1. When I ordered my earrings, I had to ignore the image showing the different birthstones because although I know little about gemstones, I do know that "rose quartz" is probably not emerald green, nor have I ever seen a variety of sapphire that is wine red, nor a ruby that is forest green. I was also worried because the "product details" section says "4mm" while the title says "3mm." My doubts aside, since I have a new piercing I was interested in the stainless steel posts, not the quality of the gemstones, and took a chance with this company.
   I'm glad I did not have high expectations. Two pairs of earrings were boxed in a 4"x4"x6" or so box, which seemed like overkill. While it's possible they were running low after the holiday season, I'm afraid that the excessive shipping costs will be reflected in their product prices. When I received my "amethyst" earrings, one of the gems was a dark purple and the other a light lilac. Even a few inches apart, there was no mistaking that these colors completely did not match. In addition to the mismatched stones, extra slivers of steel were stuck to the posts two of the four earrings I bought. I noticed one and removed it successfully with tweezers, but only noticed the other sliver after I woke up with a very painful and irritated ear.
   
   When I contacted the company about the mismatched earrings, I had already cut down the posts to fit my ear (I wish I'd checked them against each other, but I'd never expected they wouldn't even match). They were very kind and replaced the entire earring anyway, which most companies won't do (as they cannot be resold - which is possibly why they accepted them in the first place). The new earrings I received DID have matching stones and did /not/ have excess metal stuck to the post. I was very impressed with their customer service, but the lack of any quality control the first time made me write this review to caution other buyers. I hope the company will be more careful in the future.
   
   edit: After wearing my replaced earrings for 5 days, I lost one of the stones in the bath. Better hope you like those stainless steel posts, I guess.

1. This ring is very beautiful and it is just as nice as the picture if not better. Perfect size and gemstone is a good size for a delicate ring. Will be checking for products from Gem Avenue first before I even think about purchasing elsewhere. Perfect finish no flaws on band and dolphin is nicely detailed.



2. This product never got to my home. They sure refound my money back, but I was never able to see the real stuff, because they made a mistake in the address.



3. I love this ring. It is graceful and attractive and the stone is just the right size with a good color. It is really nice they offer rings in half-sizes.

1. This ring is a pretty little ring but disappointing. The style is gorgeous and simple. However, the blue topaz is so fair it hardly qualifies as "blue." Indeed, I don't yet own a white topaz ring and this could pass for one. Also, the stone is terribly tiny. I knew it would be small but I expected it to at least show up a little more. Still, when I just want something simple with clean lines that can go with anything, I will likely wear this ring as often as other "any day" rings.
