5 comments about OnStage XCG4 Tripod Guitar Stand.
- I have not had the positive experience with the XCG4 that other reviewers on this site have had. There are two main problems:
1. The arms at the bottom of the stand which cradle the guitar from underneath swivel wildly and at the slightest touch. Just the act of removing the guitar from the stand can cause the lower arms to swivel out of place so that when I return the guitar to the stand, the lower arms are often turned the wrong way and unless I carefully turn the lower arms back to the correct position before placing the guitar back on the stand, my guitar is likely to go crashing to the floor.
2. The velveteen rubber padding wants to constantly slide off the upper arms leaving the guitar neck exposed to bare metal. The little plastic stoppers at the ends of the arms are supposed to prevent this from happening but when the padding starts to slide off, the stoppers offer little or no resistance and just pop out so I must constantly be pushing the padding back into position and pushing the stoppers back into the ends of the arms. And of course, with the stoppers constantly popping out and rolling across the floor, eventually and inevitably you will lose them, but that's OK because they don't do any good anyway.
- This guitar stand (for less than $10.00) is better than the $40.00 models I find at local music stores. It holds the instrument at the right angle and has padding in all the right places.
- Finally I can take the guitar out the box and have it on display in the house, its so handy, if i wanna play just grab and go. No more searching in the closet. Good product if you want decoration and convience.
- I like this stand very much it has the soft ends to hold your guitar nicely... though it says that this is for on stage stand but i use it at my home to keep the guitar..
i liked it very much and the it was and cheap price with free shipping..
- First guitar stand ever owned. Kind of a spontaneous buy, couldn't be happier. Gets the job done and doesn't take up any extra room in the house.

- Great service. The tapes came days before I expected them. They were just what I wanted. At a good price. Thanks.
- Hey, after reading all the other reviews, I had to get in on the action. Great price, great product!
- good product for the I did not find anything wrong with this tape. I already used 2 of them, and the quality of picture is also good.
- Tapes were shipped immediately after I purchased them. They were packaged very well, and I saw no damaged merchandise. Price per tape is the lowest I've found. Tapes record and playback with no apparent problems.
- Quality of this product has been uniformly positive. Made in Japan, as opposed to outsourced to another country, product is also competitively priced if one is willing to shop around. With free shipping, it's hard to beat when Amazon stocks and ships this product itself.

5 comments about Sony Ericsson USB Cable DCU-60.
- This cable works flawlessly with the Z750a. No additional software was needed(running Windows XP), just connected the phone to the computer and the phone automaticly gave options for me to select. Great product.
- This USB cable worked well with my laptop computer and sony cell phone. I use it to synchronize my cell phone and access the internet.
- I couldn't believe I'd find the cord I needed for my phone for that price. And it arrived quickly, too. Great experience all around.
- It's a data cable - and it works!
I bought this for use with my new AT&T Sony-Ericsson Z70a cell phone.
My only worry was that AT&T might have had Sony-Ericsson disable computer-USB functionality, but no, it's there and working all right.
It works great for downloading pictures+videos from the phone.
- Listing implies you will receive an OEM item. You will receive a generic item.
Item is listed as "Sony Ericsson USB Cable DCU-60." Link on listing page is "Other products by Sony Ericsson Mobile." Item pictured is of a "Sony Ericsson USB Cable DCU-60." Everything implies that item is OEM!
When contacted, seller's reply was "it was not advertised as an OEM cable." Seller suggested I return item for refund, The cost to return would exceed price of item.

- Very good product, at a very good price...fulfilled all my expectations...the professor chord is a very useful extra.
- I luv this tuner and use it all the time!!! It works great to tune my electric guitar. And fast. it also has many other usefull things in it. I highly recommend it!!!
- This thing is a really good deal for the price, so much more compact and accurate than my ancient LED tuner. I just love the chord lookup feature. There have been so many times when I discovered a new chord, but didn't know what it was. Although I still have to cycle through them with this device, it sure beats thumbing through reams of pages in my old Chord Book.
- I'm teaching myself to play guitar so I didn't have a clue on how to tune it. This product made it so easy to tune and the chord finder is nice to refer to.
- As a beginning guitar student, I found the chord finder and tuner both easy to use. The tuner can even "hear" the note from a few feet away.

