  1. dead the first night awesome product. Not only does it work well to cut them into smaller pieces, but if you also cover them with fresh black topsoil it works even better because they seem to be attracted to that more than anything and then he is doneso

  2. All I can say is that the 5 people that reviewed this product MUST work for "Tomcat" cause these little "worms" are as much of a joke as every other mole bait out there. I have used 5 boxes of these (yes, literally 5 boxes) and I have had NO success whatsoever. Granted, I must be a fool for spending over $100 on one product, but I have tried everything else and was desperate. Don't waste your money. Not sure what else to tell you to try though, outside of making sure that your yard doesn't have grubworms.

  3. I placed the worms as directed, even cut some in thirds as another reviewer suggested. I thought it worked, for about 2 days, no new mole activity. They are back and digging up other areas of my garden,It's caving in. I dont dare collaspse the tunnels, as they tunnel in other areas, killing more plants! I tried a 2nd dose and the same thing. As I understand, moles move every couple of days, using different runs, so you think you killed them, then they come back. Next, I'll try the traps.

  4. Like a previous reviewer I cut the 5" worms into 2-3 pieces, found the main mole runs as the box instructs, placed a piece in each of 5 runs. The trick is tamping down the soil in the run a bit; moles love to reopen runs even if you've stomped 'em down a dozen times. Wow, I'd tried everything previously, and as my luck faded over 2-3 months my mole specific vocabulary grew. I couldn't believe it - in a day the mole activity ceased. I then stomped down all runs in about a 400 sq ft area, and in the following 2 weeks, voila, no more mole runs in my yard. This product works and I'm going to use it exclusively and quit wasting time and money next spring on any other competitor products. It isn't the least expensive product around for moles but wow, it works very well.

  5. This tops my list as most worthless purchase of the year. The hard to apply, overpackaged guey snake did nothing except stick to me hands and everything it encountered.

5 comments about Karcher Surface cleaner up to 2650 PSI #T 350.
  1. Product cleaned probably 80% of dirt w/ a 2400psi pressure washer off the driveway. Not bad but not good enough for me. you could see a big difference if you went over it again w/ the wand and nozzle.

  2. Had a decade of dirt, grime and green stuff accumulated on large concrete driveway and sidewalks. Using the normal nozzle tips of the pressure washer worked, but ultimately impractical due to the tedious time required. This surface cleaner worked like magic in a fraction of the time. It is light and easy to use without straining the arms. It leaves a smooth, uniformly clean finish. And it was even fun. Felt a bit like fixing pictures in Photoshop or using a Paint program, as the unit so smoothly changes the color as it sweeps along!

  3. This was advertised as a surface cleaner - a power washer. When I finally bought a power washer and used it realize that I did not need this attachment. A WASTE OF MONEY and too late to return it.

  4. Concrete driveways in Florida need to be cleaned about twice a year to get rid of dirt and black mold. Using a conventional pressure washer wand is like painting the outside of a house with a 2 inch brush! It takes forever. I saw pros using a surface cleaning attachment and thought I'd give it a try. Caution: Be sure to verify the capacity of the surface cleaning attachment is greater than the psi output of your pressure washer. The Kracher T350 worked well on flat surfaces that were relatively smooth and free from gouges and pockets. Older concrete that has an eroded surface or extra soiled / stained areas will take as long to clean as using the original wand. This is because more time is required and additional passes are needed to get the last 10% of the dirt out. Using the T350 cut my overall time by 30 to 40%. It is a good value considering the next step up is 3 times the price. I recommend it.

  5. Anyone who has used a pressure washer knows that it is necessary to keep pushing the dirt and debris ahead of the cleaned surface. This is normally accomplished with the pressure nozzle itself. However, when using the Karcher surface cleaner, this is no longer possible. So, if you decide to purchase this item, be prepared to have a separate garden hose hooked up. You'll need to stop pressure washing occassionally to hose away the grim or it will simply dry on the surface where it lays. Aside from this one problem, the Karcher surface cleaner works very well. Sure, if you move across the surface too fast you will not get a good job, but the same is true if you're using a pressure nozzle. When moved at the proper speed for good cleaning, it is still twice as fast as a pressure nozzle. What's more, you don't have the tedious job of constantly staring at the nozzle to make sure you're holding it a uniform distance off the surface. It's always possitioned perfectly. I'm very glad I bought this item.

  1. I really wasn't sure what to expect for $40, but I find this flag pole kit to be well worth the price. Before I purchased I was concerned about how well the pole pieces would fit together (snug of loose?). Quite snug I must say. Flag and pole have withstood constant winds of 20-25 mph with gusts of 40-50 mph.

  2. Everything as promised at a fantastic price. Item is made in China if that matters.

  3. The flag pole kit was more than I expected for the price and I was pleasantly surprised, I will probably buy 1 or 2 more in the future, Thanks

  4. I would recommend this product to anyone want to display our American Flag. This flag pole set is a great deal and was shipped very quickly.

  5. We received this flag pole in record time. It was exactly as described. We will definately order from this seller again!!

5 comments about Earthwise 20-Inch 24 Volt Cordless Electric 3-in-1 Lawn Mower with Grass Bag #60020.
  1. I have had this lawnmower for about a month now and I am very pleased with its performance. I live in Savannah, GA and Tropical Storm Fay dumped plenty of rain here. I just cut the grass yesterday and had to do a short recharge to complete the last 1/4 of the lawn. I have a fairly large lawn and I find that I can complete the job on a single charge if I move at a good clip. I have had to cut the lawn while it is a little damp. The wet grass does build up under the deck and requires a good cleaning after use. I use my air compressor and a rag to do the cleanup. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to get away from the gas can in the garage. Time will tell how the battery holds up.

