2 comments about MSA Safety Works 10059526 Dust Masks For Non Toxic Dusts 25 Pack.
- These are a fine dust mask. They won't get crushed and all mushy like some of the cheap brands do. For the price, they seem to be a good buy.
- This mask, although capturing small particle if they are actually attempted to be sucked in through the mask would work great. However, with only one strap it does not form a tight seal, so dust is sucked in around the edges.
I just finished trying it for an hour of sanding with 80 grit and although I was sure to make it fit as well as possible I'm still coughing up dust.

4 comments about Corona Clipper Mini Shears #FS-4310.
- I have had these handy little shears for several months and really enjoy using them while potting up my orchids. The small size is perfect for trimming back roots before potting up a plant. The thin tip is also good for precise cutting of a spent flower stalk.
As Orchids host at BellaOnline.com I'm always on the lookout for handy tools and gadgets that orchid lovers can use. I definitely think these would make a nice addition to *any* flower gardener's tool collection.
- Ok, so they *are* called "Mini Shears", but beware they are VERY small. They will literally fit in the palm of your hand, and are only about 4 inches long. Don't purchase these if you have serious pruning to do.
- these clippers are small, but sturdy, I have used them for everything from houseplants to working at a garden center, for deadheading, pruning shrubs, to cutting back perennials. They go with me everywhere.
- I do not understand the negative review for these being small--
*That is the point*
They are indeed *extremely* small, but for uses which require miniature shears, they are phenomenal. Extremely sharp, clean easily, and last forever--- and I can get into every little nook and cranny.
Fantastic shears. Highly recommended.

4 comments about Fiskars Traditional Bypass Pruning Shears #9109.
- The blades are sharp, the capacity is good, but the handle covers have a way of sliding off the handles in frequent use.
- These work fine on green wood up to 1/2" in diameter, but anything larger needs more leverage. The lock is easy to use and very accessable, making one hand operations a breeze. The best thing about these is that they'll fit in your back pocket and stay locked. I also have a ratcheting, anvil style clipper that works much better on slightly larger twigs with much less effort.
- Not what I expected...FISKARS are supposed to be high quality stainless made in Finland. These are ordinary steel, ordinary pruners, made in the USA for Fiskars. I returned them. Fiskars Garden Shears Model 9637 are the real thing. But now that these pruners are reduced in price, as long as you know what you are getting, they aren't a bad buy.
- I like these a lot -- I bought them last May to cut back our lilac and forsythia bushes which hadn't been pruned in several years. The shears cut easily through both thick and thin stems, you can even cut several thin branches at once. I've since used them on average of once a week to cut and trim back tree branches and saplings as well as roses and other bushes. Fwiw, they do tend to do better on green or growing wood than on dead branches. As another reviewer noted, the foam handle covers can slide off but I glued mine back on and haven't had any problems since. The blades are easy to keep clean and the lock keeps them locked even if you say, toss them on the grass or a chair. Note, these aren't for pruning large tree branches or tough, thick bushes but they're great for basic pruning.