5 comments about Blue Microphones Snowball USB Microphone Bundle.
- Have had the mic for two days (just long enough to not return to Guitar Center).
The good: It does just what I needed it to: it is truly easy, plug and play with Camtasia, and does not crash my Dell Latitude notebook. I needed a mic for a very specific application: I am recording training sessions and the trainer-speaker is across the country. Their voice is projecting via a LifeSize videoconferencing 'disc' and I am capturing their screen via Glance. I point this mic at the disc and the audio captured is quite decent. Is it better than a $20 desktop mic? Not sure... It's not superb, but it is OK.
The bad: I'm in a quiet room and you can hear so much AIR!!! I will probably have to do my final recordings with a blanket over myself, the mic, my computer, and the disc to get the sound to be more contained-sounding. My partner, hearing my voice recorded for the first time, couldn't tell that it was me. Then we did another test with my daughter in my lap. It seemed to like that--the variety of mother voice with daughter voice. Weird, go figure... but still, lots of "air" sound.
Trying to figure out how to turn down the amount of ambient noise it's attuned to... wish they'd had a unidirectional USB mic @ Guitar Center yesterday...
- I can't speak to the Windows experience, but I can assure you this little USB microphone gets the job done on the Mac. There's no white noise hiss and the recordings is plenty loud and warm. I use Wiretap for most of my recordings, but I don't need to do any post-production work to remove hiss or pop. Buy it.
- I purchased my Blue Snowball through a third party seller on amazon about a month ago, and I can honestly say that this is a great product. All three of its built in modes work great, especially the -10 db Cardioid, which is excellent for recording in noisier areas. I use it for amateur voice acting and narration on a variety of projects, and it has produced excellent quality recordings the entire time. Though, if anyone intends to use this for vocal recording, I suggest that they also acquire a popscreen, which can be found here on amazon, or can be built by hand with instructions here: http://jakeludington.com/project_studio/20050321_build_your_own_microphone_pop_screen.html
However, I would only recommend this to users whose computers use Windows XP or lower, since Vista compatibility with this product is unpredictable. Blue tech support has been less than diligent with the customers who wanted a fix for Vista, citing issues with USB compliant devices that Vista has had since it's release. There are gain updates that can make it work scattered across the internet, but I was never able to get them to work properly with my copy of Vista Home Premium. This would have been a deal breaker for me, except that after a year of struggling with it, I was fed up with Vista anyway, and downgraded. After that, the mic worked perfectly. Blue insists that its newer models support Vista, but I haven't encountered any corroborating evidence.
So, in summary, this is an excellent mic for anyone wanting to get into the Podcasting or VA fields, but be warned, it doesn't play nice with Vista.
- When I first received this mic,I had a laptop with XP. Very crisp and clear professional sound quality. I couldn't beleive my ears when I first heard such amazing quality. Unfortunately,my laptop had failed out on me in the beginning of this year s I was forced to buy another one (but this one I have has Vista). I heard alot of reviews on this site that this mic isn't compatible with Vista, but strangely when I plugged in this microphone into my comp it managed to work just as good as with my first computer. I heard from a friend that if you lower your screen resolution to 32 bits it'll work for Vista. I rate this product 2 solid thumbs up!:D
- I do radio interviews and use this mic when I edit interviews and put in my own script in my home (not at studio). Sound quality is excellent! You get clean, pure, FULL sound from your pc not that tin crappy sound from a pc mike. Use it now as a musician to record ideas to my pc. HIGHLY RECOMMED THIS MICROPHONE!

