4 comments about Bodhran Economy Case, 18".
- I was surprised at how nice this case was. It is much nicer than it looked in the picture. I would and I will, buy more of these cases.
- Considering the low cost, this is a good case and is much better than not protecting your bodhran at all. However, I would prefer one that has a little padding just for that much more protection.
- Made of nylon, it is lightweight, strong, and collapsable. It has a large pocket on the side for the tipper and whatever else. A large looping handle - it is easy to carry and I hang the case from a nail when not in use. In a word - outstanding!
- A cheap bodhran case that does the job. I would not recommend it for an expensive quality instrument as it is not padded. It works great for a cheap Pakistani instrument like mine.

4 comments about Crescent 25" Coffee Kids Toy Acoustic Guitar with Gig Bag and Accessories.
- I purchased this for a Santa gift for a public school kid. I opened the box to be sure it was in good condition. It is a cute little toy guitar, very lightweight and easily managed by a child. The tuning pegs need to be tightened in order to tune the guitar. Once I tuned it, it sounded pretty good but hard for an adult's fingers. It is real wood and these are real guitar strings, and includes accessories. I only wish I could see this little girl's face when she opens the gift from Santa! The price is right for a functioning guitar for a little kid to start off with.
- The strings wouldn't tighten. Not sure if it's worth paying more shipping to return it.
- This kid acoustic guitar looks really nice, but when it comes to using it, we had to DUCT TAPE the tuner knobs in order to keep the strings in place. And we had to use A LOT OF DUCT TAPE. The guitar is of no use if the strings won't stay in place and without duct tape, we couldn't get one string to play.
Now that it is all duct taped, my 3 year old does enjoy it, but the toy shouldn't have to be duct taped in order to work properly.
- We purchased this guitar as a Christmas present for our young son, since he sees daddy playing guitar quite a bit. It is a very stylish looking guitar with nice accessories, but don't expect to be able to tune it to sound anything like an actual guitar. It is best for pretend play more than anything.

- It's fun to play, but after days of teaching myself to play via the Internet to the point where I could change notes, nobody was actually able to hear me play. It was only audible in my own head. Cheap construction too.
- This is complete junk, and will frustrate anyone trying to play it. I could not even hear the sound in my own ears! After I bought this paperweight, I went online and found a good one for $23 shipped.
I see that some people have given it high ratings. I suspect that they were either lucky, or that they are shills.
- This is my first jaw harp,so it took me a while to get the sound from it,but once I did,I really enjoyed it.Well worth the price.
- when i first got this i looked up a how-to video on youtube--for the "complete instructions inside" were only a few incomplete sentences. i saw the person playing with ease and i couldn't manage to get one sound. later i picked it up again and after an hour was playing notes. i ain't a muscian so i can't validate the high-end musical accuracy of this, but i managed to figure this out and make correct noises and differentiate them with my lips and tongue. this obviously isn't for those who want something professional, but if you want to just get into the jew harp for some pocket change, i'd say this provides a lot of fun and cool sounds if you aren't a perfectionist or take yourself too seriously as a musician.
- I had a nice jaw harp that eventually broke. Bought one of these as a desperate replacement, big mistake. I wouldn't give this to my worst enemy. The tine (the thing you move to get sound) was unbearably stiff. It was like wrestling with a set of house keys trying to get any kind of sound out of this. You are better off getting a murchunga or a vietnamese jaw harp. They are easy to play, fairly loud and a variety of sweet sounds. You won't believe the difference.

