- I also had problems with these staying on my Porter Cable Sander. These are the first I've had come off since I've had the sander(at least three years). I was going to order a new base but I guess I should try another brand first.
- Never had a problem with the pads staying on. My sander is just under a year old so I suspect that over the years the base pad may wear down if there are problems with the Sandpaper staying attached.
- This paper works great on my Porter Cable sander; it stays put, and it really holds up to a lot of use. Like others, I find myself changing grit before the paper wears out, so I end up with a stack of still useable paper. Good paper, good price.
- The hardware stores all sell packages of the same grit. Getting a large assortment pack of paper was great. I also like that it has 5 holes like my sander. A lot of paper has a bunch of holes to fit multiple sanders. Mirka sandpaper always lasts longer than others.
- This is great sand paper, well bonded and lasts a long time. The box I purchased will probably last for a couple of years. I'm using a Porter Cable sander and the paper never slips on the mount.

5 comments about DEWALT DW7353 Chip Collection Accessory for DW735 Planer.
- Or perhaps I should say..Controls the Dust blows from the Dewalt Thickness Planner. If one makes sure the bag is tight it works well and you guys got it here quicker and more effeciently than ANYTHING else I've ordered from Delta/Porta Cable/Dewalt. Thanks for the attentive service
- This product is really good if you don't have a powered dust collector. I have my shop in the garage and have so many tools, that I usually have to move things onto the driveway to work. I have tried using a shop vac with this planer, but it blows harder than the vac sucks. With this item, I simply hook it up to the machine, move a spare metal trash can close, and put the bag part over the can. It still produces dust, but nothing like with the shop vac.
- Most useful accessory I have purchased for my shop in years. If you do not have a vacuum system in your shop, the Chip Collection Accessory is a must have.
The chip blower on the DeWalt DW735 planer is powerful enough to direct the chip through the 10 foot plastic hose and into whatever receptacle you secure the fabric hood over. I use a 30 gal plastic garbage can. The draw string secures around the outside of the rim of the garbage can. 95% of the chips are collected directly in the garbage when you operate the planer.
The only negative thing is that with the draw string attaching to the rim of the garbage can, there are some chips that will collect between the outside of the rim and the fabric hood. When you take the hood off, these chips will fall directly on the floor at the base of the garbage can but they are all around the garbage can and makes clean up easier.
As the ground wire connects directly to the DW735 planer making removing the hood a bit more complicated, I crimped a spade type connector onto the end of the wire. When I want to remove the Chip Collector, I simply unplug the ground wire from the DW735 and release the locking collar ring from the planer discharge port.
Good value product. I would definitely recommend this accessory.
- The hood works well with a 30 gal trash can but a 55 gal drum would work better if your doing quite a bit of work. Putting a rope over a beam and raising the flex tube in a U shape help's also. I'm happy with the way it work's and on a scale of 1 to 10, I give it an 8 as there is some fine dust that come's through the cloth.
- PROS:
Having used several other planers, the DeWalt 735 is a real winner. I have 3 of these units. I placed the planers on a Rubbermaid carts & slid 30 gal trash cans below (bottom shelf). What a blessing - to plane & not have dust / chips flying everywhere. Thess planers are super & super easy to use (& change blades).
CONS:
The draw string doesn't grip sufficiently. But, adding a ratcheting strap clamp solves that problem.

5 comments about EZ Stacker Wood Crib.
- It took me about fifteen minutes to assemble my rack, including cutting the 2x4s to length. Once built, it is pretty sturdy.
- I'm not sure how this could be any easier. It's just the thing for storing wood without sending a lot of money.
- I have used these for about 10 years and highly recommend them. I use them to set up "temporary" woodpiles on my screen porch each fall. I dismantle them each spring when the outdoor furniture goes in that area.
I like these because they are easy to assemble and easy to disassemble. They are remarkably sturdy considering that they are constructed of plastic. For my permanent woodpiles, I use the galvanized corners made by Simpson (RTC24). They are more sturdy, but the wood must be screwed to the corners.
- The EZ stackers are easy to use and set up..I have the maximum size set up (4x8) and it is full of wood... No screws or nails used. Didn't think it would be stable, but is surprisingly so. Great deal for the cost! The brackets can be easily stored so I can take it down next spring.
- Was delivered very fast and was exactly what the description said it would be. Very pleased.

