5 comments about Plastair SpringHose 75-Foot Coiled Water Hose, Ocean Blue #PUW675B93OT.
- Hose gives decent pressure for watering plants and coils back for storage nicely.
The hose burst in two a little over a year after it went into use. Plastair customer support was quick to reply to my warranty inquiry and told me to contact Amazon for a replacement. The Amazon representative sent out a new hose (although she said it was not std. policy to do so).
- I love this idea. It reaches really far. Only problem is it gets tangled but I still prefer it to rolling a hose in.
- I take care of flower boxes at a rural post office where I can not leave a hose pipe. I had been carrying water in milk jugs everyday. After finding a hidden water faucet I ordered the hose. Now when I go I can hook the 75' hose up and water. It drains easily, it is clear so you can if the water is out. It is very light weight. I throw it into the box it arrived in until the next day!
- I have a small horse farm and have been either hauling buckets or fighting with a somewhat frozen hose. I bought the 75ft. coiled hose for one barn and 2 more 50ft. hoses for another. I can hardly believe how great it is. So light to carry around, easy to empty and I keep it in a plastic bag in the house so it won't freeze when not in use. I think it's a wonderful product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to make their life outdoors in the winter easier.
- I love the fact that the hose is coiled, to make it more convenient for storage, and it stretches out to its' full 75 foot length but it does get tangled up in itself which is and can be a pain.

5 comments about Mosquito Barrier - Liquid Spray Repellent - 1 Gallon.
- I live in Northeastern Mass. Surrounded by Woods and Marsh. I have lived in my house for 10 years.I have been able to use my Back yard more in the last 2 years since using this product , than the total time from the previous 8 years. Its clean and effective and is not susceptible to the wind. I spray around three to four times through the Summer and usually give it another if I have a Special occasion coming up. It is extremely obvious when I see my neighbours Slapping the Mossies, while I'm standing untouched watching them. Of course some fly through, but they are not living in the grass. I have two young children and Feel Totally safe using this product.
- We live in Arkansas where the mosquitos can be quite ferocious. They don't bother me, but attack my wife like there's no tomorrow. We purchased this product with some reluntance, but wanted to try organic as we have a toddler that we did not want to potentially expose to pestisides.
Immediately after using, I noticed that the mosquito colony that was living under our deck had about disappeareded. My wife, who couldn't go outside to take the dog for a 'potty break' w/o getting bit 3 or 4 times immediately noticed a difference. They weren't completely gone, but it did seem to make a difference. The smell OUTSIDE was not nearly as powerful as I had anticipated, but I would highly recommend that when you are mixing your solution - to do so outside. I mixed my first batch in the kitchen sink and our kitchen smelled like garlic for a few days. It didn't bother me, but may be obnoxious to some.
So we were pleased customers. While a pesticide or fogging agent could be more effective, we feel better using this due to our child who plays a great deal in the back yard.
- Mosquito Barrier is over-rated! It doesn't work as advertised. I'm VERY disappointed! We applied it twice as directed, but still have mosquitoes. At the cost of it, I expected a much better product. I would not buy it again.
- I was excited when I ordered this product because of the rave reviews that I read during my research. However, I was truly disappointed with the results. I sprayed this product in and around the area that I wanted free of mosquitos but they won hands down everytime. I then decided to spray the entire yard, in the trees, and wood line. It yielded the same lousy results. I have three bottles left. I am going to see about increasing the strength and see if that works. I won't buy this product in the future. I will stick to the basic backyard mosquito spray sold by my local lawn and garden supply store.
- We carefully applied this product as directed. We saw no improvement in mosquitos at all.

4 comments about Dalen 3/4-Inch by 100-Foot Holographic Bird Scare Tape #HST100.
- I am renovating an old house and the third story just was invaded by pigeons who sound cute but like to crap everywhere (windows are open to nature). i went to Lowes to purchase some sort of netting that would keep the pigeons out and he recommended this stuff. It has lots of sparkly sections that make you think of a snake, or more importantly makes a bird think that.
I just taped it to the top of the windows and let it hang down loose. Then i watched a pigeon sitting on the gutter above the window and then swoop down to go inside OH MY GOSH A SNAKE!!! and he aborted.
Problem solved.
- We have a problem with woodpeckers thinking our house is a tree. They bore holes in our wood shingles. A good size hole takes about 20 minutes. We have hung the "scaretape" from all our windows. It blows in the breeze and reflects the sun. This scares the woodpeckers away. It works quite well. We have not had a new hole since we started using the tape. I would certainly recommend using the "scare tape" to anyone who has woodpecker problems.
- Works great, I have some cherry trees the birds like to get fat on, this stopped them, I just cut some pieces of tape 2-3 feet long and hung it from branches on nearby trees using scotch tape. couldn't be easier, very pleased.
- I had at least three dozen birds sitting on my view fence every day making a mess. I cut the scare tape into 18 inch pieces and taped them to the fence. they blow in the wind and I have never seen a bird since. It works wonderfully.

