1. I found Karcher pump guard very easy to use, with it's threaded fitting that screws into the intake of the pressure pump. I thought it was pricey when I ordered it, but I will get multiple uses, since it didn't use up all the anti-freeze in the bottle with one use.

1. The fatal flaw with the design of this hose reel is that it can not support the weight of a 100' hose full of water. The first problem was that the wheel part wanted to separate from the spindle due to the weight of hose. Finally the part you screw to the wall gave way and broke in half after about a year. This is a waste of money - anything plastic is essentially junk. I have now replaced it with a full metal version from another maker that was about three times the price. It looks like it will work forever. Also, this reel BARELY is able to hold 100ft of 5/8" hose. It is probably more suited for 50 or 75ft. If I had it to do all over again, I would have purchased a quality reel the first time.



2. This is a great piece for the money, the only thing is that it works better up to a 75 foot hose, not the 100 as they say.



3. I bought one of these 14 years ago and it was still working fine up until the day I sold the house last year. I am now buying one for my new house. I sort of doubt that it should be used for extra heavyweight hose, though. But your average 75-ft hose it works perfect.



4. It leaks at the O-rings whenever it experiences water pressure. It's a design flaw...it can't not leak.



5. First off, the mounting hardware was totally inadequate, it just pulled out of the wall until I reinstalled with much bigger screws. The problem is a single screw at the top holds most of the weight. Once I got that fixed, the reel leaked some, which wasn't a big deal.
   
   Then after only 3 months, the reel literally fell apart, the plastic breaking from the weight of the hose. The hose was 100 ft. 5/8 in., exactly what it is supposed to hold. The warranty only covers replacement, but why would I want another piece of junk?

1. Slightly larger than expected, which was good as I was worried about the size for my 24" snowblower, fits perfectly, only glitch I see is that the storage bag is attached to it (maybe an advantage for some, but I'd rather have it in a separate place). Material is sturdy, looks and feels durable, waterproof as expected. String helps to keep it snug.



2. I have purchased other covers from Classic Accessories in the past. Once again, the cover I received was a quality product that is durable, neat, and exactly what I was looking for. The lawn mower cover and pressure water covers I have purchased in the past that are performing very well. They have a great fit and great utility. I recommend all the covers sold by Classic Accessories thru [...].



3. I'm about to order my third Classic snow thrower cover cuz they don't hold up very long. They fit my Yard Machine two stage snow thrower just fine, but the sun makes the fabric very brittle and subject to easy tearing. Maybe I should only use the cover indoors, but that isn't practical. So, I guess I'll just have to replace them each year - bummer!



4. I used this to cover my Honda model HS55 over the past winter in Tahoe, where it sat out on the back deck, exposed to blowing snow from the west. I found the cover easy to install and remove (follow the instructions), and it protected the unit very adequately.



5. I purchased a cover for my tractor, and was very pleased, so I ended up purchasing this one. While being a lighter weight than my tractor cover, I found this to still be sufficient for my snow blower. My biggest concern was whether it would fit, and luckily, it did - perfectly. I have an Ariens 824, and this cover fits like a glove. It's snug, so I'm a little concerned about it catching on something and tearing at some point, but I won't be taking it off/on too often, so hopefully that's not an issue.
   
   It's summer here, and with the snowblower under my deck, I don't expect too much weathering. Come winter, we'll see how it handles the cold/snow. Now, if I can just keep the darned critters away from it too, then I'll be really happy.

3 comments about DRAFT/MATIC MECH PENCIL 0.5MM.

1. I started using these pencils years ago when I saw a fellow copywriter using one. The pencils have a great feel that's unlike any other mechanical pencil. And unlike a wooden pencil, the lead is always sharp. Be careful not to drop it on its point, however. If you do, the tip can bend and render the pencil useless.



2. I am an engineer who does a lot of sketching, note taking and math daily with a mechanical pencil. I got my first Alvin Draft/Matic 13 years ago. When its tip bent (my fault), I bought two to replace it and have used them exclusively ever since.



