1. I had been buying sandpapers from Home depot and Lowes. They're selling different brand names but more expensive but crappy. I bought this from Amazon.com at cheaper price and but work 10 times better. Thanks Amazon.com for selling good stuffs.

1. It's a simple tool and it works but it holds the bit too tightly. It's a struggle to get the bit back out.



2. It was great when I first got it. I had lost the magnetic bit holder that came with the B&D set I had. Fortunately, I found it again. Because this holder trapped a bit and would not release it. I could not get it out. Period. The metal tab along the top inside edge of the holder trapped several bits but I had always managed to get them out. Not this time. I put it in a bench vice and used every handtool known to man and it would not budge. Pass on it. Find another one. B&D even. There are no tabs to trap bits in theirs (truly magnetic and not compression).

1. I've never had an easier time keeping up with sharpening my assortment of chip carving knives and now I use these on my regular carving gouges too. Provide a superb edge and are easy to clean after extended sharpening sessions. I really like not having to use oil or water for a lubricant. Not needed with these stones. Makes life a bit simplier and speeds up the sharpening process too!



2. These stones seem to be of excellent quality. It will be interesting to see how they hold up over time. At first blush, they look great

1. 
   I bought this unit partly because I saw that I could purchase disposable filters at the local store the same size as Jet says they are 1x12x24. Well jet's filter is actually a half inch smaller in each direction as a normal filter is. In other words a standard filter of the same size doesn't fit. Not sure what I'm going to do at this point, probably will fabricate a transition frame to hold the"bigger" standard size. Jet wants $15 for their filter and the local store wants $4 for the standard size. I take this unit to job sites to help keep the customers house cleaner.



2. I have found this filter to do a great job. My shop now has much less dust. However, I have found the sales pitch (buy them cheaply at your local hardware store) on the outer filter replacement to be disengenuous at best. The filter has the nominal size of 12 x 24 printed on it but in reality it is 1/2 inch smaller on both dimensions. So now I am locked into paying Jet's exorbitant price to replace - at least 3x that of a similar size filter. I thought about giving it 3 stars for this mislabeling but it does keep the air much clearer.

1. The countersinks cut very clean without a lot of tearout.It handles most screws you would ever use and everything stores in a quality case. The only improvement I would like to see is an allen wrench built into the bottom of the bit holder for adjusting bit depth.



2. the weak bits...the cutter are excellent, but the bits break easy. I replaced them with some irwins and use the cutter and the quick change ...good but just beware the drill bits

1. I had been stubbornly using an awl or an eyeball to center my holes until I finally broke down and bought one of these. I had a couple of doors to hang so I figured about 20¢ per hole to get it right. The Vix sure makes it easy to do things right. Those doors actually LOOK like they were hung by a sober man.



2. Vix-Bits are one of those things that once you use you wonder why you waited so long to get them. Great on-center holes each time. These genuine Vix-Bits appear to be better made than the Chinese or Taiwanese clones that some companies sell.



3. i highly recomend this bit, it makes a hinge mounting a breeze.
   great quality.



4. This product works as advertised. It has been around for years and is an A performer. It is uniquely qualified to do what it does. If you are a person who takes pride in doing the best job you know how to do then this product is for you.