5 comments about Gardena Deluxe Spray Wand #38108-6.
- This is the third Gardena Wand I have purchased and it works very well for most of my watering needs in my greenhouse. It is very easy to use and control. I would like to see however some site where I may purchase repair parts instead of needing to purchase a new wand---at least then I would have a spare.
- Read about it in a greenhouse book. Thought i would give it a try. It is much gentler than other sprayers, while still putting out a lot of water. Only way to be more gentle is with a mister. (Also has other tips with hard sprays, etc. but I only use the sprinkler tip as I am in a greenhouse and need to get a lot of water out without splashing all over lights and electronics etc.) The adjustable pressure regulator and sqeeze handle also make control easy. No complaints.
- As another reviewer mentioned, availability of parts is nonexistent. While Gardena has a comprehensive website, they do not provide parts for this product, and most of their parts are available only in Germany. All I need is the ring that screws on the main spray nozzle, as the plastic threads are stripped.
That said, I have not been able to find any product that comes close to this. I use it to water my vegetable and flower garden every day. I just placed an order for another one, and if it breaks, I will order another.
- I agree with the other reviewers that this item performs (when it performs) as an excellent garden spray device. With the long wand it is great for reaching hanging flower baskets, flowers under the deck, and, other places needing a long reach. When it works it produces a nice gentle spray - excellent for flowers.
However, this item is poorly constructed, and, will malfunction with no provocation. The design is such that it can't be fixed. You have to throw it away as soon as one of the parts misplaces itself from a chance squeeze of the handle or some other slight circumstance.
I purchased it thinking that for a "deluxe" price, I would receive a "deluxe" item.
This item was non-functional after about two weeks of light use. The trigger froze. The trigger froze open, and, the resulting water pressure popped off the head.
I see this in many products. What is happening is that these products are designed by mechanical engineers completely on computers. They email the resulting design file to a manufacturer in China. The manufacturer puts it into a computer controlled plastic mold machine which produces the parts. They are assembled. A prototype is sent back to the engineer, who tests it for a few minutes, makes any adjustments to the design, then emails the final product to the manufacturer and production begins with no other testing.
The result are substandard products that are designed to sell, but, not to last, or function as they were intended.
Save your money. This item, because of its flimsy design and materials, is a throwaway.
I recommend a Toro 36" or 21" instead: The Toro design involves strong metal parts in the functioning moving valve assembly, and grip. The Toro is more comfortable to use, and, because the parts that can break or malfunction are metal, instead of cheap plastic, you have a chance of being able to fix it without throwing it away. Toro 36-Inch 3-Pattern Garden Hose Watering Wand #53908
Toro 21-Inch 3-Pattern Garden Hose Watering Wand #53909
- I bought my first one of these because I loved the squeeze trigger and I figured yeah it cost allot more but I get a lifetime warranty.
Stupid thought No 1.)
With a lifetime warranty it will last a minimum of 5 years right. If it doesn't I bring it back to HD right. It lasted 9 months(4 months of use) before the trigger started to leak which is great if you want to water your shoes.
I take it back to HD...
- sorry sir you need to mail it back to the Gardena with the original receipt. I don't have the receipt... sorry sir I wish I could help you
- can I register the product online so I don' need the receipt....no you can't sir.
Stupid though No. 2) I'll take it apart and fix it. I send Gardena an email asking for a parts break down. No response. Something that is glued together has no screws is not made to come apart. I try anyways, never got as far as trying to find parts before I broke it.
Stupid thought No.3) I did just what the manufacture know stupid people like me will do I bought another one for $45 thinking the first on must have had a bad seal.
It started to leak the same way as the first one after 14 months (5 months of use)

5 comments about Orbit 2-Dial Hose Faucet Control Timer #62015.
- Strongly recommend. Easy to install. Easy to operate. Not expensive. My three timers have worked great for over a year.
- I hate to be harsh but this unit is a piece of junk. It killed more of my plants/saplings by not turning on: fresh batteries are no match for the orbit. The unit has issues with not being able to turn on or off if either due to the water pressure or poor design. This product is not dependable which is exactly what you don't want in a water timer. Everything mentioned in the other negative reviews on this page I have experienced firsthand.
Buy the Melnor and rest assured your plants will be watered while you are away.
- I really like this timer. Purchased one at Lowes in the spring then when I wanted another one I couldn't find it until I searched on line. It was worth the additional time to find it because it works great and is very easy to use. Just be sure to bring in during the winter and remove batteries.
- this unit doens't work, don't bother changing batteries either. by the way, water pressure is a huge deal, it will only work when water pressure is at its lowest.
- I've had four of these over two years and I've had them stop working after 1-2 months. Which is serious news in Arizona. Even when they do work they rapidly start to emit a high pitch squeal that you don't want to hear at 5:00am. The start of the high pitched squeal means the unit is failing..

