1. Although it claims to fit "All Sears" Routers, there are no hole sets for the Sears Professional Series Routers, which have a four screw configuration, as opposed to three for the smaller Craftsman routers.

   Otherwise, it's an OK product. The bushings are steel, and the baseplate is plastic.

1. This level is good quality and doesn't have end caps to fall off, as they sometimes do on longer Stanley Fatmax levels. The "180 Degree Rotating Vial For Duplicating Angles" has a very good resistance to moving. It's neither too loose nor tight; it stays put and it's easy to read. Unfortunately, that vial's dial frame extends out by 1/16" on both sides of the level. I.e., the level is 1/8" wider at the dial location then at the rest of the level. This prevents that end of the level from laying flat against a wall. For some of my applications, such as leveling a thin bracket attached to a wall, that's a fatal flaw. If that won't be an issue for your projects, such as leveling steel pipes, this tool would be a good choice.

1. This is a very good sander, and I would expect that from Porter Cable, however, to get five stars from me, they better make a case, I will keep it in the PC box that it came in, but that won't last long because it is cardboard.
   
   Very well made machine, works great!!



2. This was my first time using this sander and I must say I was very happy with its performance. The sander was easy to control and had pleanty of power. If you have edge sanding to do, and you can't bring the project to the sander because of it's size, this sander is the ticket. I couldn't have finished my project with out it.



3. If you want to use it like a benchtop spindle sander for small pieces, turn it upside down and clamp it to a couple of sawhorses.



4. Delta 31-781 Sanding Spindle Set for 31-780 B.O.S.S. Spindle Sander
   This sander comes with one 2" diameter spindle. If you need other sizes you must buy them (follow link above) . This spindle set is for the Delta BOSS but it fits the PC sander as well .The set includes some some table inserts and a couple of plastic parts holders. $65 is too much for the 5 sections of rubber tube (spindles) that should be included with the machine.
   The machine is great for sanding large irregular sheets of plywood in preparation for edge tape. You can maintain a square edge (90 deg.to the face )
   Get 50 or 80 grit for plywood edges,150 and 120 grit are too slow.
   The dust pick is built into the base. It captures maybe 70% of the dust generated when connected to a dust collector or vacuum. The 1" vacuum hose is not included either.



5. This is a great idea for anyone with limited space or not.
   I rate the tool as sold. Yes it should have a case and yes it should come with all the different drums. Get over it because they are not included.
   The tool is very easy to use and the vacuum attachment works great.
   One thing I would like to see porter cable make the router table plates for other router table tops.
   
   Update: Benchdog did carry a router table plate so I could mount the sander in my router table. I also found it is much easier and cheaper to buy the 9" sanding tubes and cut them in half.

   its perfect for tight access sanding and fitting of parts.




2. I've had one of these little sanders for about 15 years.
   
   It's a very specialized tool, and in my case, there haven't been many uses for it - however, when only a small belt sander will do the trick, this tool has worked well, without any problems.
   
   It's light, safe to use, has plenty of power, changing belts is simple and fast, the handle for your left hand greatly aids in tool control, and overall, is well designed. The only feature mine lacks is variable speed, which the newer sanders have.
   
   Even though the belt is narrow, it can throw off lots of dust, so consider using it outside (if possible), or use a respirator. It isn't a good choice for sanding flat wood much wider than an inch, since it's difficult to not leave groove marks at the belt edges.



3. I've been using this sander for many many years now. In fact I have 3 of them in my shop. Of course I bought them from Amazon.
   
   Only thing you have to do to maintain this great tool is to change bearing. You can get them from Makita or many other on-line part shop.



4. small lite wieght sander that go and do more than any other sander. Has plenty of power to remove material and help in shaping wood. Just seams to send dust flying everywhere. If it had dust collection it would definetly deserve 5 stars, but then again if it had dust collection it would just get in the way.

1. I ordered several Delta band saw blades when I got my new band saw. I thought, how bad can they be? Well, really bad is the answer. All of them. Cutting 3/4" hard wood was like cutting steel. I got some blades from another vender and it made a world of difference. Don't waste money on Delta blades. Zero would be a better rating.



