1. I bought this as an anniversary gift. The pendant is a little smaller than i expected but the color and clarity are superb. It was well worth the $70 for the look on her face when I gave her the necklace. The only reason it 4 stars was because of the small pendant and delicate looking necklace. Since I have seen her wear it she has been very careful not to stress the necklace because its so thin. She is thinking about putting the pendant on a sturdier necklace however so she can wear it more often.

1. I bought this necklace as a Valentine's Day gift for my wife. As with many items between $50-$99 in Amazon's collection, the stones are quite small. The macro focus used for photographing jewelry has a way of making items appear larger than they actually are, and right now there is no photo available with a one-inch ruler to show the scaled size. The sapphire is also a darker color than depicted in the image, but really stands out beautifully against the neck. The chain is quite thin and easily tangled, but all-in-all this is a very attractive accessory!
