1. I entertain a lot and needed a piece that would have many uses and this does! I can use it as a regular dish that adds height to my buffet table, as a cake plate, leave on the counter with cookies in it, turn lid over and use as a fruit bowl or punch bowl...anything you can think of. It is very well made - nice and sturdy. I have purchased 3 so far - 1 for me and 2 as gifts. Wonderful addition to my entertaining repertoire...and you can't beat the price.



2. I rarely need a cake plate, so the price of this one was attractive. Unfortunately, the plate surface on mine is not totally flat. As a result, the dome wobbles slightly. This gets very annoying when it is sitting on a table that inevitably gets jostled while people are eating. Also, when the pedestal is inverted for use as a punch bowl, the unevenness of the plate surface (now the base of punch bowl) causes the whole bowl to wobble slightly. It's functional enough that I won't bother replacing it, but I probably would not buy it again.



3. I ordered this item when it was not available at that time so it took a while for me to get it-but I was impressed at the careful packing and the product itself-very elegant looking cake set and can be used as a punch bowl too-would certainly recommend it for all hosts!



4. I recieved this cake plate a couple weeks ago. it's very heavy and well made. it came boxed extra well. The box was inside another box surrounded by air bags. There was no way this thing was going to be broken. I am happy with my purchase.

1. This Anchor Hocking 2.5 gallon Montana jar is beautiful. Flawless, thick glass and a tight fitting lid makes this the perfect container for everything from sugar to ribbon or anything else you need beautiful storage for! Also would make a great seasonal decoration for the table or mantle by placing decorative items inside the jar. Amazon had the lowest price I found after much searching...makes it even better!



2. This is just what I wanted. It's glass and seals but I wouldn't say it's airtight if that's what your looking for but it does seal up. I use them for various dry foods and it looks nice to store things in. Large size so you can add lots of stuff.

1. I've had two of these for about a year. I use it for making coffee with a #4 Melitta filter cone directly into the glass. I like it because I can see when the glass is full, so I don't accidentally overflow like with opaque mugs. Also, it's big enough to hold a nice sized cup of coffee, with added milk if I want.
   
   We have granite countertops, and they have held up fine with no breaks or chips. But, it is glass, so if you allow it or close neighbors to move around in the dishwasher, it could chip, because it flares out at the rim, and is not super thick there. I've never had a problem, but then, I don't overload the dishwasher.
   
   The only minus is that the bottom is dished, so it collects and holds water in the dishwasher.



2. These glass mugs are the best! Their size is just appropriate and easy to hold. They are not too heavy. I bought them so I could see the color of my coffee and teas, so that I could see their strength. Also, for some reason, the glass does not have visible water-spots when it dries. For some reason, it's always pretty spotless. Easy to clean too!



3. I got these mugs for the little women for X-Mas. She loves making my coffee in them and watching it change colors when she adds milk. The result is a cup of coffee with just the right amount of cream. Also, it's nice to have a big coffee after drinking all night and this cups size is just right.



4. These mugs are a nice shape and just the right size, not too large or too small. They feel very good in your hands and it's nice to be able to see what you're drinking! One thing...one mug in the box arrived broken, but they sent me a new set in 2 days, so I'm completely happy.



5. Product was delivered FAST!! Arrived in perfect condition and are sturdy and well made. I am very happy with them.

1. These are really pretty light-weight glasses in great sizes. They are elegant too. One of the glasses was broken on arrival, but the set is so big, it didn't really matter to me. Great value!



2. I gave these a two star rating because shipping was fairly quick and nothing was broken. I will however not buy these again and will replace this set. The glasses have seams, like a pair of pants or something. Never saw anything like it. They are not heavy and break easily, not good for a family with children. I usually like Anchor products, but not this set!



3. I bought these as Starfire from Anchor Hocking. They are very sturdy, not to heavy, excellent in the dishwasher. Excellent set for the money and for everyday use.



4. Very nice set for the money, I didn't have to pay very much thanks to Amazon's great sales they have. Very happy with this purchase.

1. I gave this set as a gift. My sister loved the set and said that it was a good heavy quality of glass. Very sturdy and beautiful set!



2. For the price a great buy. Does the job. Best price i found on the market. Nothing fancy. Good learner set for trying out trifles for the first time.



3. Really beautiful set. I get lots of compliments whenever I use it. Large enough for a full recipe of various trifles, layered salad, banana pudding. Nice and heavy, but it won't fit in my dishwasher!

1. I absolutely love these! They are very heavy duty with a solidly fitting lids. They are also very clean and classic looking, I keep them right out on the counter filled with rice, sugar, and the three kinds of flour that I use most often.....in fact, I'm thinking that I may need a few more for oatmeal and cornmeal, and whatever else I can think of.......I am very pleased with this purchase.
