1. Carol Channing is a wonderful storyteller and she and the orchestra make the classic tales of Peter and the Wolf and Tubby the Tuba come alive. This audio cassette is great for learning the musical instruments, since each character in Peter and the Wolf is represented by a different instrument. My children listened to this over and over again and I'm glad to find it again for my niece and nephew.



2. I did not like Peter and the Wolf. It is a bad story. Dont buy it!



3. I've listened to many, and this is by far the most animated and entertaining performance. No other audio combines these two works (Peter and the Wolf, and Tubby the Tuba), but this combination is the best match for young or not so young listeners. It's a real gem.



4. My sister in law, Ellen M. gave me this music. We have both sang professionally and we BOTH have very smart tasteful kids!
   All of my son's 5 cousins cut their teeth on this recording. This is good music for the babies! Ellen is battling ovarian cancer and I thank her for her music here and now.Please pray.



5. I grew up on this tape! I am now in college and can't believe none of my colleagues have heard of Tubby the Tuba! Carol Channing is a wonderful narrator and I would suggest this tape to anyone who has children. I am 19 years old and I still love listening to it, but I guess I am just a kid at heart!

Beautifully illustrated. Surely a classic. Great gift book too.



2. This is a picture book the highest quality. It is a bit like Little Red Riding Hood, except instead of a little girl, there is a little boy. Instead of a hood and a basket, there is a Tuba. Instead of grandma, there is a Tuba instructor. Instead of the wolf, there are a forest full of animals, all enamored by the tuba. And there is no bloody ending.

   Ok. It is nothing like Little Red Riding Hood. But it is a lot of fun. I recommend it highly.




3. Music lessons will be seen in a new light after reading Tuba Lessons by T.C. Bartlett, illustrated by Monique Felix.

   The imaginative record of a boy's trip to his music teacher's house is a bouncy, fun book to which any child who has ever taken a music lesson can quickly relate. The text is sprightly, and the illustrations vibrant.