5 comments about Intel PWLA8391GT PRO/1000 GT PCI Network Adapter.
- This Intel NIC card works great under both Windows Vista 32 and 64-bit operating systems. I had purchased a NETGEAR network card prior to purchasing this and routinely ran into blue-screens and poor performance - this card performed significantly better. It's also priced attractively, so if you need a gigabit network card, then this is it.
- I'm fairly technical, and I tend to work with standard products that I know are reliable. Intel is one of the brands that I never have to worry about, whether it's an Intel motherboard or an Intel network adapter.
In this case, I had three of my systems being operated and maintained at an off-site facility, and I brought them back into my own facility. Some one of the maintenance guys at the off-site facility had swapped out my Intel adapter for a NetGear adapter on one of the systems (I have no idea why), and I didn't immediately notice the change. After having a tough time getting my system, high speed cable network, and DIR-655 router working together, I narrowed the problem to the system's network adapter.
I purchased the Intel PWLA8391GT from Amazon at a good price, received it in a timely fashion, and after installing it on my troubled system, everything worked well.
Intel makes good products. This is one of them.
- I installed this in a three year old Dell Dimension 9100 running Vista 32-bit Ultimate. It works great and the drivers installed automatically. My unofficial performance tests indicate that this card truly delivers gigabit transfer rates. I previously installed a TRENDnet Gigabit PCI Adapter in the same machine and I couldn't get the drivers to load properly. Considering the simplicity and minimal labor required to install this NIC, it was definitely worth a few extra bucks over the lower-cost brands.
- This is a must have if you have a giga network. The speed are phenomenal I honestly am happy with this I can finally stream HD/BD movies and move them across my network with in <15 min.. I choose Intel since I have trusted since it a good brand, even through expensive compared to others..The quality is great..
- Straight forward installation. Used it to build an ESXi box. Purchased 4 pieces all worked flawlessly. Highly Recommended it for anyone who is looking for something that cheap, reliable and gives good performance.

5 comments about Elixir Light Nanoweb Acoustic Guitar Strings.
- These strings are pretty amazing. I had gone many years without changing the strings on my guitar (they just held really well, and sounded great the whole time), but then a month or so ago I broke my G string (har har). I knew where I stood with electric guitar strings (which I break all the time), but I had never really had a reason to look into acoustic strings. I went to my friend, George, who is a local celebrity in the music scene, done a lot of recording, recorded two CD's which have sold very well for him, and who owns more and knows more about guitars than anyone I know, and he recommended these without missing a beat. I was annoyed by the price, but they have not disappointed in any respect. These strings are really easy on the fingers - very smooth and light. They are a little bright for my taste, but I think they'll warm up a bit as I break them in, and it might just be my guitar itself (which leans towards a lighter sound). I would recommend them to anyone who's not afraid to invest a little bit more in their strings. The cost has definitely been worth it, in my opinion.
- These strings are awesome. They are longer lasting and sound great.
I have one older guitar that has a muted sound with other strings I've tried. These strings bring out a better sound.
- Great sounding strings, but I don't suggest you get these if you play hard. My friend used my guitar for a show and asked what kind of strings I use. He said they were going to break. Elixir always breaks on him because he plays hard. Sure enough they broke. I play more lead type stuff and like to work the dynamics on the string/strum level as opposed to the amp/pedal level so the responsiveness of these strings are great for me.
- I've played with elixir strings since they first came out. I love the sound and the fact that they stay new for a long, long time. But it seems like about a year ago my g string started breaking way too early. I usually leave the strings on for about 3 months, but the g string has started breaking after about 1 month, or sometimes earlier depending on how much I play my acoustic. It breaks at the saddle and I make sure there are no burrs and that it's set up right, but it keeps breaking. I've talked to several other players in the area that have stopped using elixir for the same reason. If Elixir will get this fixed, I'll come back, but until then, I go with D'Addario DXR.
- These are the best strings available, a great sound and sound. I'd recommend them to anyone.

5 comments about Cables To Go - 43098 - 25ft HD15 M/M UXGA Monitor Cable with 3.5mm Audio (Black).
- Very stable and useful cable, and connector.
I used it to connect my computer to the TV.
This cable is perfect at what it does;
Also, it is a bargain. And it works well!
- the precise length of the audio cable (cable only, excluding the audio jack and the connector; 2 inches) is 12 inches.
The product is very good. One negative thing is that the cable is a bit heavier than I thought.
- After reading the previous useful reviews, I was concerned about the length of the audio cable - if it would be long enough to reach both the VGA and audio ports on my laptop, which are on opposite L/R sides. Well I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived - unlike the photo, it was long enough. I measured the audio cable at 23" long, not including the VGA and audio jack housings.
I've used the cable several times with no problems between my laptop and my 1080 flat screen TV and am pleased with this purchase.
- Bought this cable to connect a laptop to my new Sony Bravia 46" HDTV. Works great. Received quickly and in great shape.
- I purchased a new LCD, large screen TV recently. I found in the instructions that it was possible to connect my Laptop computer to the 15 pin TV connection. I checked locally at the electronic stores and found that the longest 15 pin wire was only 6' and also expensive. I checked Amazon and found this 25' wire "including" built-in connection for sound, was less that the 6'. I placed the computer across the room and out of the way and made the easy connection. Works great to watch downloaded items and pictures from my computer on a large screen. If you have the 15 pin connections on the TV and also laptop. I would recommend the connection. Very satisfied!!!

