  1. This pan is just the right size for those little jobs you do when cooking. The handle is nice and long and stays cool. High enough than you don't spill when stirring. Heats fast and keeps food hot. The lid handle does get hot and watch those rivets! The glass lid is a nice touch.

5 comments about All-Clad 12-Inch Nonstick Grille pan.

  1. I bougth this after buying my all clad set of 10 and I am very satisfy with it. Very well made Grille Pan!

  2. I just bought this pan today at Bed Bath Beyond for 39.99 in Mass. If you live in this state, you must go get this pan, this sale was not in the circular. It also comes with a grill pan cooking book.

I bought some rib eye steaks to test it out on, and all I can say is WOW. To the reviewer that said you don't get grill marks, try getting a brick, and covering it tightly in heavy foil, lay it on top of what ever your grilling, you will get grill marks. You said there is no smoke taste, buy Wrights liquid smoke, I like the Mesquite.

This pan is a breeze to clean up, and the food, OMG the food tastes fantastic. No need for any oil, I also grilled brocolli spears when the steaks were almost done.
All-Clad Grille Pan Nonstick 12" Rawks!!! Oh it's heavy, I love that in a pan.

  3. If you are trying to use high heat and get fabulous grill marks, this is not the pan for you. No non-stick coating will hold up to the heat and the ridges on this pan are too wide and shallow.

With that said, this pan is great for cooking fish, seafood and bacon. Clean up is amazingly simple.

If you're only going to buy one grill pan, I wouldn't suggest this one. It is a great supplemental pan.

I give it five stars based on cooking the items above.

  4. Very disappointed that All Clad decided to use non-magnetic stainless steel on this grill pan, which will not heat on an Induction cooktop.

  5. After much indecision, I finally opted for the non-stick grill pan and it is wonderful. It is easy to clean and doesn't take up much storage space, in contrast to the electric grill I have been using. I have used it for hamburgers and they are done just right. I can also toast the buns right on the grill as I cook the meat. I look forward to many future pork chops, bacon, hamburgers, steaks and chicken, all done on my grill. I used to use an iron skillet but the grease had no where to go.

5 comments about All-Clad Splatter Screen.

  1. The holes are too big and it created a huge mess. The lid is too large to store anywhere it a small kitchen. After one use, I returned it!

  2. Just love this product. The splatter screen fits any size saucepan or fry pan. It helps prevent grease from the pot from spraying your arms, your clothing, your face from really hot liquid. It's very easily cleaned-- dishwasher is my method of choice. Dries in no time flat. I've worked with other screens before. You know the ones, they hang in the supermarket aisle and sell for pittance. Though the All-Clad screen is significantly more expensive, it is built to last as long as you do.

  3. I have been purchasing All Clad products for many years for home use. I have also been a professional chef for many years and have come to rely on a couple of quality products and one of them is All Clad. After reading the reviews I was skeptical about order the splatter screen but went forward and order the screen anyway knowing my past experiences with All Clad. I can say that I am very happy I ordered the screen. It is stronger in construction than the cheep ones and the design is a little funky but I hang the screen from my pot rack with the handle over the rack. My stove area is a lot cleaner and the area around my stove is a lot cleaner (without grease)by using the splatter screen.

  4. I'm a HUGE All-Clad fan and I thought that this would be the best splatter screen out there. I was VERY wrong. This lets so much grease through it's joke. Sure, it's not as bad as using nothing, but my entire stove is still covered with grease...and the design is very annoying, too. You can't store it up against the inside wall of a cabinet because of the handle design (which also is dangerous BTW - to lift it off a pan you have to grab it right over the pan - as opposed to a handle extending out - with grease splattering everywhere and steam and heat coming right out. Plus the handle gets EXTREMELY hot as a result of this design, as well as it's over the same heat as your food. PLEASE save yourself $$$ and cleaning time and find a screen with smaller holes.

  5. I purchased this through Amazon but returned it. I intended to use this with their 3qt 10-inch saute pan. But it is huge! It is not an elegant design for this size pan. All Clad should have designed a screen that matches this pan instead of a one-size-fits-all from 8 inches to 13 inches. Furthermore, the unique handle that curves over the screen takes more storage room. My wife didn't like it. Back to the drawing boards All-Clad.