5 comments about DEWALT D6100 Heavy Duty Ballistic Nylon Tool Bag.
- Like one reviewer stated, this bag is more like a tool box than a tool bag. I've used mine to carry all sorts of different gear and tools, quickly throwing whatever I needed for the job into the bag, hooking on the shoulder strap, and heading out the door.
I work in an environment where I am able to have a permanent "tool cage" and similar rolling cases to store my tools in the shop, but I often need to grab a few tools and head off to a job somewhere. This is where these bags come in. I fill them with whatever I need, and off I go. I know this sounds like a task for any old bag, but these tough bags withstand the weight and beating of heavy use without flinching.
I know one reviewer complained about not being able to stand up his drills, but if that were a concern to me, I'd transport them in the original DeWalt hard plastic case. I'm usually in such a hurry that I need something big and reliable to throw my stuff in but not so big that I can't move it.
I also own one of the smaller version of this bag, the DeWalt D6050 (ASIN B0006JKUSW) that I use for a permanent collection of basic hand tools I keep in it at all times. Given the minimal price difference between the two, I could have opted for another D6100, but the smaller model prevents me from overloading it to the point where I would break before the bag!
This is a great bag for any on-the-go pro!
- Great bag, exactly what I was looking for. I liked it enough to purchase two.
- This tool bag DEWALT D6050 17-Inch Ballistic Nylon Tool Bagis a perfect replacement for the factory supplied plastic storage container that is supplied with the 36-volt DeWalt combo-kit, which has the charger, light, hammerdrill, circular and, reciprocating saws. The factory supplied storage box was found to be low quality when compared to the cost of this combo set. Also, trying to put all tools back into the storage container and be able to close it is next to impossible. All tools fit nicely in this tool bag, and, are very easily put back in and completely closed when finished these tools.
- This tool bag is not big enough. I wanted to get 2 or 3 of them and store my 18 volt set in them. This bag is not big enough to put one Dewalt cordless finish nailer in it. The height of the bag won't accommodate a normal sized screwdriver or channel-locks to be stored vertically in the pockets with the lid closed. The interior and outside pockets are too blousey. They should build a larger, foot locker type version with the same hard-sided/bag idea, but actually make it usable.
I returned this.
- This tool bag was for my son who is an electrician. He had the same bag before, but due to wear and tear it was not in very good condition. It only lasted 10 years. When I saw this bag on your website he asked me to order it for him and he is very satisfied.

5 comments about Bench Dog 10-010 Crown-Cut Crown Molding Cutting Jig.
- First and foremost, I do not work for this co. I am usually skeptical about reviews.
I've done a lot of Home Improvement projects. I will tell you that cutting crown molding is a pain in the brain. If you want a quality look this helps to situate the molding in the proper position. You won't have to use those ugly corner pieces that are like $5-10 a piece and look cheesey.
After wasting about $100 in molding I researched and found this...It works. FYI-By the way when cutting molding, I would highly reccomend that when placing try to place on the wall as one piece.
- Excellent tool. Helps you ascend the learning curve very rapidly. If you are hanging crown yourself, this is a must buy. Costs 10 bucks more than the Rockler version but I think this is a better tool.
- It's one of a few of the good DIY'ers remedies to cutting crown moulding. I only wish that it would be able to hold the moulding tighter once it is in the device. Perhaps if the bench Dog's 10-010's "fence risers" and "crown stop" had some softer rubber attached to them or were made of softer rubber in general it would hold the moulding much better in place than what it does.
- Boy, is this thing expensive! A friend gave me his after he completed his remodeling project and I find that it is a nice jig. It makes cutting crown molding easier. I can image that it would really help a novice.
The real advantage to this jig is the ability to re-set it for different molding. But if you are just cutting just one or two different sizes of molding, I suggest that you make a box out of some scrap plywood. It shouldn't take much more than 10-15 minutes if you have a table saw. You'll save $40 and can then take your significant other out for dinner.
As another reviewer suggested, attach this jig to the saw so it doesn't move. I used heavy duty double-stick tape with great results.
- Crown molding is confusing, this set up helped though my angles still didn't meet up...but I was so close. I'll blame it on the miter saw.

1 comments about Youngstown Equipment Co 03-3060-80-L General Utility Plus Performance Glove Large, Black.
- I don't know where I got my first pair of these gloves, but I don't like any others besides these. I've been doing a lot of renovation work from framing, tiling, drywall, siding, flooring, etc... These gloves work well for all applications. The palms and fingers have the reinforced material, and the back is just stretchy material. I never feel as though my hands get hot or sweaty. I can wear them all day and forget I've got them on. I've worn out several pair through general mistreatment, but I have to buy more. I've tried the HomeDepot versions, Lowes versions, and general cheap kinds. These are better than all those put together. The fit is great. Like another reviewer stated, they're are hard to find locally, and they are kind of pricey for gloves, but I think they are worth it.

1 comments about Fein 63903205015 Convex Knife for Multimaster.
- Of the multitude of tools that come with the Multi Master, in my opinion this is one that should be included. Razor sharp and extremely durable. I have cut garden hose, a 10 sheet thick owners manual (cut out the spanish/french portion, a leather belt I needed to trim (lost weight :-) and I cut a thick piece of cardboard to make a template and it handled all of these items like a hot knife through butter. The size of the blade is just right.
You can but this item with confidence.