5 comments about Korg CA-40 Large Display Auto Chromatic Tuner.
- A great, little, simple, and accurate device. I like the metronome/tuner capabilities. Especially great for beginning/intermediate string players, as you can leave it on as you try your fingering for notes in new positions to determine the accuracy of your finger placement.
- This small tuner does an excellent job. The only place I have a problem tuning a celtic harp with it is the very highest notes (B6 and C7). Other than that it is a very well designed and well made tuner.
- I bought this tuner to replace my first tuner, a QuickTune which gave up the ghost after eight years, and my second, a Seiko that lasted almost that long. The Kung is better than either of the first two - needle movement more precise, and the display of the note is much more legible. BUY IT!
- I bought this for my ukulele and it works like a dream. Great price, great product.
- I bought one of these to help me tune my piano, which was about a half note flat across the entire keyboard. I followed a tutorial that recommended this brand of chromatic tuner. I used the tuner to help me fine-tune the middle C octave, then did most of the rest by ear (as recommended by the tutorial). The tuner worked very well and I liked the digital "needle" to help me visualize the notes. All in all, it took me about 3 hours to complete and my piano sounds a lot better now. This product did its job flawlessly.

5 comments about Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows Vista.
- I bought a new laptop and was trying to move a lot of things from my old computer. Finally, I bought the Easy Transfer cable and moved every thing in a couple of hours. It would have been better to start out with the Easy Transfer cable, as it complicates the process when some things are already moved...Anyways, the cable worked fine for moving things from my old XP computer to a new Vista computer. You need to take time in carefully selecting what you want move and be patient to be sure the process is fully completed. The speed of the transfer itself was very fast.
I did not have any of the problems mentioned in some of the reviews. My only "problem" was that I ended up moving a few things I had not intended to move. I would recommend the cable to anyone who needs to move a lot of material.
- This product was supposed to make it very easy to transfer files to a new Vista computer from one running XP. It failed totally--it started gathering information and then froze. Several attempts with the same result. Resorted to a FLASH drive and moved on. Total waste of money.
- The cable works fine - the software that comes with it (which is required) does not. It took me five calls to customer support before I could get to level 3, They fixed my problem in 15 minutes. But it took me a week to get to them!
Once they set up my system properly, the cable worked perfectly and very quickly.
- Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows Vista
I cannot say much as my usb slot in my old computer failed, but whenever it reposnded the cable worked well
there are however other cables(much cheaper) from Belkin to aid in transferring files from old XP computer to new Vista or xp or other compatable OS
Suman
- First Off, the system is picky about which computer is running the system and which is not when you set it up. It will spend minutes sending you back and forth between a tutorial 'I have the cable, how do I use it?' without getting to a menu cue that takes you to the next stage of file selection. It is almost better if you do it off a fresh boot.
Second, many downloaded files and programs off the Internet _do not_ transfer or even show up as transferrable. .pdf files. Free and Shareware games. Nothing with a copyright or transfer protection. Which is ludicrous on it's face (do it all over again) if not for the fact that many of my programs are so old that they are hard if not impossible to find anymore. This is particularly irritating for games where you have already paid a licensing fee.
Third, the system has a nasty tendency to crash, for no apparent reason. Looking over tech forum sites it appears that not all USB ports are created equal and the current density or parity values can cause the connection to break. What is infuriating is that this can vary anywhere from 2-4% for the front USB ports to 10-20% for the rear ports (and I have tried every possible combination inbetween) before a little flashing USB plug with a red X comes up to let you know that here and no farther shall you go. Of course, if you have left the machine on overnight and the little green light on the 'Belkin' cable system is still blinking when you see that the graph is stopped at less than 20%, you are apt to be of a very unpleasant disposition, given you left it at 15.
Utterly unfair and ridiculous given that 43 dollars for the cable plus whatever investment you have made in a brand new Vista machine have left you with no ability to move data, pictures, web pages or _legitimately download-owned software_ from machine to machine. It is almost a deliberate denial of useful user history in pursuit of excessively complex transfer systems and copyright protections: $$$$.
Why pay for multigig and terabyte drives if you cannot transfer entire user **entities**, complete with standing licenses, between units?
