5 comments about Stock Trading Wizard : Advanced Short-Term Trading Strategies for Swing and Day Trading.
  1. This book is a great primer for beginning traders, in that it gives you a full overview of daytrading stocks, from an introduction to the markets, to explanations of execution methods, Level II, position management and money management. It's a great book for beginners and intermediate traders alike.

  2. 10 Stars !!!!

This book has saved me a fortune. When ever I'm in a slump, I stop trading and read this book again. It always gets me back on track. My main problem was I wasn't letting the market tell me which direction to trade. I was trading on the long side of the market when I should have been on the short side and vise versa. I've stopped watching the tape so closely, and focus now on general market conditions for my long or short signals. Now I don't get caught on the wrong side of the market as much. I feel that you can take many pages of this book and say that each one of those pages is worth far more than the price of admission. That is my honest opinion.

  3. I like the way Tony guides you to the world of stock trading. He defenetly provides the neccessary information for beginners.

Just keep in mind that beginners NEED to go beyond the basics and learn more practical strategies that can show them specific ways to make money from the stock market.

Day trading is all about making buy and sell decisions. When you place a trade either your going to lose money or your going to make profits, and some other times you will break even. Trading doesn't have to be complicated and should never be regarded as gambling. Trading is a game of strategy.

That's why The most important aspect of stock trading is the knowledge FILTER you employ to make your buy & sell decisions. There are many "fantastic" strategies outhere, but you need to test them in order to discover which ones help you the most.

Complicated systems that rely on a "boat load" of technical indicators can make you slow, and being slow in this game can be as dangerous as not knowing what to do in the first place.

I think the worst thing that can happen to a beginner stock trader is to get information overload. It's better to go step by step, and test a simple strategy that can show you how to focus on concrete ways to make money.

Fortunatly there are some good sites on the web today that can show you how to trade in practical and effective ways. One of those sites is Sharp Trades ( SharpTrades com )

In the end, stock investing & trading is all about buying and selling according to your knowledge FILTER. Once you master and follow youre proven filter parameters like a clock, you can expect to start making serious amounts of cash on a consistent basis.

  4. I re-read this book and was going to write Tony a thank you note for a truly outstanding book that stands the test of time. Most financial books today only cover one aspect or another of the marketplace. Tony's books cover all angles and give a wonderful in depth blue print for the person who is willing to follow the advice given. Tony's book "The Stock Trader" is a must read accompanyment to this book and is worth the money. No other book on the market takes you inside a trader's mind and walks you through the trades as this does. I cannot recommend Tony's work enough and I am proud to consider him a friend. He is the happiest, most successful person I know. We can all strive to attain his example of success.

  5. I brought this book in 2000 when I tried to learn trading. The reason I brought it was because it was so expensive and had many 5 star reviews. I thought it must has money making secret inside. However, it only contains some simple basic trading informations and some basic strategy, which is OK if it the book costs 10 dollars. I suspect those reviews were written by the author and his friends in order to boost sale.

2 comments about The TurnKey Investor's Mobile Home Investing Success Secrets (Audio Program): What the Mobile Home Investor Pros Know That Beginners Do Not!.
  1. We have another hot product here from matthew chan's ascend beyond publishing company. This product is hosted by matthew, but the person speaking on the program is jerry hoganson. This program is a very simple to understand quick course on mobile home investing. Jerry allows people to know who he is and what made him get into investing in his first couple of chapters. I was able to relate to jerry cause he was not born into riches. He was a hard working guy who just wanted to find something he enjoyed which could provide for him and his family. This allowed me to really hear what he had to say. He breaks down mobile home investing where even a child could understand it if needed. I mean im 23 and i have always heard the stories. Mobiles home are bad investments and other things. Well, after listening to jerry i now know the truth. Mobiles home can be a nice business or side project to generate cash flow. Once again i will say it is not a full blown teach you everything in a hour course. What the program does teach is how to inspect the homes, find the deals, work out the numbers, what mobile homes to buy and many other things. So, once again i have to give this product 5 stars. I have posted a few reviews for this author and people might think i am playing fraviote. Well, i am because these courses and books are the real deal, no fluff and no i promise you'll make millions in a year or two. Just down to earth, real information and that is what i look for.

  2. Very informative for a first time introduction into Mobile homes purchases and investing. I liked the part about what to look for when inspecting a home to purchase and how to gauge mobile home parks in general.

