1. I work for the band and orchestra division of a national music retailer and this is our student model horn of choice as well as that of most music directors in the area...AVOID anything made is CHINA...JEAN BAPTISTE, and anything with a colored tint or spray to it...they sound like crap...and don't get your kids horn at Walmart, COSTCO, or SAMS...you can't get them fixed because they don't sell parts to repair shops...

1. The trumpet was really beautiful when it arrived. We had trouble playing it due to sticking valves. Having played for 50 years, we tried to oil them to no avail. We got permission to return the horn, which we did. All this happened in August and we are still waiting for our refund in mid December...



2. This was a horrible experience. First I paid Extra to have the trumpet delivered by Christmas only to have it arrive by UPS two days after. Then when I open the package the trumpet is the wronge color. Next it takes two weeks to receive an E-mailed return label (two weeks via E-mail!). Then one month and one week after I placed the order I get the trumpet and it is missing a valve cap and there is damage to the INSIDE of the carring case. Due to these delays my son, who is in a high school Jazz band, missed out on several occasions that he wanted to use the trumpet. He was very disappointed. Due to these problems I fully expected some sort of compensation to include the missing valve cap and an undamaged carring case and at least the extra shipping fee I paid to get the trupmet by Christmas. On February 2, 2007, one month, two weeks and two days after I placed the order for the trumpet I now have the trumpet, the valve cap and a new carring case. To date 02-03-07 I have not heard from or reveived a refund for the extra shipping fees. I will keep this door open, but will NOT buy anything from this seller again.

3. There is a trumpet player in my school's band that has one of these, and it is just HORRIBLE. It is never in tune, she is easily at the level of lead trumpet, but due to this horrible "instrument", is playing 3rd trumpet, and is seated last in the section. This is a horrible piece of metal suitable only for a lamp. If I could give this a negative rating, I would. Also, the saxes they make are c**p, an i am saying this from personal experience.

1. Those interested in beginning and returning to trumpet playing (I myself am a returnee) can trust that this instrument will be get them pointed in the right direction. Fully functional, I've had it a couple weeks now and it still works. Doesn't come with the valve oil I'm used to seeing but that can easily be purchased at a music store or online even. Comes with white gloves I don't use, but they seem pretty nifty.



2. This trumpet is really great for any trumpet player inexperienced or experienced. The trumpet comes with white gloves, 7c mouthpiece, and a case. The only thing is that the valves stick, but valve oil can fix it. You have to buy the valve oil separate.

1. The trumpet came quickly and worked great. The only problem was that when I removed the first valve to clean it I put it back in and it did not lock in place. Other than that it was perfect. I named it Donald Trumpet!



2. the trumpet makes a great sound but the valves don't work. it does not matter how much valve oil I put into it the valves keep sticking to the bottom of the trumpet it got stuck once.don't buy this trumpet.



3. This trumpet is great. It works perfectly and the valves work fine. ADVISE - If the valves dont fit back into place try seeing if the spring is tangled up or if your teacher can help ask the band teach. for help. Thank you Bye



4. I was skeptical before buying this but decided to take my chances. When I received it I was surprised. The finish was very good. It looks great. Came with a very sturdy carrying case. The sound it also good, will work well for the school band. Thumbs up.

1. I'm not a trumpet player but play the guitar. I've been interested in playing the trumpet so I bought this one. I'm not disapointed. Its a simpler construction than the $1000+ trumpets at my local music store but it is a real instrument and I've been successful in playing it. I've shown it to a professional trumpet player who gave it thumbs up and was quite happy with the intonation. It comes in a good hard case with a 7C mouthpiece and valve oil. You'll need to get a better valve oil than comes with it (make quite some difference for me) and some slide grease.



2. This is a pretty good horn for beginners, but i would not suggest this to an intermediate or advanced trumpeteer. I used a little, but now its at my old school being used by 5th graders.
