1. Knowing the returning popularity of brooches, I was very excited about this product; however, upon receipt, I was highly disappointed. The photograph is certainly not a scaled replica of the piece as the actual product is only slightly over an inch in length and less than an inch in width. It is very small--perhaps even too small to be noticed when worn as a fashion piece and it is a shame that its attractivity will go unnoticed. The quality of the piece is also somewhat low with the clasp being a bit cumbersome to operate and the "onyx" looking all too plastic. It may be an appropriate piece for someone who appreciates less dramatic statements, but for me it was a strong disappointment.