5 comments about 101 Businesses You Can Start at With Less Than One Thousand Dollars: For Students (101 Businesses You Can Start with Less Than 100 Thousand Dollars).
  1. 101 Businesses You Can Start with Less than a Thousand Dollars was a great read for the beginning entrepreneur. I was able to get some great ideas on what businesses I could get into, where to start, and where to go for online business resources. This book was also packed with great tips on how to succeed in your chosen business. You don't have to be a business student or graduate to be able to understand and use this information; the basics of business are covered within the book.
I loved the true life success stories included; as well as, the checklists on everything from self-evaluation to marketing plans, business finances to start-up procedures. 101 Businesses gave me the information I needed to choose a business, learn what that venture involved and required, and evaluate whether that idea was the right fit for me. It even provided money saving tips on starting a personal business. This book is a great read if you are looking to start working for yourself.

  2. Increasing numbers of people are taking the plunge and setting themselves up in business, so if you've got an idea and the motivation to get started, it's very possible to create a successful business. If however you know you'd like to run a business, but you're short on funds and don't really know what kind of business it is possible to start up on your own, then this book is going to be worth every cent you paid for it.

Aimed at students who want to start a business in order to make an income to support their studies, Heather L. Shepherd's book is easy to read, easy to follow and interactive. It doesn't just talk about setting up a business as if it's something someone else does. Instead this book makes the reader really think about what they want to do. From the opening chapter the book with its self evaluation quizzes and financial planning forms makes the reader seriously consider their suitability for running a business of their own.

With honest case studies of people who have started their own business showing what they've done, and what they've learned along the way, the book also gives two sets of possible businesses for readers to consider. The first set are for those who have no or relatively small start-up capital (under $100), and the second set are for those who have a little more (under $1000). Each of the businesses highlighted are a concise guide of what the business would need in terms of start-up such as a general overview, how to get started - including equipment required, advertising tips and further information resources.

Along with all of this information there are also chapters covering a more in-depth look at the legal, financial and marketing aspects of running a business.

Whether you're a student, or a stay-at-home mom, or just someone who is tired of the 9-5 routine working for someone else but don't have any spare capital to really sink into a business, this book is a great start to get you thinking about the possibilities out there for creating a business on less than $1000.

  3. "Anyone who has devotion and drive, a passion for success, and an understanding of business concepts can run a business," according to Heather Shepherd, author of 101 Businesses You Can Start With Less Than One Thousand Dollars - for Students. Then why do so many fail? Inadequate or lack of a well-thought out business plan. But where to begin?
Ms. Shepherd demonstrates in her book that the first steps to creating a sound business plan are evaluating your own strengths and weaknesses. She has created check lists where you ascertain what you know and what what you need to learn. She teaches you to create your budget and how to get outside help in evaluating your business ideas. Intermittent case studies allow you to see the information put to work and clarify your understanding. Then the real fun begins.
The book contains hundreds of websites that you may contact to start working today. It lists 101 specific businesses you can initiate, their earning potential, level of ease of breaking into the business, and some of the equipment needed to get started. Once you have decided what you want to do, Ms. Shepherd literally leads you step by step through the process of writing your business plan. She lists what may be needed for your home office, for advertising and for getting your storefront up and running. You receive tips and pointers on where and how to get financing. She concludes the book with an entrepreneur's success story, leaving you with everything you need to write one of your very own.

  5. This book is an excellent resource and ignites the passion in those students who want more than just a "job"; it is for those who have that entrepreneurial spirit. Even if you were just tinkering with an entrepreneurial idea, "101 Businesses" walks you through each stage from conception to financing to location, to make your idea a reality.
While many young adults possess great business ideas, being an entrepreneur takes courage, ability and belief. "101 Businesses" tackles the hard questions, asking youth to look inside themselves and make sure they are ready to take this self-employment step and all the responsibility that comes along with it. It offers several checklists to determine your level of expertise in sales, organization, accounting and tax preparation - all items that come along with owning your own business.
More importantly, "101 Businesses" offers success stories from various business owners who believed in their concept enough to take the plunge into self-employment. These profiles illustrate what challenges each owner had to overcome, as well as what their likes and dislikes are of running their own business.
Amidst all of the advice, are pages and pages of businesses students can start for virtually no money up to $1,000. The resources this book provides the young entrepreneur are invaluable and worth the research before they decide to take their idea to the next level.

