1. This book is well organized and includes material at a variety of levels and for a variety of interests.

1. With this volume we get some of the most striking, popular and yet profound of J.S. Bach's organ music: the 4 Toccata and Fugue pairs, the g-minor Fantasia and Fugue, the great c-minor Passacaglia and Fugue, and a number of other thoroughly-beautiful works (e.g., the Fantasias in G-major {"Pièce d'Orgue"} and c-minor). This way, the other 2 volumes of 1) Preludes & Fugues where the Preludes are strictly preludes, plus 2) the initial volume of trio-sonate, the 3rd-part of the Klavierübung and various Chorale-Preludes and workings around, are properly balanced and complemented to give the overwhelming bulk of Bach's entire organ oeuvre.
   
   All of these are beautifully reproduced from the authoritative Bach-Gesellschaft edition at a fraction of the price those volumes would cost otherwise! [Those who're unhappy about the page-turns had better blame the Bach-Gesellschaft instead!]

1. I recently bought this book for my personal musical enjoyment (and to play out of). It consists of the Six trio sonates for 2 manuels and pedal. The sonates are: 1. E-flat major 2. c-minor 3. d-minor 4. e-minor 5. C-Major 6. G-Major It also includes the Pasacaglia in c-minor, and the beautiful pastoral in F-MAJOR. The book has clear print and nice sized measures. It also has a preface in the beginning.



2. This is a very unique book. The layout of the music makes it seem as if it has 2 books in One! ie. worth the money. The first half consists of the difficult Fantasia and Fugue in a- minor, a fugue in G-Major.The strange "Little Harmonic Labyrinth" (BACH'S ONLY!)a non-tonal peice. The frollicing Fuga et G-Major "JIG",Fugue in D-Major. A concerto in G-Major(571)and the one in Es (E-flat)Major.Trios in G,c,and G. Plus the Delightful Aria in F-Major. The "SECOND BOOK" consists of 18 questionable chorale preludes by Bach.