5 comments about Makita LS1214FL 15 Amp 12-Inch Dual Bevel Compound Sliding Miter Saw with Laser and Fluorescent Light.
- In my thirty years of carpentry this is the most precise and smoothest operating saw I have ever used.
- This saw is amazing. It makes precision cuts. the stock blade works extremely well when cutting crown molding. Don't make a mistake and buy a Dewalt!
- THis is a sweet saw until it broke. The fence shattered in three different places within a few days of opening the box. Customer service was not concerned that their components did not stand up to regular use. The parts had quality i would expect of an inferior tool manufacturer.
- I have never owned this saw but I have used it quite a few times. I has plenty of power. I found it a little hard to move around and to adjust the settings.
- Very good saw. Solidly built, easy to use, and received high ratings as best miter saw in this size. Only 2 issues: the saw was shipped with a defective handle and trigger switch (quality control?) and that was resolved to my satisfaction. Second is the saw is quite heavy and large so not easy to carry around.

5 comments about All in One Clamp A-36 36-Inch Grip Clamp Guide with T-Track.
- I have started saving atleast 10 mins on every straight cut. Routing is made so easy with this wonderful little gem. Lay it over, clamp it and forget about it until the cut is complete. This is great for small projects, if you need to cut the 4x8 sheets, I would recommend the 50" clamp.
- I really like this straight edge/clamp system! I purchased a 36", a 50" and the 99" wide model. The 50 and 90 are perfect to rip a 4X8 sheet of plywood. I purchased th 36" for smaller jobs using the router and powered hand saw. Using this clamp guide is quick and easy and reliable. They provide a dead on straight guide.
Make sure you use the narrower models as a guide and not put a lot of side pressure on them or they will bow ever so slightly. One the wider model this is not an issue.
The reason for the 4 stars? This one didn't work right out of the box. Nothing appeared damaged or out of place. I check it all over very carefully and it just never got a grip. So maybe I got lemon but there is something wrong or missing, or in the quality control in the 36" model. It just didn't work. Thus the 4 stars. It has been returned.
Update:
The replacement arrived and it works just fine, I really like these clamps and find a variety of ways to use.
- I use this frequently. Originally bought to trim about a dozen doors, I've found it is the handiest cutting guide I have. Be careful that you have the toggle handle in the right position when you snug the guide up (in other words, before you flip it tight). If it's out of position, you'll think it's tight when you flip the handle, but it will slip. Do it right and it holds perfectly.
- It does everything I ask of it, but not always square upon setup. Check for square before the cut. I'd buy it again.
- This is one of the best clamps/straight edge that I have ever purchased. I use it mostly for a Saw/Router guide. I wish I would have had them years ago. Anyone who has trouble setting up or using one of these SHOULD NOT BE AROUND POWER TOOLS OR IN A WOODWORKING SHOP.

5 comments about Skil 92942 FlexCharge 3.6-Volt Stick Style 3 Hour Battery Charger.
- It is doing what it's supposed to do, charge batteries. It might be a good idea to unplug it when not in use. It should last longer.
- I tried not to believe other reviews but ended up wasting my money. If I could give a negative number of stars I would. I went through two of these chargers before I learned my lesson. Bite the bullet, throw out the tools that use this battery and update your workshop. Trying to continue using this battery system is useless and dangerous.
- Battery is equal in performance to the original battery that came with the Skil Stick Style Drill. The first charger I ordered through Amazon burned-out the first time I used it. This is the second charger I purchased which works fine. I had bought two new batteries to use with the charger. The first charger may have burned-out because I tried to recharge the original batteries which were dead.
- I bought the charger as my old one died. The new one only last a week and then died, but I was able to get a replacement. I read one of the previous review that old battery might cause the charge to over heat and die. So I bought two new batteries with the new charger. It seems it is working. If it dies again, I will buy another powertool of different brand.
- I've been using my FlexCharge drill and screwdriver systems for many years and really love them. Even though I must shell out big bucks every few years to replace my higher voltage combo systems, I keep these little guys around since they are really handy and convenient for all the small jobs. When both my chargers stopped working simultaneously, I ordered another one which also immediately failed. Oops! Apparently one of the batteries was shorted and was blitzing the chargers. Since I could not determine which one was the bad guy, I had to replace both and buy another charger. So, the downside is that these chargers have no self-protection against a shorted battery. If your charger dies, check the transformer and if it appears deformed, it was overheated and you need to replace both the charger and the batteries. Fortunately, Amazon still has both available at reasonable prices. I've stocked up on both and even bought a spare drill and driver for when replacements are no longer available.
