- Blue Max 1,250-Watt 2 HP 2-Cycle Gas-Powered Generator (Non-CARB Compliant) #3241
Received Item in Excellent Condition, no damage. Read the instructions, Added about 1/2 gallon of fuel mixture, enabled the choke and it cranked and ran on the third pull of the starter rope. Unit Ran perfectly and after I let it warm up as suggested in the manual, it performed Great keeping a steady voltage output throughout the loading of the generator. Very good value for the price.
- The generator is said to be 1250 watts. It is really an 875 watt generator. The way generators are ratted is operating wattage then peak watts. This generator is ratted at peak watts not operating watts.
- I got this from Amazona month ago in great condition. It started on the third pull and still does. It runs small tools on my house-building site such as a sawsall or drill. I have used it in a pinch to run a skillsaw but it really is too small for that. It is running a bit rich but has only about 5 hours on it so I won't lean it out until it is broken in. It does just what it should for a small generator. It is louder than some which cost 5 to 8 times as much and it does make a bit of smoke as I'm running it with 32 to 1 oil mix. After another gallon of premix it gets 50 to one. I plan to carry it camping for when I need a battery recharge too. There is no worry about low oil as it is a two stroke. All in all I find it a great machine. How can they make this and sell it for $100? Unbelievable!
- Product arrive packed well but it would not start after several tries and priming of the spark plug.Further inspection found the tip of the sparkplug was bent. After purchasing a new sparkplug(about $2.00)it fired up immediately. It Runs FANTASTIC!!! Initially it is quiet but with further use of running for over a week it has become even MORE QUIET...It is barely audible.I would HIGHLY recommend this product and I Would purchase a second one if needed.
- This is a great little generator. It took a while to turn on, but once on, it was good. A little noisy but not too bad.

5 comments about Poulan Pro Edger Attachment for Trimmers #PP1000E.
- I love this thing! The last time I had an edger it was the size of a small snowblower. This thing takes up very little space and clips right in to my modular trimmer. I was skeptical that this would work, but after using it for the first time I found that it could cut right through my lawn that had grown over onto the sidewalk. Now I have a nice straight edge along my lawn from a trimmer attachment that takes up very little space when not in use. Highly recommended.
- I bought this edger based on the other reviews I read on Amazon. I had intended to purchase the Expand-it brand, but the reviews convinced me to go with Poulan. Glad I did. It works great. Could not be more satisfied.
- Works as advertised...Well worth the $48.00...No need here for the more expensive self contained edgers...This worked just fine for me using my Ryobi weed eater...
- Had used a string trimmer to do edging for years, but wanted to make those edged lines straighter, more professional looking. This really does the trick! Takes some getting used to, you have to get the cutting angle right, but boy does it do a good job! Very easy to use, though heavy (but it has to be to do its work). Well constructed; the gearbox gives off a substantial, smooth feel to the edging operation. Had looked at several other edging attachments but became convinced this unit would work best all-in-all and haven't been a bit disappointed.
- This is one of the handiest little tools I've ever owned. Sets up fast, & does a wonderful job. Can't get a better edger, for the price!

