanium exterior looks good but is easily nicked. The interior scratches much easier than my other Anolon non-stick pans which I have used for years. The scratches have not affected pan performance.

- I used the Anolon braiser as soon as I received it and I found that it is an excellent cookware. The high quality of the pan and cover and the non-stick surface are indeed superb, and the price is...the best you can find anywhere. Keep posting high quality products at attractive prices and you can be sure they will be a sales success.
- Looks good enough to keep on your range. Great non-stick surface - just don't overheat it! After I overheated and scratch my previous Anolon Everyday Pan over the course of several years, I bought another one to replace it!
- I got this pan on the deal of the day specials.. I wish I'd bought two. I saw these pans in the Herberger's Store for almost $200.. I wish I had gotten one for myself!!
- i only used it 2 times. but i can already feel how nice it is. did not take too much time to wash. absolutely do not stick.
- My needs are simple...when holidays gather family members together, I want cookware that's easy to clean, holds quantities sufficient for 8, and has cool handles that I can pick up after the stove top cooking is done. And, cooks food evenly without burning or other disasters. Christmas provided that workout and it passed with flying colors. Especially the clean up... nonstick meant just that... and cool handles. The pan evened out the heat from my electric stove top and let me cook without worries. I haven't tried using it inside the oven yet, but expect that to do as well, less the cool handle part of course.

- This griddle pan is great. Plenty of room for two grilled cheeses at once. I have also cooked bacon on it. The non-stick surface is awesome and clean up is so easy because nothing sticks!
- Nice quality feel and performs extremely well -- even heat distribution and amazing non-stick surface. Even my mother raves about this griddle!
- I love this pan, it comes in so handy for a bunch of different uses. The even heating from center to edge is amazingly consistent...browning everything the same no matter where it's placed. Also a great "one pan" breakfast pan...eggs, sausage, hash browns...all in same pan...You have to get this beauty, it will serve you well.

5 comments about Anolon Advanced 12-Inch Open French Skillet.
- I don't like non-stick. It's not as versatile as good 3-ply stainless steel and it doesn't last anywhere near as long. That said, I do like egg dishes and in the summer I like dishes w/ a lighter mouth-feel (not as much oil). So I set out for the best non-stick pan.
I got a 12-inch pan because I've had 10 inch and 8 inch pans in the past and they get crowded very easily. Secondly, I wanted a pan w/ a riveted handle and a decent high temp oven performance. Also, I believe the true mark of a nonstick pan is the 'flip' performance-- so, NO HELPER HANDLE IS THE WAY TO GO! That's just my opinion. I eventually narrowed by search to 3 brands: Caphalon, All Clad, and Analon. Caphalon because they had some interesting non-stick options, All Clad because it's just the best, and Analon because I currently use their stainless set and for the last 2 years I've been very happy.
So All Clad was knocked out of contention quickly for the simple reason that ALL NON-STICK PANS DEGRADE over time. And from what I've read, their best non-stick pan will loose it's luster in about 2 years. That's not to say that I think the pan would be completely crap after 2 years-- just that i think the degradation curve would start to accelerate into the replacement zone. So why pay $130-190 for a pan over two years when you could use 2 average non-stick pans at the same price over two years and have more 'quality' non-stick time to boot?
With All Clad out of the way I turned my attention to Caphalon. I still didn't want a 'cheap' pan though... just not ridiculously over-priced one (although I would love to replace my analon ss set w/ an all-clad one in about 5 more years-- saving those pennies...). Caphalon has 'professional', 'commercial', 'contemporary', and 'one' series pans. Professional pan reviews peg it as a loser. 'One' series pans are just a bad idea all around... why would anyone want a pan that's permanently sorta-non-stick-but-not-really? 'Contemporary' pissed me off (yes I was actually offended) with it's strange 'bulge flare' near the rim-- you really have to see it to understand what I'm talking about. So I considered the commercial series.
Anolon was my last consideration. I looked at their titanium series in the past, but ultimately went with the SS set (glad I did). I was very concerned about the silicon handles. Mainly because it's a limiter to broiling temps, but I gotta say I've been pleasantly surprised. They do add a very good handling feel to the cookware and the silicon hasn't discoloured or peeled or scraped off anywhere. I totally expected the silicon to wear out and it hasn't. Also, their metal ply is just as even and weighted as the all clad stuff. Same thickness, very similar shape, and from the durability I've experienced I'd be surprised if all-clad is really all that much better... but from the looks of it I would have to comment on that about 7 years into ownership. So I was definitely going to consider Anolon.
Went to the store, felt the surface of the commercial caphalon and it was ROUGH. I know it's commercial and they say you can use metal utensils, but something is just counter-intuitive about a 'rough' non-stick surface. It was priced at $50. Then I checked the Anolon Advanced pan. Nice and smooth. Also it had the same handle as my Anolon SS set and the capholon had one of those slightly loose, thick silicon handle... uhhh... condoms. Also the packaging on the commercial pan is sparse-- consisting of a strip of cardboard w/ logo and writing and the sides of the pan exposed to the elements. When they ship them they're stacked on top of each other and the Anodized aluminum bottom from one pan constantly rubs the top rim of the pan below. I couldn't find a single pan out of the 8 on the racks, that didn't have scuffing around the rim from distributor shipping. Needless to say the Caphalon Commercial pan was OUT and the individually completely boxed, wrapped in plastic, suspended in a cardboard brace Anolon Advance pan won the day.
I was very curios about this Dupont Autograph 2 thing. Aparently the Non-stick is on the inside of the pan and seamlessly wraps over the edge and all the way down the outside until the very bottom of the pan where the Anodized Aluminum bottom makes contact w/ the burner. I don't know if it actually does anything functional, but it's VERY easy to clean. I guess maybe it keeps food from 'catching' around the rim when stirring vigorously or 'flipping' veggies in a sauté. So far the non-stick surface is PERFECT. About 20 seconds of soap, sponge, and hot water is all that is need to clean inside and out (thank you to the wrap-around nonstick surface). It has a very good weight so the heat distribution is great even around the sides. I've become accustomed to 'flipping' with my stainless pans so when I first tried it with this pan I accidentally sky-rocketed the veggies into the ventilation hood. As with temperature and handling with all new pans, it's good to keep in mind 'baby-steps'.
- We purchased the Analon 10" and 12" a couple of months ago. Our choice of Analon was based on reviews posted here. Must say, the most positive reviews were not exaggerations. They are both great.
- This is a very nice non stick fry pan. It is very heavy so takes a little longer to heat up, but provides nice even heat without hot spots. I would definitely buy this brand again.
- My wife and I received the pans in this set for our wedding over 3 years ago. They have been excellent despite very heavy use from us. The non-stick still doesn't stick and there is almost no discoloration. They are very easy to clean because the entire pan is non-stick, not just the inside. The silicon on the handle does an excellent job of protecting your hand from being burnt even at high temperatures.
The only problem we've had is that on a few of the pans the silicon part of the handle came loose. I submitted a request to their customer service department on the web and had brand new pans within a week at no cost to me.
- I bought this for my wife as a late Christmas present and have waited nearly 8 months before writing this review. After months of regular use, it looks as good as new. The skillet has held up very well - much better than the "T-Foul" skillet that we disposed of upon buying this item.