5 comments about Combat Ant Kill Gel 97306 27grams.
- This stuff worked beautifully last year, but I haven't been able to find it in any stores at all this year. I glopped it around where the ants were getting in, and next thing I knew they were all over it. In about 3 days, there wasn't a sign of a living ant anywhere. This year they're back, and I've bought a variety of bait traps and even some some gel from another company, and the ants avoid them. I even put the other brand gel in a line across behind the kitchen sink, but they go all the way down to the end of the line to go around. Combat's ant gel is by far THE BEST on the market.
- I placed the gel in the same place I always see ants. This day I only saw about ten marching up the house where they always come in. Within ten minutes of placing the gel the whole wall became covered in ants, hundreds more of them came for the feast. It was like thanksgiving for them, feasting on the gel. I watched with joy knowing it was thier "last supper".
Next day I saw about 20, most dead or acting "drunk". The few that were OK were busy running toward thier "feast" (the gel). Day after that, 36 hours later, nothing but dead ants. Two weeks later, not one dam ant in my house and none seen climbing the wall.
Yes, I was a bit tired of the ants, the smelly sprays, and those boring bate stations (which I have used in past with some results).
Why WAIT for results? I am amazed that this stuff was so irresistable for them. This stuff is like ant candy, and we all know how ants swarm around a piece of candy. 24-36 hours wipes out the entire colony. I am sure one day they will return, I bought another tube just to keep as a spare. I hate to admit, I enjoyed the "show", and look forward to the next one.
No odor, no mess, easy & way more effective then any other product I have ever bought.
- I've used this product twice in the past year for major ant infestations in my apartment. Each time I simply applied a few drops of the gel along trails and entry points. The ants started eating it within minutes. Six hours later they were completely gone and didn't come back for months. I'm amazed at how cheap this stuff is considering how well it works. Less than half of one tube wiped out two major infestations 6 months apart. Using this gel, I figure it will cost me about $2 a year to maintain an ant free home. I can't ask for much better than that.
One minor caveat:
When I first opened the tube, some internal air pressure caused a small amount of gel to burst out. So to avoid any potential messes, I recommend wrapping the cap in a tissue or paper towel before opening.
- I had a problem with Carpenter Ants in my bathroom. They came and went through a tiny hole in the crown molding. I placed the gel in several bottle caps near their paths and within a day there was no longer any sign of the ants. I did a little research and everyone says to make sure that you don't disturb the nest or the ants will simply relocate. Spread the gel and wait - it works.
- I really like the gel for it's convinience. One tube lasted us a long time. And it is easy to apply wherever spray is undesirable (kid's rooms, kitchen, any narrow spot). Better than a bait since the ants just can't pass this attractive poison. The only thing is to make sure that the've got enough.

4 comments about Mantis Tiller Tine Detangler #1322-00-02.
- The tines on the Mantis are fairly closely packed, and it is inevitable that you will wind some fibrous roots around them while tilling. The Detangler works great at picking them out without bruising or scratching up your knuckles on the tines. It has a vinyl wrapped handle to make it somewhat grippy, and fits easily and comfortably in your hand. A must-have accessory.
- Previously I used my pocketknife and pliers. This is larger so your hand is further from the collected gunk on the tines. Worth using. If I lost it, I would buy it again. For really tangled gunk, it is easier to simply pull the cotter pin, remove the tines and pull off all the junk.
- This tool is so handy to have when roots or worse yet, rocks become tangled or stuck between the tines. Believe me, it's worth the $10 to $15.
- I know it's just a piece of tempered steel with a dipped in plasticote handle but it's the perfect piece. It really makes digging out tangles easier. I have owned Mantis Tillers for nearly twenty years and just got a detangler a month or so ago. What a difference! Don't buy the tiller without buying this!

- I got a snow shovel last year that had something similar (and with swivels) built in. The swivels broke.
This product, has no swivels. It just screws on - but that's the beauty of the thing. It screws on to ANYTHING - rake, shovel, snow shovel, push broom if you want! With its simple (but effective) UI there's few bits to mess up, so you simply have a strong, useful add-on to most any tool about the house!
- Installs kind of easily but works great. I used it to shovel in the notheast and you really don't need to bend over. Fantastic product!
- I've used this on my shovel and pitch fork at home and it is excellent. Then I tried in on a rake and it was even better. I can put as much force as I need on the head of the rake without bending over. Raking used to kill my back, but this Back Saver lives up to its name. My wife loves it too.

