1. I returned this product it wasn't what I thought it should have been. Not a great item to order.



2. This is a nice chain and looked good. It was what I wanted, but it would not work in the application that I had intended. I bought a mystic jade fish pendant and this chain to string it. The ring to connect the clasp was too large to fit through the pendant. She was able to switch with a chain she had and saved the day, but the ring could stand to be ovate or smaller so that would not be an issue.
   
   When she suggested swapping chains, I was imagining how I could modify the chain to make it work (engineer vs. user).
   
   I would have given it 5 stars if it had fit the pendant.

1. the earrings reached me in very good condition and within the promised amount of time. all very good.



2. I did get these on sale, so when I say worth the money, I am talking from a point of view of half price and a bit more off them. As nice as they are, I don't think I would have bought them at the original price, not because they are not nice, but because I wouldn't buy them at that price.
   
   Noticeable on the ear, not too heavy, well made and hang well. The diamond accent completes them. The level back makes putting them on and off the ear easy, confortable and secure.

This is essentially the same review that I wrote for the amethyst 14K yellow gold and diamond pendant, which I bought together with these 14 K yellow gold, two carat amethyst earrings for my grand daughter's 21st birthday. The review for the necklace covered everything I can say about these earrings and I was very happy to find I had made a good decision about making the purchases. I really like to see what I'm buying and thought it might be a bit risky to buy jewelry sight unseen. When the items arrived, I found I need not have worried. I think the price for both the earrings and the necklace are very reasonable, with 50% off, so quite a bargain. I hoped the seller would take the time to make sure there was a good colour match between them and it was absolutely perfect. The stones are clear, unblemished, very nicely cut and the setting shows them off to their best advantage. In addition to the royal blue pouch the company provided as gift wrap, the items are packed in royal blue cardboard boxes of excellent quality and are decorated with a lovely white bow. This bow fastens with velcro so I was able to check the contents without ruining the gift wrap effect. Inside this box was another little jewelry box, in the shape of a round topped treasure chest, with a functioning clasp. This box itself is a treasure and one she will be able to keep this and other jewelry in. My husband and I are both very, very pleased with the quality of workmanship in both items and I will definitely be looking for any future gift needs from Fine Jewelers. 4. While I'm certainly not an expert on the subject of jewelry, I found the appearance and craftsmanship of these earrings to be outstanding. The quality was impressive enough to follow-up this order with an order for a matching necklace.
