5 comments about 12 FT Digital Audio Optical TOSLink Cable Optic 12ft.
- Looks like a TOSlink cable. Works like a TOSlink cable. Even at this price, it's safe to say it's a TOSlink cable. Spend more if you want, but why? 'Nuff said.
- You can easily spend 6-8 times as much for a 12' TOSLINK cable, but there is no good reason to do so. This cable works well and the signal is digital, so there is no improved performance to be had from the name brand cables.
- This is great toslink cable. The price was right and I highly recommend this cable to all. I would suggest bookmarking or adding the cable to your wish list and then watching the price. I was able to pick up the 12 ft cable for under $5 including shipping when the cable went on sale at BarginCell.com.
This was my first toslink cable purchase and the sound difference between RCA cables and toslink is awesome. The investment is well worth the payoff in sound reproduction on movies.
I highly recommend this cable to anyone looking for a low cost option for improving the sound in this theater or music system.
- i rely heavily on amazon reviews so i thought i should let it be known that this is a great item despite the low price!
- Used it on my old Harmon Kardon AV and the PS3 unit... Worked great... But I opted to get a new AV unit and I used the HDMI cables now.... Keeping the cable handy in case I need it once again...

5 comments about Roxio Toast 9 Titanium.
- All the options for making disks put this ahead of the pack. I used to settle for plain disk burning software not being aware of other options. Now I can compress files and use a minimum of disks. I can keep the quality high too. Besides saving files I've made the video self running on the dvd since some school pcs didn't want to fill their hard drive. It also makes pc/Mac compatible disks. A bonus is the sound mixer. I didn't notice it when I looked up the specs but I'm glad it's there. It's easy to make a few custom pieces even for a tone deaf person. Keep it up Roxio!
- Hooking up the Mac or PC to a tv is not so easy. I involves some interim connectors and even some paid services. I don't want to pay extra for streaming so this is the solution. I go from tivo to Mac/pc, then device or disc. The Windows version though doesn't have streaming. Good choice when I don't have time to convetrt or enough room on my touch ipod. Toast gives me another way to watch video. With the NFL kicking off already I know I'll be using it more. Saves me from being a couch potatoe. I can watch from while waiting on the train, the kid's appointments and so on.
- I purchased MyDVD 9 from Roxio and it failed to work properly. When I consulted their technical support the suggestions they made were based on Windows Vista (it took them over a week to get back to me). The only problem is that my OS is Windows XP which I spelled out very clearly in my initial e-mail request. When I tried to get my money back they said they would not return products that were not purchased directly from Roxio. Consequently, IF YOU BUY ROXIO PRODUCTS YOU CANNOT RETURN THEM!!!
- I had high hopes for this product to be able to transfer my collection of LP vinyls to CDs. I tried to use it years ago on my PC but gave it up for obvious (Windows) reasons. Finally on a Mac (Powerbook G4) I thought it would be a breeze. It has been anything but; starting with very poor documentation, and none whatsoever regarding "SpinDoctor" the part of Toast that deals with the transfer of analog to digital media. I have experienced not only constant crashes of the programs but unexpected and not so sporadic recording of distortion. The program itself has gotten "corrupted" becoming unusable and the solution, at least mine, has been to uninstall and then reinstall the software; that seems to solve the problem, at least temporary.
After having spend quite a bit of money on Roxio products, Windows version and now the Mac one, I expected more. I should have paid more attention to the reviews on all the forums about it that were more negative than positive.
- Great product that supports audio and video for MAC. A must for all who utilize audio, video recording and print their own CD/DVD Labels. Works without problems and is very easy to use. Vast improvement from Toast 7 and 8 versions.

5 comments about Panasonic MiniDV Tapes (Pack of 5).
- Video quality is great. I'm very satisfied with the tapes. There's not much else you can say about a MDV tape. I would buy again for $11.
- I bought the product for my camera and it worked out pretty well. I am not overly snooty about it and am not concerned with max quality or anything, it records well and does the job.
- I've gone through a few dozen of the Panasonic branded miniDV tapes and I have yet to have a single issue.
- I have been using these tapes for years (one time use though) and have never had any problems yet.
- I bought this tapes because of the extreme value. I use them in my dvx100b.
from my experience they function fine, except the occasional frame drop.

