1. Hello, to you prospective buyers!
   
   I thought I'd let you know- this piece is beautiful (if you're eyeing this, I don't have to tell you how much better it is up front in real life :) ). It's about an inch and a half in either direction. The amethyst donut is smooth and fully polished- not a single 'sharp' spot.
   
   I know from the picture supplied in this page that you can't see the 'center' of the amethyst donut where the pentacle's center is- but it's there.
   
   Now, onto the nitpicks:
   
   The donut is 'hanging' from an oval-shaped silver band where the pendant 'loop' (what the necklace is strung by, at the top). This is all well and good. HOWEVER- when I looked at the image (there should be a second pic showing the side of the item), I assumed the silver piece was attached to the front of the donut only. Not being a silversmith myself, I didn't know or notice until I received it that it's not attached at the front.
   
   This 'hanging' donut would be well and good- as it looks beautiful- however, silver is a soft metal and is prone to bending. Heck, I just had to bend it myself a bit so that there wouldn't be an eighth of an inch between the donut and the pentacle.
   
   However, that dangling space between the silver pentacle and the donut is still there- and if the silver piece behind the pendant that curls down like a fish-hook gets damaged and/or falls out, the pendant is effectively broken- with only the silver pentacle left.
   
   3 stars- lovely design (after looking at over 3,700+ pentacles all over the web, including amazon), great gemstone (amethyst- a 7 on the MOHS scale- meaning it's not as strong as diamond, topaz, ruby/sapphire, or emerald, but is stronger than talc, gypsum, calcite, fluorite, apatite and feldspar.
   
   I expect that amethyst shouldn't become scratched after a bit of daily wear from the silver in front of the donut- but I'm wary of the back of the pendant. Personally, paying about $32 for this piece (S+H included) is a bit steep given the not-too-sturdy design of the piece, but since this is the only piece with a design I like in the gemstone I like out of a LOT of pentacles, I'm happy with it.

1. These are very pretty and sparkly just like the matching pendant. They were purchased for my 5 year old daughter and her Kindy graduation. The only this is that they seem rather large for a young girl..... she loves them though; so she will continue to wear them. The size is sort of an inch in oval length. If you like hoops then these will feel very natural to you. Very pretty and sparkly... they fit my 27 year old ears perfectly.
   
   Highly recommend... hope that they will hold over time, because my daughter really loves them.

1. I got these because I had also purchased the green peridot which I absolutely adore.... these? The amethyst looked almost "bleached" and the two earrings doesnt evne look uniform. Barely even purple at all... I'm a bit disappointed and am still debating if I should keep it or not....
   
   I rated it 2 stars just because Amazon does have an awesome return policy and customer service.... and the earrings are okay... just not as pictured and looked like I said... bleached.. =(



2. It's simplistic. I wanted something with pearls and real stones and this one fit the bill. My only dissatisfaction is that the pearls are misshapened and you can clearly tell where the center is still being rounded out - you can see these medium sized threads around the entire middle of the pearl where the oysters were still working on forming the pearl.



3. I got 2 pair they both and the pearls on both of them looked like snow men.



4. I bought these as a gift and was very disappointed when they came. The pearls looked very pathetic and had a rings around them. (The pearls were not smooth.) I returned the earrings.

   This product is the same as the ring, very good looking and the person it was purchased for is very pleased.



2. These earrings are smaller than I thought they would be. They look very beautiful when you look at them from far away, but up close they look sloppy. They have a lot of scratches from production that were just polished over instead of being sanded out. Also, one of the earrings dangles in an odd, off center kind of way. Since they were so inexpensive, I am going to keep them and I'll wear them when I see grandma, since she can't see that well. :)



3. I bought these as a gift, they are beautiful, loved them when I received them, the person who got them also loved them, great quality and they look exactly as the picture shows them. Love the whole collection they had the earrings are really a great find!



4. These earrings are adorable, they are light weight. You dont even know they are there.



5. I love these earrings! The price was perfect and the shipping was so fast.
   They are just what I was looking for. They are beautiful!