5 comments about Blues King Harmonica.
- I don't know if this is the regular Ocarina Of Time Ocarina or the Extended range one, but I ordered the Extended range sweet potato Ocarina Of Time from Song Bird Ocarinas for a whopping $59.99 [plus another $18.00 for the carrying case and song books] and I felt like crying when I got it in the mail. It's so dang small that it fits in the palm of your hand, and the holes are so close together that it's hard to know if your fingers are even over the holes or not! And it doesn't sound that great either. It sounds like a basic flute. I thought that an Ocarina would be easier to play than a flute but it's just as hard if not harder!
Another downfall is the carrying case [though I doubt the ones on Amazon has one]. There's no padding in it to protect the Ocarina in case you accidently drop it. This Ocarina is porcelain and will shatter very easily if dropped. It's definately not a toy!
Don't buy it for anyone unless you know that person will take good care of it. I didn't order mine from Amazon because I don't order thing's like this USED. I would never put my mouth on something that someone else had their mouth on as well! Buy this only if you're a collector and you love The Legend Of Zelda games. But keep in mind that it's VERY tiny.
- First off, this is not used if you buy it directly from Song Bird Ocarina, they make them new, and that is who is selling them here.
Second, it is quite small, so I would recommend going to their website and ordering the XL instead, however this works if you don't have the extra money. It sounds good, but it takes a bit of practice to get a nice tone.
One other thing is that it's more of a purple/blue then a straight up blue, but it's better then other one's I've had. I would buy from Song Bird again, and I'm probably going to get the XL when I get a chance.
- My son loves the ocarina! It's a very easy instrument to learn and has a nice sound. My son was able to play music right away.
- It looks small when you first open it, but when you think about it, it was pretty small in the game too. I do not have small fingers and I find that the size doesn't make it hard to play at all. Also, it is not fragile at all. I'm a bit of a klutz, so I've probably dropped it half a dozen times, several times on hard wood floor rather than carpet and it remains thoroughly intact. It also sounds great. I collect ocarinas and have about ten and this one sounds the best out of all of them.
- Let me start by saying I don't know the first thing about ocarinas. I bought this for my seven-year-old who is a huge fan of Zelda.
The ocarina arrive in a small box wrapped in tissue paper. Included was a beginner's booklet that contained several songs to get you started. The songs that were included were:
Ocarina 101 (the basics of getting started)
several different scales
Song of Time
Zelda's Lullaby
Market Song (Hyrule Castle)
Epona's Song (Lon Lon Ranch)
Saria's Song
Minuet of Forest
Serenade of Water
Clock Town Song (from Majora's Mask)
Song of Healing
West Clock Town
Bolero of Fire
The Great Fairy Song
Amazing Grace (two versions)
Happy Birthday Song
Joy to the World
On Top of Old Smokey
Bach's Minuet
Auld Lang Syne
Oh Suzannah
The Irish Washerwoman
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (Clint Eastwood)
Do a Deer (From the sound of Music)
The Simpsons Theme
Hava Nagila
It is very small, but perfect size for my son. I don't know how big these things are supposed to be, so it could be exactly where it should be for all I know.
There are four holes on top, and one on the bottom.
Also, it is fairly fragile. But again, it may be supposed to be like that. I think if dropped on the carpet it would survive, but not on a hard floor.
I am happy with the purchase and so is my son, so happy ocarining!

4 comments about 8" Plastic Rainmaker.
- This rainmaker is really pretty and bright - wonderful visual stimulation for a young child or anyone with visual limitations that are stimulated by bright colors. The size is just right for a toddler or older to use independently. The sound, though pleasing, is not an authentic rain sound that you might get with a wooden rainmaker.
- This is the most wonderful toy ever invented. I worked with babies in a hospital for two months over the summer and this was the only thing I needed to make them stop crying. Even while they were in what could only be immense pain the remained fascinated with the rainstick. It can be a little bit loud, so it's not ideal for public areas, but seriously, I swear by the rainmaker.
- My son liked this item alot when we first got it. It kept his attention quite a bit. He doesn't play with it much after 3 months, but isn't that the case with most toys and toddlers? It is fun to use with other instruments when listening to music.
- This rainmaker is brightly colored and made of plastic, which is good for a young child. It doesn't sound as much like real rain as the more realistic stick-looking ones do, but it's good for a toy and a young child will find it fascinating. Quality construction and good size.