5 comments about Suncast Hose Hideaway with Smart Trak Hose Guide & Bin #STB200B.
- We use 4 of these hose boxes around our house. They are sturdy and attractive and make pulling out and reeling in 100-foot hoses as easy as possible. The Suncast company is great to work with. If you do need a replacement part for the hose box, just provide the serial number and date of purchase and most parts are covered under their warranty and will be shipped to you free of charge, even if the hose box is 5 years old! The Suncast website is excellent to use and identify the part you need. This is a truly great product that I highly recommend.
- This product is OK it works but it is rather cost reduced. The handle you use to reel the hose is cheap, could be a lot more stout. The storage bin is rather small. Also the whole thing wants to tip over when you pull out the hose, either a way to weigh down the back or anchor it to the wall would have been a good idea.
- We bought this to replace the identical hosereel which we've had for several years. The spool broke, our fault probably by winding too much heavy rubber hose. A great product, reels smoothly with no snags, and a nice, deep storage bin. Just don't put 100's of feet of hose on it.
- We had a previous item that was similar to this made by Suncast and over many years it just wore out! We tried to find a replacement at many, many locations and no one carried anything like it anymore. We even went to the Suncast web site, but they don't sell to the public...now that is a problem! We found this on Amazon and the price was good and we received it in less than a week. Overall we are very pleased with the item, although we wish the wheels were larger which would make it easier to maneuver. There were a few "marks" on the hose guide/bin, but they were cosmetic and since it sits outside we kept it. I would recommend this item to someone who wants to store their hose away, as well as store some of the nozzles and other outdoor hose equipment with it...
- I recently purchased the Suncast Hose Hideaway #STB200B and am extremely happy with it. My favorite thing about it is that it easily rolls up 100 feet of hose with one finger. The only hard part was hooking the hose up and I cannot get it to quit leaking where the hose from the faucet connects to the Hideaway, but other than that I love it. Would definitely recommend it.

3 comments about The Snow Pusher Plus.
- It is a SHOVEL. A $110.00 SHOVEL! Are they out of their minds? IT IS A SHOVEL for $110.00!
- I've used the Snow Pusher Plus for 4 years. I also have a second one that's still in the box in case my primary unit breaks. I live in southwestern Colorado (Gunnison area), where is the snow is very light--but we do get a fair amount of snow. In any event, you really can clear a large area in a short time. I have a large gravel driveway (200+ feet long) and will drive on the snow until I have a nice hard-packed base a couple of inches thick. From that point on, I'll use my Snow Pusher Plus to clear snow. Once you have a packed snow base, this thing flies. I keep the blade at a 45 degree angle to the right and start just to the right of center and go the length of my driveway. I'll do the same coming back. With each subsequent pass, I'll move the snow further to the right until I'm finished. HOWEVER...it does take a little practice be get good using this thing. When you first start using it, you'll want to dig too hard into the snow rather than pushing the snow. Second, if you have a large area to clear and you are totally worthless in terms of your physical fitness, then hire someone to clear your driveway--this won't work for you. It also won't clear ice.
I love simple things that work and don't break. This is one of those things.
- Last year, my snow blower quit working. I did not want to pay $1000 for a two-stage monster. After all, it needs to be in the garage, not in the shed during winter. I would rather have my car in the garage. After spending a lot of time searching the internet, I came upon this snow pusher. They really have a terrible website and a worthless video. I took the chance and ordered it. It came in one box, nothing pre-assembled. Just like their website, came with poor instructions. You'll need to be good at this sort of thing to get it right.
The thing has obvious design flaws, but it works and you can get the job done with less effort than shoveling alone. Just set the blade at an angle, lower the handle to waist high and walk fast behind it. When you walk fast, snow at the leading edge of the blade moves towards the lagging edge. The curve of the blade helps the process. If you walk slow, it does not work efficiently. It will help you clear your driveway, but at the end, you will have to use the good old shovel. I am also thinking of getting the Wovel.
One flaw of its design is the pin that sets the angle of the blade. The pin secures the blade angle by going through a serrated semi-circular appendage of the blade into a hole of a steel bar. I was pushing the shovel through 1 ft wet snow. The pin got twisted under the weight of the snow. The entire weight of the snow comes to that pin, and it is not equipped to handle the load. I am going to ACE hardware to see if I could get a replacement pin.