5 comments about 1500 Live LadyBugs - GOOD BUGS!.
- I really only wanted about 100 ladybugs but 1500 was the only amount I could find. Hirt's shipped them very quickly and I had them in less than a week even being shipped to an APO address. My wife about killed me for getting the bugs. I was surprised when I opened the box and saw all the ladybugs moving around. I thought several of them would be dead, but it appeared all or nearly all of the bugs survived. I rinsed the bag and refrigerated the bugs like the instructions said to do. Then I released them right before it got dark. All of the ladybugs seemed to crawl around and find a place to stay.
I am very happy with my purchase from Hirt's.
- most of the lady bugs seem alive, I put it out at night after it rained recently but the lady bugs flew away. I wished that it worked for me.
- I SENT FIVE EMAILS BEFORE I RECEIVED A RESPONSE FROM THIS COMPANY, THEN
IT WAS A VERY HATEFUL REPLY. I BOUGHT THESE LADYBUGS FOR MY ETERNAL FRIENDS GRAVE, AND THE COMPANY NEVER SENT THEM TO THE CORRECT ADDRESS.
I SENT THE CORRECT EMAIL ADDY THE DAY I ORDERED THEM WHICH WAS OVER A MONTH AGO, THEY FINALLY EMAILED ME BACK LAST WEEK. I NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND, OR A I'M SORRY RESPONSE. HOW SAD IS THIS?
- Received the Lady-Bugs very quickly, two days after ordering.
The bugs all seemed alive in the bag they arrived in which included a small square of something looking like foam & also a small wad of straw-type material.
The instructions were pretty clear but I was dis-appointed that there was no mention of "lady bug attractant" and/or how to use it. I expected information about this "attractant" because of a response that someone from Hirt's had written to another reviewer. Hirt's had asked the reviewer...... "did you use the lady-bug attractant?" when that reviewer had complained none of the bugs were in their garden the next day after putting the bugs out in garden.
The instructions did say to put the bugs out into a well watered, pesticide free (for at least 14 days) garden and only to put them out at dusk, as they do not fly at night.
I followed these instructions (I never use any pesticides so that was no worry) and I would say that the bugs were around my garden for about a week. I also put the straw material & the little square of foam into a couple of the pots I placed lady bugs in just in case either of these items were "the lady bug attractant".
I have a lush garden with lots of "food" that the lady-bugs could eat so I was a little sad they were all gone so quickly. I found about a dozen shells of dead lady bugs in one or two potted plants but the others were, presumably, off to a different garden.
A couple weeks after not seeing any lady bugs I tossed the foam square & the (by then) soggy straw into the trash.
Also, as another reviewer stated "her husband wondered how they counted the lady bugs"....(lol) well, my husband asked the same thing! We both studied the bag they came in (still full of bugs) and neither of us could imagine that there were anywhere close to 1500 in this bag.... I guessed 200, my hubby said possibly 200 but he doubted it.
For the price paid I am not upset about this experience but I doubt I'd purchase this bag "1500" of lady-bugs again.
- We had aphids and a variety of other little plant pests in the potted plants on our porch. I tried spraying them with water, then with neem oil, then pinching them off, and they kept coming back (the bigger aphids seemed to LIKE the neem oil, of all things). Finally I ordered these ladybugs from Hirts. They arrived in great shape, almost all still alive, in just two days (from OH to CA) even with standard shipping. I rinsed them under cool water and placed them in the fridge, as the instructions say, and then released about a hundred of them at dusk at the base of the plants (and helped a few start crawling up toward the aphids). This morning, I can't see a single aphid on any plant, and quite a few of the ladybugs are still there. I read online that releasing them in small batches maximizes the chances that they'll find food and decide to stay, so I'm waiting a few days before releasing the next platoon. Highly recommended -- this was way more effective than spraying, and much more fun to watch!

5 comments about Black & Decker Edge Hog 2-1/4 HP Electric Landscape Edger #LE750.
- Great value. Edger works great. I got tired of buying gas edgers and having them break down. Plenty of power, works just like the product description.
- I have used this product only once and it is far superior to the Ryobi that I had before it. It is easy to use and works very well. I use it on a small lawn but due to the electric cord attached to it I don't think it would be appropriate for a large lawn. My only concern is how well it will hold up over time. I had another Black and Decker product (a hedge cutter) and it was flimsy. I think that people who buy this product will find that it is good value for the money.
- Pretty cheap item but does get the job done probably as well as an expensive edger.
- This edger works great and is inexpensive. Easy to assemble and sturdy enough to do the job. We had not edged for a while because we didn't have an edger. Used a weed eater instead to try to edge. First we found out that we had lost about 6 inches of driveway because of overgrown grass and second we realized we could not get as clean an edge as we did with this edger. It took awhile to initially edge since we were cutting so much grass but it was well worth it.
- I am amazed how well this little machine can cut through the toughest overgrowth (6") on my driveway. I had no problem handling it. I was looking at gas edgers, and am so glad I bought this model. Just make sure you buy plenty of electric cord.

5 comments about Worx .065-Inch 16-Foot Replacement Line Spool for WG150 #WA0004.
- WORX website has "free spools for life", just pay shipping and handling. I received 6 spools for $6 total delivered!
- Product looks good on TV, but is very light duty. Does not cut as good as you see on TV. Light duty work on a small yard only.
- I love the line that came with the Worx and this is no different. Only thing is, I haven't had to replace the spool yet with my Worx and have been using it all summer!
- Whassup with the 1-2-3 - star reviews? I value other user's views, but for me I have to give this item 5 stars. The line is strong, it's EASY to pop in and out, and I'm finishing my 2nd spool now. I never had the spool or the line break although I fully expected it to based on my experiences with the little Toro's in the past that I've used. I live in the mountains and I give the Worx a real workout. It worx for me!
- Before I purchased this spare spool, I read several horror stories about how quickly it ran out. Fortunately I also read a review that flatly stated that if the directions are followed, its life was more than adequate. I got about 8 hours use out of my original spool...thats about 4 trips around my yard and sidewalks. Sure beats anything I've ever purchased at a big box store!