5 comments about Optical Cable 3 ft..
- I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this product.
I have been using standard analog hookups for my HD dvd player's Dolby Digital and DTS sound until I received this item. The cable is just like the seller describes on this Amazon page...3 foot fiber optic sound cable.
And well, I plugged it into my HD DVD player and into my DTS Receiver--the set up was instant. ONE CABLE for all 7 channels and when I plugged the first end into the HD player, the other end of the cable LIT UP with a little red light so it was easy to see where to hook up the other end in the receiver. The optical sound is its own flashlight basically--and as soon as both ends were plugged in, instantly, I had to turn the sound from my original settings at 10 decibels to 3 decibels, because the optic sound was blasting out my speakers. The cable itself is 3 feet long and about 1/2 inch thick, and it comes with the optical tips covered by a sturdy plastic cup guarding the tips till you can hook them up. The cable itself is strong enough to withstand long-term use unless you have children pulling out your cables constantly. But from what I have seen, I feel it will maintain for years to come.
Seriously, it is TRULY an AUDIBLE MIRACLE from standard connections. For a mere $4 dollars(shipping included, it was the best money I ever spent! I have never heard such GREAT sound before!!!I highly recommend this! In fact, I love it so much I sat right down and wrote this review not one minute after hooking it up!!!
- Ended up being too short and required repositing of my music system. Great price and comparable sound quality to brand-name cables for a fraction of the price.
- OK, you have been shopping for cables to finish off your new home theater system and time after time a salesperson tells you about MONSTER cables. Well, when it comes to HDMI or Red/Blue/Green component cables, getting something nice with gold fittings is the way to go but spending big bucks to buy the MONSTER brand name is way over rated. Search our some similar but way cheaper cables on Amazon.com. Now regarding these optical cables. Brand means nothing. Transferring a light signal is transferring a light signal. A gold fitting means squat. As long as the optical cable you buy delivers the light signal from a cable box to your TV or audio system, you good to go. Example, I purchased a MONSTER Cable on sale for $38 bucks before I saw this cable on Amazon.com. Glad Circuit City has a 30 return policy with receipt because I sure used it. Once my less then less than a buck optical cable arrived and I saw that it delivered a light signal just like the MONSTER cable with the MONSTER price did, I returned that overpriced cable faster than you can say jack rabbit. When installing your optical cable, look close at the shape of the fitting and the shape of the whole it goes in. Kinda trick to make sure you are placing it in correctly and push it in snug. Do not jam it in without lining up which side is up. Also, do not crimp the cable. You are dealing with fiber optics here so keep the cord from bending at a sharp able to keep your light passageway from getting blocked. ENJOY AND SAVE BIG BUCKS.
- If you only need a short optical cord, you can get this one for $3.00 with shipping and it works fine.
Why pay more?
- I purchased 5 of these with one of the multiple Toslink switches. They didn't work for me at all. I tried each one seperately and none of them worked with the switch. Even more frustrating, was the fact that only one out of five work at all with my 5.1 surround sound system. Then I thought, maybe the selector switch was bad. But after purchasing name brand 3ft optical cables from one of the superstores, I found that the switch works great. Problem solved. I threw these things in the trash. I paid about 45 times more for the name brand cables. It was more than worth it. DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!!

5 comments about Yamaha PKBB1 Single Braced Adjustable X-Style Keyboard Bench.
- It's light, it's portable, it doesn't shake when I sit on it. It's the right height, I don't get a backache. So, all good.
- This item was shipped quickly and is pretty easy to set up. We are delighted with it.
- Excellent value for this bench. Usually retails for about 29.99.Shipment was fast. Seat is quite comfy, cushiony, practical. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
- I have this bench with a Yamaha keyboard and the Yamaha double-x keyboard stand. The bench is small and doesn't take up much space, even folded out, which is great. When folded down, it's a little smaller but thicker than a fold-up chair. It's nicely padded and comfortable. My main complaint is that it only has 3 height settings, and the highest setting isn't high enough for me - I'm about 5'6" and at the highest setting, my elbows bend slightly upward when I'm at the keyboard, which makes it hard to keep straight wrists and curved hands without scrunching my shoulders (which gets uncomfortable and introduces a lot of tenseness in the playing). This bench is adequately stable for an adult who can touch the floor but is not stable enough for a young child who might want to climb or play on it (no way I'd let my 2 1/2 year old, who likes to "play" the keyboard, near this bench by himself). Also, at the highest setting, the legs at the bottom are close together, so the higher you set the bench, the less stable it is.
- I wasn't sure what to expect. But this sits me the right height, and lets me concentrate on the keys. I can spend a good hour or two without even noticing the chair at all.