2. Have been using the blades I received with my used bandsaw. First new one I ever bought. I now know what I have been missing.

1. This stuff is great it really does reduce friction as they claim.It is not greasy but,be careful to not over apply or it will stain your project.This stuff is rather spendy but in my opinion well worth it.Not only is it a lubricant but I use it as a rust inhibitor while my blades and bits sit idle.They are protected and ready to roll when I need them.Even if you tried to wipe this stuff off it would STILL be on the blade.If you are considering this product dont think twice. Now get out there and lubricate something.



2. I have been using the Bostik Dri-Cote on many of my bits and cutters for the last six months. It makes a significant difference in the speed and ease of drilling and cutting, especially when I am using large bits and cutters such as Forstner bits and raised panel router bits. It also does not stain any of the woods I have used it on so far. My only complaint is that there is much waste when I spray it on. I often have to wipe off the drips.



3. I have used this on my saw blades and cutters for about five years now.Not only does it improve the cut, but prevents buildup of pitch and resin on the blade surface. I spray it on the blade surface before and sometimes during use. I don't bother to wipe off any excess, it doesn't affect the cut. This stuff is especially helpful on the small bandsaw blades (3/16), I use for cutting out bandsaw box's, I can definitly tell the difference in the tight radius cuts. I also use it extensively on my Freud thin kerf saw blades, it seems to help the blades run cooler and I get less "burning" in the hardwoods I typically use. This is a real good product and I would recommend it to everyone who values their expensive cutting edges.

1. This unit works as advertised and arrived on time in perfect condition. Lost 1 star because it gets noisy and a vibrates at max speed. Overall highly recommended. Would suggest 2 people to ceiling mount this though it is possible for one person with some creativity (think ropes and pulleys).



2. For the price, this unit is a good buy. I do a lot of fine sanding of exotic woods on my lathe (220 to 400 grit) and this filter has eliminated a lot of the sawdust "drift" from my workshop. It has good airflow although there seems to be some leakage around the primary filter when it's loaded. I put a telltale on the exhaust and it doen't seem to indicate a drop in airflow when the filter is obviously clogged. You can clean the filter easily with a shop vac, just don't forget to do it frequently.



3. This filter was installed in a basement workshop and suspended from the flooring beams above by chains. There is no noticeable vibration and the noise, even at high speed, does not bother the wife in the upstairs area. I was able to get it in place by myself, but this is best accomplished by two people. It moves a lot of air, and so far, after only a month of service, I'm pleased with the unit.



4. The air cleaner works well. I especially like the timer, it can be set to run for 1/2 hour or longer and then shut off automatically. I set the timer to better clean the air after doing some work and do not have to return to shut the cleaner down.
   
   The gage on the side of the unit is supposed to show when the filters are getting clogged. I do not think it is very accurate because new out of the box the gage shows that the cleaner almost needs a filter change.
   
   I almost did not buy the unit because of comments about damage occuring in shipping. Thankfully my cleaner was not damaged at all.



5. I was really excited to get this but it arrived defective. The box was fine. No dings from UPS but the fan was out of kilter and rubbed the side of the housing. My carpenter tried to fix it but it was too far gone to address. Delta seems to really have some quality issues. I put into amazon for a relplacement and will try one more time. I really like the concept but I need the unit to work. The replacement process with amazon was very easy to do online.

1. These were much better then I expected, they came well oiled with no rust and very sharp so worked great on forming my guitar. I would buy from this seller again.



2. These miniature spokeshaves are exactly what I need. Great for shaving miniscule amounts of wood. Arrived nice and sharp so could be used straight out of the box.



3. I ordered the small bronze spokeshave set for quick shaping of furniture parts, where smaller detail tools are
   necessary. The tools arrived quickly, were finely made, and sharpen easily. They hold an edge well on walnut.
   I also got a great catalog of other wood working tools. I like this outfit and will be ordering more stuff.
   Deifenbacher Tools is a great outfit to do business with. They carry top brands from Germany, and have a
   big selection IN STOCK.
   I would also recommend this set of spokeshaves to gunsmiths, or anybody who makes wooden gunstocks.
   Small sharp radius curves are no problem, with clean across-the-grain cuts.