5 comments about Anolon Advanced 4-1/2-Quart Tapered Saucepot.
- Just finally got around to using this pan. It's perfect for our small family when I don't want to use my dutch oven - plus it's non-stick. It performed just great and worked fine on our flat-top range. I waited until it returned to Amazon with free shipping for a good price. It is as described - tapered - but perfectly sized for one of my burners.
- I purchased this pan to replace a freebie farberware "professional" nonstick 4 quart saucepot. The design of this pot is quite nice - the handles stay cool on the stove and the nonstick surface makes this pot a pleasure to cook with and to clean. The tapered edges are in vogue these days, though I still prefer a pot with straight sides. In comparison to Calphalon pots I own, this is somewhat lighter weight and does not have a commercial feel. This pan, like many anodized pans, requires handwashing.
- Great pot - easy to clean and big enough to make a good sized pot of soup without everything bubbling over the stove. I bought this to add to my basic pieces and the love, love, love this cookware. This pot is surprisingly light weight also so it's easy to handle. The price was great too, sometimes cookware can be so expensive. I chose this over the regular 3 quart saucepan because of size and price. I use it several times a week. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
- This is an awesome pot -- perfect for everything from everyday use to holiday candy making. I had to replace my 30+ year-old heavy "caramel pot" this year, and was pleasantly surprised by this pot -- wish I'd replaced the old one earlier! The heat distribution is very even, and clean-up an absolute breeze, thanks to the coating. I was so excited to see all of the sticky caramel pour right out of the pan, with no rubber-scraper coaxing, and with next-to-nothing left to wash out! Woohoo! Since then, I've allowed the pan to be used for other things too, and haven't found anything to complain about. It's also a great size -- not too big, but not too small, either (and I cook for a family of six). Love it!
- I began replacing my Calphalon commercial non-stick pots and pans when they discontinued the line. The "new" Calphalon One basically sucks.
Some my Calphalon was at least ten years old and from my experience as a professional chef ALL non-stick wears out over time no matter how carefully it is treated.
Alanalon Advanced is a superior product with the added advantage of non-stick exterior which cleans easily without any "special" anodized aluminum cleaners.
I would suggest that if you are intrested in these products keep watching on-line because when they introduce a new pot or pan the introductory price is fabulous. Then the price basically triples.
I will continue to replace my cookware with Analon Advanced, not Analon Titanium whic is not as heavy/even heating and does not have in insulated handles which are a great convenience.

5 comments about Anolon Advanced 12-Inch, 5-Quart Covered Saute Pan with Helper Handle.
- Wonderful pan, just what I needed! I had to replace a Calphalon 12" saute pan because the non-stick surface was coming loose. So far, no problems with this one, though I've only had it a month. Caution: this is a very heavy pan, especially with the lid on! Nice that it has the additional handle; makes it much easier to lift out of it's storage place. They caution you to NOT use spray-on products such as PAM, because it will cause problems down the road with the pan sticking. That might be what I did wrong with the Calphalon. This pan had a small dent in the lid when I received it, in the metal rim, but my husband was able to fix it. So far I love this pan!
- This pan is one you'll love. It is heavy and heats evenly and the non stick surface
is so hard and slick that I've yet to see anything stick to this pan.
We use it for stirfry and I've used it for pancakes. For browning roasts before putting
them in the Crock Pot. It has many many uses.
The whole set is equally fabulous. I highly recommend this Anolon Advanced Cook Series.
- Super easy to clean and nothing sticks to this bad boy! This is one heck of a pan, nice and heavy. I cook a lot and this pan has gotten quite a work out. After a year there was some color change to the bottom, but it hasn't hampered the cooking. I love my Analon set, in fact I love these pans better then my Calphalon sets! The food cooks evenly every time.
- I own several Anolon cookware pieces. You will not be sorry to purchase this high quality pan. Nothing beats having the right tools of superior quality for the job at hand.
- I was hoping that the pan would be as good as it looked and it was