2 comments about DVD-Beginning Bluegrass Banjo.
- This tape/dvd is an outstanding piece of work. I think it is essential for people starting out on the banjo to have training such as this. Homespun has split screen so you can see the picking/strumming and also see the fingers on the fretboard. If you enjoy 3 finger Scruggs style, buy this lesson now and start to play a mean banjo!
- I've been picking the banjo for 16 years and owe it all to starting with this incredibly clear, well organized, and accessible bundle of lessons. I first bought it as a video and went through it with a fine tooth comb. Many fine hours of jamming and playing in bands have ensued. Pete is one of the finest teachers out there...you'll be rolling and grinning before you know it!!

3 comments about Hohner Harmonica Holder.
- The title of my review says it all. The Hohner harmonica holder was the first one I ever purchased, and it performed fantastically. Due to the wide angle of the neck brace and the plastic tube covering it, I never had a single problem with the holder moving and sliding around my neck. My only complaint is that, after a few months of heavy use, the two small pivots that was moved into place to keep the harmonica from falling out began to loosen. A month later, and they were entirely useless, leaving the harmonica free to fall out. This was so bad that I opted to by a new holder (the one by Lee Oskar, which also has issues -- in particular, it slides around my neck way too much). Still, I'd have to recommend the Lee Oskar holder for those starting out. If Hohner changes the hinge design on this, it'll be hands-down the best harmonica holder out there.
- I bought two of thes holders--both of them did not hold the ten hole harmonica for even a second. I thought maybe the first one was defective--but guess they all are at least for the smaller harmonics.
- Received my Hohner harmonica holder and as with all Hohner products it is first rate. No complaints at this point. It holds my harp firmly and the fit will probably work for almost any size person. The product arrived on time and packaged so that there was no damage to the product upon arrival.

5 comments about Kay Chicago Blues Harmonica, Key of C.
- Well, like others, I fell for the cheap price(but don't regret it) and previously never even had an INTEREST whatsoever in harmonica. So, I give much thanks to the fact that this little cheapo gave me the chance to get my mouth wet(vice feet wet.haha) and discover the fun of harps. It plays well, has brass reeds, lucite plastic comb(middle)(just like the higher end Lee Oskars and Special 20 Hohners), and stainless covers. I say for the price of a Biggie fry, you get a good starter harmonica. You don't expect to get Cadillac comfort from a Kia so WHY would you give a good cheap harmonica a bad write-up just because its not top notch sound like a HIGHER PRICED harp. The sound is a little "tinnier" than my Hohners and in the beginning it was a little hard to play and needed to break in, just like any harmonica ever made(short of a Bluesharp). By harder, I mean it took a good bit of wind to sound notes and that makes smooth transitions a little harder until you learn how to play good. Now, It plays as easy as my Hohners. If you want a good solid starter harmonica- this is a great deal. If you want more from the start, go PAY more...Good harps are 16-25 dollars. Even though the saying is "you get what you pay for", in THIS case you GET more than you pay for rather than getting less for "just paying less." I mean, really folks- WHAT can you get for 1.00-2.00 these days? Not much, so this is a lot of product for a dirt cheap price.
- you get what you pay for with this model; contrary to what someone else said- it is NOT easy to play; you really have to blow into it; a few of the really high and low notes are poor compared to better quality harps; perhaps if it is just for a practice harmonica, the low price wont hurt, but, then again, you might want to practice on a harp with a better sound
- I order this because I wanted to learn to play. I wasn't epecting much from a two dollar harmonica, but I was to cheap to buy a nice one if I wasn't sure I was going to be able to learn to play it. I was suprised at how well it worked,I was to play anything I wanted in a week. After three week the middle brace fell down on both sides so I order the same one (again trying to save money)I used it in the state fair youth harmonica contest and came out with the blue ribbon. I have been playing for 18 month, and in my penny pinching way have re-order this harmonica four time, I recived a much nicer honer from a friend and it works so much better. so guess if you've never played a nice one then you won't know the difference but if your playing pro then you'll want a much nicer one!

- Generally, I like it. I got it within two days of ordering, and it's a nice little harmonica to wail tunes on. The only real complaint I can have is that mine had (and still has)a nice big dent on the bottom. It doesn't seem to effect the playing, and it adds a sense of character to it, so I really don't mind. I've grown attached to it just as I have to all of my other instruments, so it fits right in, next to my Hohner.
