I just love this necklace and wear it almost everyday, I just wish it was a little bigger (not much, just a little) The chain is very light, but that is to be expected, as you are really buying the pendant. I am very pleased with it for the most part and will probably buy the matching earrings as well

   Writing that I'm Disappointed is being polite! For the price and the discount gave its not worth it. If I saw it in the store I would of expected it to be $59.99 and waited for a sale!
   The pendant arrived today and it's hanging upside down on the chain, I could change it but it would still look cheap. the velveteen bag feels like cardboard with a cheap gift box. If it had a inexpensive hinged jewelry gift box it would make a world of difference. My fault concerning this I didn't check out the specs on that.
   The color is significantly lighter than the picture. The diamond chips look nothing like the picture either. The chain is what I expected, very fine and delicate.
   The Fleur De Lis design is well know. However the larger curves with the diamonds are not as rounded and open as the one in the picture it looks like a cactus in the desert. The smaller part of the Fleur De Lis are tiny and barely large enough to curve.
   Bottom line - Craftsmanship Is Shoddy. Big disappointment and I'm returning it. I will have to give my daughter an IOU for her birthday. Don't get this if you want to make an impression. 3. I bought this for myself as a birthday present, and I absolutely love it.
   
   I think it is exactly as described and it looks wonderful. The blue topaz and white gold setting complement each other beautifully.
   
   The only downside was that the chain was a bit too delicate and too short for my tastes, so I put it on another one that is perfect for it. This is a personal preference though. There was nothing at all wrong with the chain it came on.
   
   Incidentally the review that says it came upside down on the chain may be accurate, but it takes all of 3 seconds to take the chain off, turn the fleur-de-lis around and put it on the chain right side up. That's not an issue at all. And mine came right side up.

1. Pretty earings. Pretty stones. The size of the stone is a little bit smaller than I had expected. And the color is a little bit lighter than the picture. But I still like it very much. It does look like a piece of decent jewlry. And it comes with a nice box.

1. I am a fan of genuine topaz. They are very pretty to look at, and hard enough for everyday wear (8 on the hardness scale out of 10). When picking a ring, I prefer topaz over various quartz or garnet (7 on the scale) for this particular reason. After going through a lot of search results in Amazon Jewelry with my pros-n-cons analysis, I ordered this ring, along with a oval pendant from Silver Shake. The total is around CAD. 22 dollars.
   
   Here is my report: The actual ring that I received is not 100% identical to the one in the photo. The twisted border of my ring is visibly bigger than that shown in the picture. Although the center stone is indeed in the heart shape, the twisted border is not. The blue colour of the stone is not as intense, but that's okay. It reminds me of the icy calming blue of a genuine aquamarine, which is also nice. The price is still good after adding the shipping and handling fee onto the bill. It would have been twice the cost if I were shopping in Sears or the Bay. Taking into acount all factors, he bottom line is: I like this ring.

1. These earrings are better than the rose quartz and amethyst versions, but they are more fashion earrings than fine jewelry. The topaz color is good - not too pale, but the stones are not well matched. One is quite a bit paler than the other. The ear wires are great, but the attachment to the stone could be better. Once again, the vertical screw is easily visible. I would have preferred a horizontal drilling through the top of the stone. The gems in these earrings are much better quality than the amethyst or rose quartz versions though. Overall not bad, but not top quality.
