  1. I'd been looking for a copper paella pan with a lid for the last year or two. This All-Clad is a beautiful and functional piece that will last a lifetime. It is heavy, well constructed, and spectacular to work with. The pan with lid provides multiple uses so that it is an endless workhorse in your kitchen. I love it.

  1. LOVE THIS PAN. I received a much larger ALL-CLAD pan from my sister as a birthday gift, and was so impressed by it's performance, that I purchased this smaller pan. Two thumbs up! I love to cook, and have more cookware than I need, a lot of it non stick, but this was a must have for me. It's a great size, shape, and cleans up easily. The dome lid also makes it great for serving and keeping food hot. Nice presentation.
Very sturdy, well made but not too heavy, and good looking. I hate putting it away! Highly recommend.

  2. This is my favorite pan that I own. I use it multiple times a week for everything from spaghetti sauce to gravy to pork chops and roasts. It's even good for things that need to be seared and then cooked in the oven since it can go from cooktop to oven. Cleanup is easy, and this pan has lasted through some very harsh handling by people that aren't kitchen savvy. I've had it for 6 years now and it's still going strong.

  3. When I ordered this item, I thought I ordered the stainless steel pan, but when it came it was the LTD. Not a problem. I have had it two days and it is already my favorite pan. I made chicken Marsala for guests the first night and scrambled eggs for breakfast. One of the best things is that it is not only a cooking pan but a serving dish as well. Another point is that it takes less heat for cooking. Instead of turning on the burner at full power, I turn it to medium and I don't burn anything. No hot spots but a nice even heat over the entire pan. I will be proud to take this to our church's monthly potluck. It cleans up like a dream and is beautiful as well as making me look like a good cook. What more can I ask?

  1. Few items in our kitchen are as often used or as appreciated as this couldn't-do-without sauteuse pan. Its classic style, of course, is timeless and blends well with other accessories.

We were aware of All-Clad's enviable reputation for high quality cookware but were nonetheless surprised by the flexibility of use and wearability of this item.

At one time while cooking chicken parts the skins stuck to the bottom of the pan (My fault - I turned the heat too high). What would have been a chore to clean in any other utensil was a breeze in this pan.

There is a tradition in our family of serving a wine/beef stew at most family reunions. The recipe has been passed from one generation to the next with the caution to always prepare the dish in a cast iron pan. Imagine everyone's delight and surprise when we prepared this dish in our sauteuse and they declared that it had never tasted better.

The size of this sauteuse offers room to prepare for a few or a crowd. We are extremely pleased with this purchase.

  2. What can I say? It's an All-Clad product. Everything we've cooked in it from stuffed pork loin to simple chicken breasts has turned out perfectly. This pan heats evenly and fits nicely in the oven. It might be nice if it had a non-stick surface; however, I've never had any problem cleaning it. This sautuese costs more than similar products, but it will last a lifetime.

  1. love it love it love it! Quality piece of cookware - best I've ever had. Perfect size for family of 4 dinners. Heats very evenly on my gas stove.

  2. I own a four Emerilware pieces, but this is by far the one I use most. It's deep, it's wide without being too big, and with the glass lid I can easily keep an eye on anything I'm cooking in it.

It's made out of a nice heavy stainless steel, with a heavy bottom you want to evenly heat whatever is in it. And both handles can usually be handled with bare hands, even while cooking, the way they're made.

I especially love how I can start something on the stove top burners, then put the lid on and toss it in the oven to finish. This is great when you want to braze some chicken in a little oil to get a nice crispy skin, or sear the outside of beef or a steak, before finishing cooking in the oven.

I've even made fried chicken in it (one of the user photos is of this).

This is definitely the best pan I have ever purchased!

  3. I own this as part of the 10 piece emerilware stainless kit. This is by far my most used pan. I saute cutlets in it and make a pan sauce from the fond that forms. I also cook risotto and braise in it. The heavy bottom distributes heat to beautifully caramlize onions without burning. It is heavy but I like this pan so much I even travel with it when going on extended trips with a kitchen available! All i need is this pan and my tongs and Le Creuset spatula if I had to choose out of all my kitchenware.

  4. Throughout my married life, I have owned and used non-stick cookware. After expanding my cooking knowledge through good cooking magazines and shows like "Emeril Live!", I came to see that there were some 'holes' in my kitchen supplies. I like to cook many dinners on top of the stove, and so I often sauté meats and make sauces. In order to make the finest-tasting sauce, you need the fond--bits of sautéed meat--that sticks to the bottom of the pan. When you sauté in a non-stick pan, there is no fond. I purchased the Emerilware 3 qt. stainless steel sauté pan after reading about the line. I also trust the All-Clad brand, and respect Emeril Lagasse. After using it several times, I have to say that this is the FINEST pan I have ever owned. It is a thing of beauty, it is heavy-sturdy, it cooks the foods beautifully, and it cleans easily. The handle stays cool during cooking, and the helper handle is a great aid for pouring out the cooked result. I really like the see-through glass lid, as well. I plan to buy more pieces in this line, for it is an excellent cookware investment that will last for many, many years.