5 comments about How to Be Wildly Wealthy FAST: A Powerful Step-by-Step Guide to Attract Prosperity and Abundance into Your Life Today!.
  1. There is nothing wrong against anyone here , but I am kinda tired of this So called 'Self Help Millionaires ' and 'Gurus' who know it all...

I have read over 30+ books on the topic to make money fast and after reading sanding's book...I only said "oouch, what a way to make money Sandy "...

This book is nothing new as there are bunch of authors like Sandy who are making money by selling you hopes and dreams as they know 'What Sells in market as Everybody want to see some hope and Dreams to make mega$$$$$.'

I would recommend you to read books from Genuine Authors like Murphy , Catherine Ponder ...

Sandy gave her first book what a Lovely and Wild Title 'How to Be Wildly Wealthy FAST'...

Sandy has found out that selling you dreams and hopes does make money and she has found the weaker spot of common people as everybody is looking for some kind of hope/dreams and I think Title of this book should be 'You buy what I Sell ( Dreams and Hopes ) and I Make Millions , Fast'.

I am not sure how Genuine these reviews are but Most of reviews of her book seems to come from other Self Help Gurus or People who sell/do similar things as Business and give each other 5 Star Reviews , IMHO

Self Help is a big business and way it works is 'Sell your book first and then ask readers to join their Classes/personal-Trainings and ask them to Buy more Stuff and make mega $$$$$s and you will be millionare '. How sad and pathetic way to make money. Isn't it ?.

Sandy Puts her story in the book but I think her story is purley an isolated case or pure coincidence and I have seen many people making money like that. Read her story and you will think , what's big deal about that ?.

I believe and seen that there is a big market and lot of potential to make money in writing self-help books / selling seminars and products on how to be wealthy or succeful and Sandy knows 'How to do that' and she did it.

There are very few authentic writers ( Catherine Ponder, Joseph Murphy etc ) in this area, who just sell you the book with a concept and not their costly seminars / products or trainings. After reading 30+ books , I realized that.

I really feel sorry if you bought this book and helped Sandy's attempt to make money by selling you the book and DVD.

I am getting emails all the time to buy more books/seminars or products to be wealthy ( who will be wealthy then !,that you can figure out ).

I would recommend that you scan this book at borders and I am positive , you will never buy book of this magnitude for $20.

Sandy's this attempt to be in Self help business is not worth $20 bucks. I have read and attended enough seminars to find that this is 'Self Help is Great Business to Make Money'.

keep away from such books and DVD's as I know , ethically , there are more ways to be happy and still make money. ( Read Chopra/Joseph Murphy/Catherine Ponder's books instead ).

    Pat

  2. Like just about all books out there about how to Attract Prosperity and Abundance into Your Life, these volume is missing the part about how to overcome internal resistance to success.

This not surprising - we are inundated with messages that all we need to do is get our mind aligned with our intentions, say our affirmations and do the right things, involking the law of attraction. Right... and then we stop ourselves short of our goals and get stuck.

Michael Norman recently was quoted: "Whenever people talk about needing more willpower, I know that what they're really saying is that they want to be able to fight harder against themselves. Willpower is only needed if you're trying to behave in a way that runs counter to the emotional state you're in."

If you combine this book with one like "The Missing Link to Your Financial Success", you'll actually be able to get going again if you get stuck. Otherwise, you may be just spinning your tires and looking for another formula, when you really need a way to make that formula work for you.

  3. I'm still in the process of reading the book, while following the advice given within. I feel great and every day is more exciting!

  4. No two ways about it, Sandy Forster loves her subject. Unfortunately I found this was a little distracting - she underlines and bolds in almost every paragraph which feels a little like shouting to me. A little over done in my view. Also - a little too many suggrestions to go to her website and check out her other products - a little forced and contrived.

The content is pretty good - very simple strategies are included her for the metaphysical and practical strategies in attracting wealth. I would have liked more details on her own wealth strategies - she only vaguely alludes to her 'direct selling personal development business' - I would have liked to have found out more about this.

Overall -worth the read and some good take-away strategies.

  5. Yes, I read the entire book. A much, much better book is Professional Dreamer. The Abraham-Hicks books are weird, I returned the one I ordered. This one includes every wealth trick you can think of... but also inlcludes frugality and debt chapters, turning your thinking to just that, which is counterproductive. If we are wealthy and we are as we think we are wealthy, we do not need to think like a poor man, about our debts or how many pennies we can save.