3. I bought this pencil at an art store 6 years ago, and it's still the only pencil I use. As the other reviewers mentioned, the tip can bend if you drop it enough, but I've never had any trouble carefully bending it back into place. This pencil can also double as a tool to pick things out or scratch thanks to its metal tip. Unlike most mechanical pencils, it's made out of metal and...something else so that it won't break. Perhaps best of all, it's just about the coolest writing utensil you can hold; people are always impressed by it.
   
   The only real negative aspect is the eraser is pretty bad and small. One should just buy a staedtler eraser anyway.

5 comments about Hydro-Edge 20-Foot Watering Lawn Edging #8302F.

1. I needed to irrigate a small area in front of my house. The planting bed is about 30 ft. wide by 4 ft. deep. I recently installed fresh plantings and did not want to have to waste time hand watering the area every night. I had seen this product at my local home improvement store a few years ago. I guess nobody carries this product in stores any longer so I did a search online and was happy to find it on Amazon. I received the product within a few days of placing my order. I installed the product along the front of the planting bed. I used all 5 spritzer heads equally spaced. It was perfect for my needs and I recommend this to anyone else out there who needs a low-cost alternative to installing a sprinkler system.



2. This product did not work, the little sprayers blew out, could not turn in the direction, finding the tool to assist with insertion was an issue, the idea is great but for the money and time, it needs to go back to the drawing board for improvements!



3. I recently built a hexagon gazebo and I had a flower bed around it. It took 2 Hydro Edgers to circle the whole thing. So I put it on the outlining border. I then put mulch in the bed. The edger helped keep the mulch inside the bed. But most of all the spray nozles could be placed where I needed them.
   They were not fixed in the edger until I put them where I wanted them. It couldn't have worked out any better and I am just tickled!!!!!
   They can also be joined together to make the Edger as long as you need them. It holds up to water pressure very well. And above all you can ajust the spray nozles to water only the space you want. No waisted water!! I could go on but I'll leave by saying , I can't say enough good about this product. It was worth every thing I payed!



4. Bought three of these to connect together and irrigate a bed. The included barbed extension inserts leaked like a sieve, and all customer service could do is ask if I had inserted them all the way. My answer was "Yes, and I have added hose clamps to tighten them up. Do you have any suggestions beyond this?" to which I never received a reply. Ironically, the plug for the end which has similar barbs seals perfectly. Other issue is as stated above, the other day on 5 of 7 sprinklers, the little swivel heads blew off for some reason, so now most of the water just goes out into the yard, rendering it useless until I can get more. The swivel heads are slightly larger than a BB, so I'm sure they're laying out in the grass somewhere, but I can't find them. I almost gave two stars because I at least know how to get it to function, but when you shell out this much, it ought to work out of the box. In the end, I used a different barbed extension piece from a hardware store, silicone caulk, and cranked on the hose clamps with a screwdriver until my hands hurt, and I am about 99% sealed, no thanks to the manufacturer.
   
   Pssssst... I did the same thing in another bed with regular lawn edging and little sprinkler heads from a large blue and grey hardware store and spent about a tenth as much. And oh yeah, it doesn't leak or blow out.



5. I purchased this product last year, and for the most part, it worked well for the intention. The greatest difficulty I had was bending the edging into the curvy shaped that I wanted, and getting it into the ground (it tends to slope). In the end, I gave up on shaping it, and it's worked well. Suddenly this product is completely unavailable in stores. Customer service was kind but completely unhelpful (am I really supposed to believe that the company has absolutely no idea or way of knowing the product isn't being carried in ANY large chain Home Improvement store? Come on!), and carries a hefty shipping fee (FYI... the product costs $19.99). I like the product, but I'm unwilling to pay an additional $10 in shipping, and I'm really annoyed at not being able to find out why it's not carried anymore (it makes me distrust the company and all of their products). I wish the other reviewer stated the store, and product names of the less expensive, well working solution he was able to find.

3 comments about Factory Reconditioned Expand-It Blower Attachment For String Trimmers #ZR15519.

