1. I ordered these earrings in white gold. They are a very nice size, and the color is a pretty pink/red that looks like a real mined ruby, not the bright red that immediately lets someone know they were not found in nature. Overall, these are beautiful earrings for the price.
   
   I had to laugh at the amount of packing. The presentation is beautiful, but it's work to get at the earrings! They come in a jewelry box that is designed like a treasure chest, which is inside a box with a velcro bow, which is inside the bag they mention in the item description, which is inside the cardboard shipping box, which came inside of the UPS pouch.

1. These earrings were the best gift ever, and for once my hubby did good!
   I have lots of jewelry, you can say I love to collect gems, and this pair or rubies are the most unusual and beautiful earrings I now own. I have heard of Star Sapphires and Rubies, but never seen one. It is just amazing. The color is perfect and you have this mysterious star dancing on the top as light hits the stone. You can play with it all day, watching this star made out of light magically move around. The size of the earrings is perfect and the 14k gold setting is very well made and substantial. Everybody is asking me about my star rubies, they want to see them and play with them. I tell them my hubby got them for me. The packaging was very elegant and I will get myself a pendant and earrings to match, and maybe some Star Sapphires next! !
