1. I decided after reading about these guitars on the net, to try and build my own. (go to guitarattack for examples) Not the highest quality guitar but more than suitable as a starter build. The neck is in great shape, the frets are smooth and well seated. The body does have the worlds strongest sanding sealer on it. I sanded the sealer down so that it wasn't that thick. There were a few bubbles under the sealer that I had to fill after sanding it down. The body itself was three pieces of basswood glued together. I've read others claim 5 or 6 pieces on theirs but mine had 3. by the way don't be afraid of basswood, alot of $500 and $600 guitars use this wood. At the time of writing this I haven't fully built the guitar so I can't comment of sound and the electronics. I did a dry fit and all the holes lined up and the neck fit the pocket fine. You can find these cheaper elsewhere but I trust amazon and their partners more than ebay anyday. It did ship in a flimsy box but didn't have any damage.

1. This guitar is awsome, you just have to see it in person because this guitar shines. I mean, this guitar was mine before I bought. This guitar has great tone wheater you go for a deeper heavier sound or if you go for high pitch solos. I know the zebra (cream and black) pickups dont go well with the chrome thats already on the guitar and that's why I got some chrome seymour duncans which just makes this V literally SPARKLE. Now if you were to say "But it's not a Gibson!", just look at the reviews this guitar gets compared to Gibson Vs on musiciansfriend.com (they beat out most of the top line Gibsons!). I do however want to say this guitar is very heavy and has a bolt on neck. But, if you don't like those than go for a better Dean V like the Exotics or the USA editions, they both have neck through designs and are made of pure mahogany so you know it's light. But, if you're looking for a great guitar with a lot of potential than go with this guitar, IT'S SIMPLY THE BEST V FOR THE BUCK.

1. This guitar is a great guitar I still use it. It has a very good sound and looks really cool. I love this guitar and have never thought about getting a knew electric guitar. It also comes with a small but very loud and great sounding amp. I would suggest you buy a tuner because it goes out of tune every once in a while. But other than that it is a very good guitar.



2. I got this guitar for Christmas in 2003. I have played with it virtually nonstop (with a break for like half a year when my teacher died) and now I am back. I know a lot of songs. The guitar is great, and sounds great, for begginer. Unfortunately my tremolo bar messed up the inside so I can't use it anymore, but I don't mind too much. Plus the amp sucks, especially when using pedals or playing live. It's all right for home practice though. If this is your first guitar, go for it! If not, look into something more advanced.



3. This we bought for our oldest son 3 years ago. It really has a nice sound to it and the combination of the amp and guitar for the price is perfect!! It has really held up from daily playing.



4. This is the same package that I used for my first guitar, and it's pretty reliable, with a good pedal and an amp it can actually perform very well. Beware however, that you don't leave the guitar sitting (on a chair or something) with the cord still in! I just had the plate around the jack crack. Nothing serious, but a big annoyance.
   
   
   Overall a very good product.



5. Nice setup for the price. Teenage son learning to play and loves it. I love the fact that it can be played softly too!

1. I have had my KH 202 for about four months now, and I have been very happy with it. It is a great looking instrument, and has a very balanced feel. The skull inlays are very eye-catching, and really give it that metal edge. The action was adjusted perfectly from the factory. Low and fast, easy to play. The licensed Floyd Rose trem works beautifully, and stays in tune better than my Dean hardtail. The EMG designed pickups have a good sound and tone range. I'm going to update them with a hotter passive EMG H4/H4A pair in the near future. If you are a Kirk Hammett or Metallica fan, this is your ticket for under 500 dollars. Even if you aren't, you will not be disappointed with this guitar.
