- Sounds great, looks hott, comes w/3 pick, and a signed certificate of authenticity. this is a great guitar to play. i love the sound of it. its worth every penny and then some
- It's not much... worth $100 to hang on the wall, but if you're looking for something to actually play, get something else.
- This guitar has a tone similar to the SG special. Its great for classic Heavy Metal. I have played many guitars over the years, but few as comfortable as this. The body has the best shape ever with cut aways on top for your strumming arm. great for blistering leads, an excellent buy.
- I got this guitar from Target about a year ago for $200. It definitely is a head turner... nothing but complements on its appearance. I have been playing guitar for about 2 years, and it seems like good quality to me. I plug it into a line6 amp that has lots of effects, so the sound is whatever i want it to be from clean to intense.
It did come with a strap, but i didn't really like that. Also put new strings on it. I could care less about Def Leopard, and their autograph, but the look of the guitar is what sold me. And it sounds great to me.
I hope it goes up in value, im glad i got it when I did.

- this guitar is amazing for $100 it looks and plays like a 300 dollar guitar because it is one kramer a fairly popular brand in the 80s(eddie van halen had 1) are back in buisness this guitar is a 300 dollar refurbished guitar being sold for 100! it has great action and a nice buzz free sound the neck the body everything seems quality built its humbucker sounds great playing metal it stays in tune well it has a nice finish on the black and white model and its nicer than my ibanez s series i paid 220 for ive never seen a 100 dollar guitar this nice or even 200
- This was my first guitar and for the price, it blows any other Strat copy away. But that is not to say it is without it's problems; fret buzz is a bit of a problem and is diffucult to solve even by raising the action and adjusting the truss rod, the lower tone pot is useless but this is case on most inexpensive guitars of this style, and finally the guitar has trouble staying in tune, this can be solved by adding locking tuners or if your are gung-ho about this axe a locking tremolo. The pickups sound great, the guitar is not that heavy, and the finish (mine was sunburst) was beautiful, if you are looking for a first guitar, overlook the Squiers and other cheap guitars and cut your teeth on this axe.
- for 99 bucks your get areally nice looking playing guitar with nice action good sounding pickups and it seems pretty sturdy i didnt give it 5 stars because 1 of the neck pickups doesnt work but i had problems with fed ex getting my order lost so i blame it on that if you get yours with the neck pickup working u just got a great heavy metal guitar similar to other brands guitars that cost 200-300 dollars onnly its 99 bucks a steal
- i've owned a kramer for about 6 or 7 years and it's still in top condition even though i play it nearly every day. also, it's the only guitar i own. great guitar for such a low price.
- The price of this Fatboy is great, for a hundred dollars I wasnt expecting much, but then when it was delivered I took it out and felt how light it was, the beautiful laquer finish (in red and white for me) and I started playing, then I realized why the box said "Kramer: Born to Rock Hard" It has a nice meaty sound to it, guess that's why they called it fat boy, Have'nt had any problems with it staying in tune or anything but there are two things that have been negatives for me. Number one my tremolo nut (the one that you screw the bar in to) is split and will not hold my tremolo still for anything, my other complaint would be the fret buzz. Other than that buy it.

- From unpacking to soaking my fingers after 4 hours of breaking this baby in, it ROCKS. I've had Epi's through the years and this one beats the older Les and SG models I've played. Pickups scream, sweet neck with low action. If you use a death or grunge box along with it I suggest cranking the amps to 12.
Was going to purchase from Musicians Friend but gave the sponsored link from Sweetwater music store a shot. The guys are great to deal with, and all former musicians. I'll be doing more biz with them, awesome customer service.
- "T" wasnt lying about the pickups, the do indeed scream. The more I play it, the more i like it. Plain and simple, it looks, feels and sounds great. Previous to this guitar i have been playing my dad's Gibson Les Paul Recording... Tonally I am not noticing much difference. Honestly I think if i switched to higher gauge strings like that which are on my dads LP, my guitar would sound virtually the same. I'm not the sharpest tack in the box when it comes to the nitty gritty details of guitars/pickups/overall tone, but i wasnt expecting my Epi to sound so close to an actual Gibson LP.
If it helps paint the picture, I play a lot of Tool... and the solo from Rossetta Stoned sounds perfect on this guitar. It's no Silverburst, but you sure as hell can ballpark it.
The only downfall i have found about this guitar is that it does have somewhat limited access to the extreme upper frets. I cant really play too far past the 20th fret. But thats it, i am otherwise 100% satisfied.

- This is probably the closest thing to a real electric guitar for my 8 year old at a much more reasonable price. It comes with an amplifier, extra strings and picks and sounds terrific. It is sturdy and I can tell will last much longer than the cheaper 19.95 toy guitars of which my son has gone through a bout 3 already.
Only problem is it does not come with the cord to connect the guitar with the amplifier which you'll need to buy separately. Not a big deal.