1. All around a fair product. Does not blow very hard, but snaps on in a breeze. Barely adequate, but gets the job done.



2. I bought this for a Troy-bilt 31cc unit which is about a moderately powerful gas engine. Didn't mind a reconditioned unit since these outdoor power tools get banged up and dirty on the first few runs anyways, and the price savings makes it a bargain. To my surprise, I received a product in new looking condition. Unit attached easily to my trimmer and I quickly was able to use it. Blows fairly decent amounts of air. I haven't exactly used a whole lot of blowers in the past so I can't attest to how effective this is, but it did the job of blowing away grass clippings and leaves which is all I needed. Might be too unwieldy to bring out your trimmer if you just want to blow out your deck every day but for the weekly mow/trim, these work great.



3. I bought this attachment and the edger attachment at the same time for my 29cc 4-cycle Trimmer. The edger is amazing. The blower is ok. It works, but I dare say that the best part of it is the scraper piece attached to the bottom that allows you to get the stuff stuck to the driveway. I've worked a trick to angle the trimmer and blower just so it gets the grass out of the amazing edge just made by the previously mentioned edger. But it only goes one way. If I tilt it 90° to the right, it works ok. If I tilt it 90° to the left, it does a real good job of getting that grass out...
   
   Everytime I use this, it does it's job, but at the expense of the trimmer. The trimmer overheats after 10 minutes of use. Maybe I have some things wrong...

1. I bought this stuff before and it works well!!!
   However, I forgot to put it down this past spring and my neighbor decided to use it too.
   So of course, ALL the grubs from HIS yard came over to MY yard. The bag states that once put down for 2 years and 2 seasons, it would last for 10 years. This is NOT true, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
   When you first the milky spore down, within 2 weeks, I saw dead grubs all over the place AND it is SAFE for Pets too!!!!



2. Bought the Milky Spores and put it on my lawn. Only time will tell me if it works...

1. My poor ficus was being eaten by mealybugs and I didn't know what the problem was for a long time. After doing some research, I found this product. I used it a couple of times, but my plant was pretty infested, so it didn't eradicate them right away. You need to do subsequent treatments once a week. I finally trimmed the heck out of it and sprayed again. So far, so good. My plant is bare, but with lots of baby shoots and I'm happy it survived.

1. I ordered the Universal Replacement GUN and hose kit, but only recieved an extension hose. I sent it back for replacement, but once again recieved only a hose. The paper inside said GUN and hose kit, and had a picture of a GUN and hose, but no GUN, just a useless extension hose. And, as if yet, I have recieved no refund. Pathetic customer service.



2. I also received two hoses and no guns after ordering the "replacement gun & hose kit". Amazon customer service said that they would refund my credit card (hasn't happened yet) because they were having distribution issues with this item. Was told that I'd be notified via email when the complete kit was available again. Haven't heard from anyone but noticed that site is selling them again (as opposed to listing a future ship date). Would advise that potential buyers contact Amazon regarding inventory before purchasing this product.



3. I ordered this item, the FAIP PowerWasher Universal Replacement Gun and Hose Kit #81K053SH but instead I got this, Powerwasher 1/4-Inch by 25-Foot Universal Extension Hose for Pressure Washers #EXT102F1SH. I requested a replacement hoping Amazon would see the error but still amazon sent the same WRONG item. I got fed up so I requested a refund instead. I just hope they won't refund to the WRONG credit card. BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN ORDERING THIS ITEM: FAIP PowerWasher Universal Replacement Gun and Hose Kit #81K053SH.



4. I had gotten my power washer second hand and was dissapointed with the pressure and how much my gun had leaked, so I looked high and low and found this kit.
   
   It is like night and day. My pressure washer is airtight, no leaks, and it works good as new.
   
   Excellent replacement at an excellent price.



5. So if you're reassured by the fact the feedbacks here saying they were only shipped an extension hose and not the gun are four months old or more and thinking that Amazon has it's act together now and you'll be OK if you order this now... DON'T!!!!
   
   Still it's an extension hose, still it's not a hose and gun... AMazon.. come on.. 4 months since this was reported and you acknowledged it as a distribution problem and you're still shipping the wrong thing, this is in no way acceptable