- Things to think about before you buy:
Make sure your cigarette lighter socket has enough clearance around it to accomodate this large of an adapter. You may need one with a cord with the plug on the end to fit in your vehicle. Make sure your intended use won't overload this adapter. It's rated up to 75 watts continuous duty. Otherwise,it's a well made unit by a name brand manufacturer and they warranty it as such.Besides,[Amazon.com] stands behind your purchase.
- Just bought new today at local store. Compact, light, reasonable price, ... It works ... but ...
Test the first time: The spring pin is sticky (dc positive node) fail to spring back to original position when removing the inverter out of car socket.
Test the second, third time: Even with the spring pin stuck (loosing spring property), electrical function is still working fine.
Intend to exchange. Hopefully mechanical defect gone.
- More than a month since i ordered this ....still haven;t recieved it
- Easy to "install"! Works just perfectly to charge cell phones or laptops thereby avoiding the need to buy need car chargers every time you change cell phones.
- I have had one of these for quite some time and I use it to charge my cell phone. It works great. Every now and then I have to pull it out and plug it back in to get it to work... but it works every time. It makes no noise (unlike the model with higher voltage) because it doesn't have a loud fan. It's a great option for accessories that don't need a ton of power.

5 comments about Ryobi® String Trimmer, Hedge Trimmer and Edger Combo - Factory Reconditioned.
- I was really impressed with this heavy duty commercial grade product. The string trimmer, edger, and shrubbery tool are great. This item was better than I expected.
- Product was listed as a 4 cycle, (no mixing of gas and oil), they shipped a 2 cycle....I haven't used so hope it works fine..looks good.........
- I've been thrilled with the Ryobi® String Trimmer, Hedge Trimmer and Edger Combo. No real problems getting her up and running and swapping out components. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is due to the surprise weight of the hedge trimmer - HEAVY. I could manage, yet only for a short period of time, then switch arms, then put down and rest. My package came with a nice extender to reach the high branches, yet it was just too cumbersome for me, and heavy. I could not be more pleased with the whole package. Got my whole yard looking real nice.
- I bought this combination String/Edger/Hedge trimmer from Amazon who was the agent for a company called Tools Now.
Tools Now

I got the first one.....yeah the first one. And in an almost comical way someone had sprayed expandable foam right on and into the motor housing. I spent a couple of hours scraping all that out. But I really didn't care cause it's just for the lawn whatever. It was a good deal. Then I put it all together and ran it for 5 minutes. Shut it off and it wouldn't start again. I'm a 48 year old male farmer. I have in excess of a million dollars worth of farm equipment. It was getting gas. It had spark. The motor had lost compression. I contact this Tools Now place. And had to send it back before I could get a new one. My dad (who is 84) and not much longer for this world, and I Were, are every year in a home yard landscaping contest in the entire county on the 4th of July. We needed this thing back fast to compete. I told Pamela Andersen the deal. (That is her real name. Customer service at Tools Now) Just hoping since they already have two strikes, the foam (crazy) the break down, I was really nice, that she would give a crap and expediate my return unit. After I sent a kiss her butt email asking for her help I basically got a "get in line sir, when your turn comes you'll get proccessed like everyone else I hate this F'in job thank you." So then nothing for a long time. I finally email her and ask what the problem is....."Oh, shipping forgot to tell me your return unit had arrived.....sorry." Thanks. I got the unit on the 5th of July. The contest was on the 4th. We got 4th place. Really we thought this was our year. I have had better service from pot head type kids on ebay. I would advise you to stay away. Not a good experiance. There is more to selling and buying then just the product. Good service when you need it is worth it's weight in gold. And I'm not sending any more of my gold to Tools Now. Kansas. If I would have known it was coming from Kansas. That's almost as bad as Canada.
- Positive so far, but haven't really worked all the blade combinations much yet. Motor starts easily, runs smoothly, and the tools seem to have good balance. NOT on a par with a Stihl, but very attractively priced...........

2 comments about WOLF GARTEN Vario Handle, 67" to 118".
- This tool handle extends by pressing a lever and clicks securely in place. Unlike Corona's pole pruner, you don't have to lug around a shear on the end of your pole. Also unlike the Corona, you don't have to have the grip of a wrestler to loosen and tighten the nut to lock the pole in place, and this one won't slip. It's lighter, aluminum, stronger and easier to use.
- The handle arrived quickly and in good shape. Very nice handle and with available attachments would be a great tool for someone. However, the picture on line did not note that there are no threads on the handle. It is made to use with other snap on Wolf Garten attachments (rakes, shovels, etc.). Without threads it did me no good and was returned. It may help to have a better picture or info to avoid this problem.
