- Very happy with the service from Silverspeck again.
Also very happy with the ring. The jade stone has been ground to a slightly flatter shape than the rounded shape as depicted in the photo, and the colour of the jade stone is slightly lighter than depicted, but it still has good depth. These differences don't really detract from the ring as a whole; it's still an attractive ring with an unusual design.
I'm also very happy as it matches my "Riches from the Orient" silver jade and peridot bracelet perfectly.

1 comments about 316L Stainless Surgical Steel Earrings - Birthstone CZ Stud Earrings - 3mm.
- When I ordered my earrings, I had to ignore the image showing the different birthstones because although I know little about gemstones, I do know that "rose quartz" is probably not emerald green, nor have I ever seen a variety of sapphire that is wine red, nor a ruby that is forest green. I was also worried because the "product details" section says "4mm" while the title says "3mm." My doubts aside, since I have a new piercing I was interested in the stainless steel posts, not the quality of the gemstones, and took a chance with this company.
I'm glad I did not have high expectations. Two pairs of earrings were boxed in a 4"x4"x6" or so box, which seemed like overkill. While it's possible they were running low after the holiday season, I'm afraid that the excessive shipping costs will be reflected in their product prices. When I received my "amethyst" earrings, one of the gems was a dark purple and the other a light lilac. Even a few inches apart, there was no mistaking that these colors completely did not match. In addition to the mismatched stones, extra slivers of steel were stuck to the posts two of the four earrings I bought. I noticed one and removed it successfully with tweezers, but only noticed the other sliver after I woke up with a very painful and irritated ear.
When I contacted the company about the mismatched earrings, I had already cut down the posts to fit my ear (I wish I'd checked them against each other, but I'd never expected they wouldn't even match). They were very kind and replaced the entire earring anyway, which most companies won't do (as they cannot be resold - which is possibly why they accepted them in the first place). The new earrings I received DID have matching stones and did /not/ have excess metal stuck to the post. I was very impressed with their customer service, but the lack of any quality control the first time made me write this review to caution other buyers. I hope the company will be more careful in the future.
edit: After wearing my replaced earrings for 5 days, I lost one of the stones in the bath. Better hope you like those stainless steel posts, I guess.

- These are beautiful earrings and I love the color of them, but the pearl color is not perfect. When looking at them up close, the color is a little irregular on the pearls (almost spotted--dark and light green). I don't think anyone will really notice unless they are a few inches away. I'm giving as a gift so I would've really liked them to have been flawless. If that's what your looking for you may want to rethink buying these.

1 comments about Sterling Silver Genuine Peridot Ring.
- I was looking for an inexpensive ring to go w/ the 2prs. of peridot earrings I brought, I saw this ring it isn't my style of ring, but I said for 6.00 how can I go wrong, if I don't like it I can always give it to my daughter. Well I love it and my daughter wants one too. It's not large or bulky. It fits my hand perfectly. I will see what other stone it comes in and get those also. Oh yeah I must get my daughter her's too.

1 comments about Amethyst Citrine Topaz Peridot Sterling Silver Pendant.
- This is a pretty pendant that seems to be very good quality. I ordered several items because of special deals that amazon had running. All my orders were placed on the same day, from various dealers. The reason why this pendant got 4 instead of 5 stars is that all the items from this company arrived nearly 2 weeks after all the other items I ordered. It seemed very slow to me. I guess I have been spoiled by amazon's normal delivery time.
On the plus side, if you are patient, the quality is very good from this company. It may be well worth the extra wait time.

1 comments about Sterling Silver 5 MM Round Peridot Cubic Zirconia Stud Post Friction Back Earrings.
- I purchased these earrings for my daughter as a present for her 6th birthday. She has sensitive ears like me, so silver is excellent. They are beautiful and dainty...just right for her little ears, and since they aren't expensive if she looses one it's not a catastrophy. I know she will just love them. For me it is a very special lesson on how to take care of prescious little items. If she shows responsibility then she can expect more in the years to come...but with a higher price tag. Just the right thing for a young lady.