5 comments about Victor Ultimate Flea Trap.
- Well, I have had the thing plugged in for 3 days now. One day was spent in my computer room, where 2 fleas were caught overnight. The next 2 days have been in the den, where only one flea was caught. So that brings me to a grand total of 3 fleas. It doesn't seem like a lot, but I'm pretty sure that the flea problem was all but gone anyway (after dousing my cats with Frontline, the fleas have been without a place to reproduce for a few weeks now). In short, this product definately works, how could it not? It's based in the soild fact that fleas are drawn to light and heat. The only thing I would say is that I'm not sure it attracts them from 30 ft away, so try moving it around, and remember that it really works best at night.
- works as advertised and works great. easy to set up, and fleas are drawn right to it, where they get caught and die. we bought three, because we needed one for each area that fleas were localized in. got 'em all.
one point, that should be made clear: this trap just gets the adult fleas; you still need to use another approach (shampoo, combing, etc.) to take care of the eggs and larvae that are on your pet. that is a separate issue; don't expect the Flea Trap to fix everything.
- I have an autoimmune disease and was worried about using chemicals so I decided to try this. I was amazed at the immediate difference! The sticky paper is just about full of dead fleas and my ankle bites have almost stopped. I am going to order another one for the bathroom.
If you worry about chemicals, try this.
- I used this product in conjunction with regular vacuuming and Borax treatment. When I got home from a 2 week vacation there was virtually no flea problem. The sticky paper was full of fleas. I changed the sticky stuff in the trap and I think I maybe caught 5 more fleas overnight. I would recommend this product because it did catch fleas but I'd used other remedies along with it. My cats (3) also have been treated with Frontline.
- After seeing many positive reviews I thought, hey I'll try this. But after receiving it and seeing how utterly stupid the design for this product was, I started thinking twice about my purchase.
All this thing is, is a small light and a piece of sticky paper that is only sticky on one half. Apparently the heat from the light bulb is supposed to attract any fleas and they stick to the paper.
Well it doesn't work and the reason is simple. Why would a flea be attracted to this stupid contraption when they could be hanging out on 1 of the 3 animals I have feeding off of them? This thing is a joke and I really advise against purchasing it.

5 comments about MusicPower Duet Two-USB Port AC Charger #0900-71.
- The biggest and best surprise I received when I opened the package was the size of the device. It is only 5/8" thick at it's thickest point, and the A/C jack folds into the device. The two ports power my iPod and cell phone (the cell phone, a Motorola Q9M, complains that it is an unsupported device, but charges fine) so that I don't need to fire up my computer to get them some juice.
- Traveled to China, so it was used with 240V 50hz to charge a Zune. No issues.
- Perfect charger for an ipod. Two usb items can plug into a 110 socket, so you don't have to have your notebook near by to charge.
- I use this power adapter for charging my iPod Touch, and it works very well. I've had no problems with it whatsoever. It's cheap, and it works great!
- We are extremely happy with this product it is as what they say it does in the description and amazon has the best price of any online retailer that sells this product

5 comments about Mosquito Magnet Octenol Biting Insect Attractant, 3-Pack OCT3.
- We have had our Mosquito Magnet for 3 years now. I still am amazed at how many mosquitoes are in the net after just one week. We have 2 wetland areas below our house so lots of mosquitoes and the octenol does seem to attract even more mosquitoes.
- Our backyard is a wonderful place to be since the Mosquite Magnet with Octenol catches the mosquitoes so they can't bite us.
- I have ordered from this company before and have been pleased with their service and prices.
Will order again.

- Working as designed. Attracts those nasty biting insects. I have noticed a decrease in the mosquitos around my home since the purchase of my Mosquito Magnet system! Very happy.
- Great that Amazon has it as none of the stores in our area carry it and it is the only attractant for our type of Mosquito Magnet. It is the same as the product that came with the Mosquito Magnet.

5 comments about Toro 43-Gallon Spring Bucket #29210.
- I have been looking for a product like this for two years. This brand is the best one I have found. I could not be more pleased with the quality.
- Very helpful - even for a woman that does little yard work. Though I had the bag not stay in placw well.
- Much better material than other similar buckets I have owned and the price was very inexpensive. Works well and holds plenty. Well worth the purchases, even with shipping.
- Very durable and the clips to keep it folded are excellent, much better than velcro.
- Bought this as a surprise for my husband based on the reviews. It is something he would not buy for himself, he'd just continue struggling with holding open the garbage bag for clippings, etc. HE LOVES IT! It is sturdy, fits a standard yard bag, and it folds up neatly for storage. Highly recommend for clippings, leaves, etc.