5 comments about Phoenix Gold IEEE-1394 4-Pin/6-Pin FireWire Cable (2 Meters).
- I received a Ieee-1394 4-Pin/6-Pin Firewire Cable (2 Meters)But it was not a Phoenix Gold Cable. In fact i ordered another one and it turned out not to be a Phoenix Gold. Too much trouble to return them. They serve the purpose. They were just not what was advertised when i ordered them. I was disappointed they were not gold.
- the shipped product is not what you see (no gold plating), but considering the cost (including shipping) it does the trick... took forever to get here though....
- This is the best deal you will find on this product. Go to Best Buy or an electronics store and you will pay at least $25.00 for it. The price was too good to be true, but I got it in a couple of days, plugged it right in and it worked perfectly. It is so cheap the bulk of the cost is the shipping. Great deal, definitely worth the price.
- This works just fine to transfer video from my Panasonic DV camcorder to my PC and it was about $35 cheaper than the cord for sale at Best Buy. Great value!
- The cable works great but doesn't look like the picture. It came in black. This is fine unless you want the clear one for some reason. Good quality... I recommend it.

5 comments about Belkin F3U133-06 Pro Series Hi-Speed USB Cable (Six-Feet).
- Hard to beat the price on this item, needed USB cord for my Canon printer to hook up to new Dell PC with Vista. No problems at all, works fine.
- I had no idea what this cable was because I found it in my drawer one day, I thought it was the VCR cable and I tried to hook it up to the TV and VCR one day and nothing happened except the reception on my TV went bland and empty.
- Not much to say since it's just a USB cable. I ordered it, it arrived, and it works. I plugged one end into my computer and the other end into my printer and lo & behold I can now print things from my computer, just as you might expect. It does what it's supposed to do with no problems, so five stars. Too bad everything can't be that simple.
- This is just a high speed USB cable and is of Belkin's normal good quality. It does what it is suppose to do and the price is excellent.
- These cables seem to work quite well. I have no problems with them. They don't have a brand printed on them, but they seem to be of good quality and the price is good. Shipping was SSUPER quick!

5 comments about Tripp Lite U022-010 USB2.0 Certified Gold A/B Device Cable - 10ft.
- Using it to connect my printer and laptop. Does an excellent job. Good length. Sturdy cord and ends.
- I purchased the Tripp Lite gold end usb cable for my computer to printer connection. Very cheap price for this cable, but the quality is not, awesome product.I was a little skeptical about buying this, because for a 10 foot cable at a big name store would run about $26.00. Don't think twice, buy it,you will not be disappointed. I'm glad I did.
- This hooked one device to another, just as it is supposed to. It cost 20 dollars less than the same thing from a brick and mortar store. What else do you need to know?
- Be careful if ordering the advertised Tripp Lite U022-010 USB2.0 Certified Gold A/B Device Cable - 10ft from ClearAV.
That is certainly NOT what they sent to me. They are aware of the mistake in the listing but never contacted me before shipping my order to let me know that wasn't what I was getting.
- Great Cable! i originally bought a 7ft cable from staples for $22, i needed to get a Hard drive enclosure, and i needed more money to get free shipping, saw that USB cable and thought, great, i can save money (i returned the cable to staples) and get free shipping!
The cable works great too.

5 comments about 3.5mm Stereo Cable - 3ft..
- For the price, this little cable is perfect. It was hard to find a short cable with both connectors angled. The connectors fit well and the cable is thick enough to give confidence.
- As the previous reviewer wrote, a dual right-angle cable is hard to find.
I use it to connect stuff into my car stereo input and didn't want a long
cable hanging all over, or a white cable with my black interior.
Do you really think you are going to find something cheaper somewhere else?
It ended up being $2.50 including shipping, and works perfectly.
Highly recommended.
- I use this to attach a MP3 player to the car stereo. I don't need 6' to do that. It works just as well as the $15 cords at most stores.
- This is a perfect length for plugging your mp3 into the car stereo. The two 90 degree plugs can make messy cords a little neater if you need the angle to direct the cord. Don't waste money on high dollar cords, they all work the same :) .
- I purchased this for use with my Audiovox XMCK20P XPRESS-R XM Satellite Radio Receiver and Car Kit Combo -- it's the perfect length for an auto, and the right-angled plugs make it less conspicuous.