  2. Earthwise 20-inch
cordless mower: Cuts well, easy to start, takes a little getting used to. Comes ready to use out of the box. Very well engineered. Easy to recharge. Took 15-20 min. to cut about 2000 sq. ft. My husband and I like it.

Comments: Heavy for many to push on 5% grade or high thick grass. Instructions were not always instantly clear.

    ;

  3. I really wanted o LOVE this mower. I do not. I have been using it for several months now. The first couple of mowings were great - the grass wasn't wet, or that long, and the mower was sparkling clean and the battery new. It sort of goes down hill from there. If your grass is wet FORGET IT - the mower doesn't have the power. If your grass is thick and just a little too long - you will be frustrated. The battery in mine seemed to be less powerful (even fully recharged) after only a few times using it. The rubber on the grip is great but so soft it will tear pretty easily. The flap on the back of the mower is plastic and mine was broken when the blade ejected a chestnut. The height adjustment is made to take the skin off your knuckles - watch out!

I hope a company like Honda makes a good electric soon because that's what I will replace this under-engineered mower with.

  4. We bought our first house this year and had to get a lawnmower quickly. I hated the idea of having the deal with gas and pull starts, so we decided on the electric model. When I saw that they had a cordless, rechargeable lawnmower with already great reviews, I was sold. We've only had this lawnmower for a month, but so far it's absolutely wonderful. We have a corner lot, which means a decent sized yard, and this thing takes it all on with one charge. Two thumbs up!

  5. I am well pleased with this mower and highly recommend it. Before purchasing this mower I compared reviews for the leading cordless mowers and settled on this one due to its heavier construction. I was not disappointed. This mower is very sturdy which also means it is approximately the same weight as our prvious gas powered mower but the trade off is worth it in my opinion. It is sturdy, rugged, balanced and easy to handle. Previous reviewers stated it was louder than some electrics but again this has been a good trade off. The power is plentiful and it is much quieter than a similarly sized gas mower and no one hears it unless they are outside and near to the area being cut. For a time I had a concern about the run time (I never seemed to have a problem but my son could never finish both front and back yards on a single charge) until I discovered my 15 year old son used mowing time to continuing his texting with friends and tended to stop pushing often while continuing to run the mowers motor, once this obstacle was overcome the run time dramatically improved. One caveat about this mower (or any cordless), you have to prepare prior to mowing by making sure you've charged it. You must make sure you've charged the mower within a reasonable time before mowing for maximum run time. This may sound like a no-brainer but it takes a while to get over the old habits of the gas powered mower. Oh yes, it starts right up everytime, something the old mower seldom did.

5 comments about Agri-Fab 26-Inch Push Lawn Sweeper #45-0218.
  1. This is a great product, it easier to use than the thatching attachment on your lawn mower. My yard looks great. It takes a little muscle but the results are worth it. It picks up everything in the yard. Assembly was simple, too.

  2. I purchased this product in conjunction with a manual, push-type reel mower with the intent of using it to clear debris (small sticks and leaves) from the lawn that a power mower would normally suck-up. The unit is relatively light, but stiff enough to work in relatively deep (2 to 3 inch) grass and on some sloping ground. I would not catagorize the unit as robust, but it has proved adequate in service. The attribute I like most about the unit is that it has wide working width, so it only takes a few minutes to run over the lawn pre-or-post cut. The attribute that I like least is the plastic construction of many of the parts, but, it has held up so far. This unit is working for me and I have not run the power mower yet this season. I guess another good reason to purchase the unit is... no power-motor noise!!! Just the pleasant whirring sound of some brushes!

  3. Got my sweeper quickly but I don't think it was really worth the price. I put it together easily and not real heavy, went out to try it. It did pick up the leaves but I had to go over and over the same area to get the leaves up. I could have just mowed and gotten better results. Worked on the small area beside the driveway lots better that the higher thicker grass in the front yard. Maybe I wanted too much from this product. Will still use it but more often and before too many leaves.

  4. The brushes sweep leaves forward where they are then deflected to the catcher. I found that the gap between the lawn and the deflector was to large and a significant amount of leaves would get swept ahead of the sweeper and not into the catcher. I added a piece of plastic to extend about 2 1/2 inches lower. Problem solved. With my addition it does a great job of picking up even the smallest leaves. Ground must be flat. Does not work well on uneven ground, misses a lot.

  5. For the price a good buy. Not hard to assemble. Have to adjust sweeper setting depending on height of lawn but once it is at the right height, it does a good job.

  1. I really like this pond heater. It does exactly what it said it would. We have a small pond (about 50 gallons) and this is the perfect sized heater to keep a hole in the ice. The only drawback is that during extremely heavy snows, the heater gets covered completely so you have to go out and dig a hole in the snow above it. Otherwise, its a great product for a small pond.

3 comments about Honeywell HW7500E 9375 Watt 15 HP 420cc OHV Portable Gas Powered Home Generator With Electric Start (Non-CARB Compliant).
  1. Amazon has this generator for the lowest price on the internet and much better than locally (once factoring in free shipping which normally costs $170 and tax free which is generally $70 or 7% in Indiana).

Shipping is awesome although it was out of stock for a while. ABF shipping is great. Item arrived intact via smaller truck after 1 week. ABF called my cell phone and arrange for convenient delivery time (signature required). Driver called day of delivery for 30 min. warning that item is coming. Driver hand-trucked 278# generator which is in original Honeywell box without any crating down a 100 foot long driveway into my garage for my wife. This is not the norm as free shipping generally means curb-side drop off and it's up to me to dolly this baby into my garage. My wife gave the driver a nice tip and I called him personally to thank him.

I ended up cutting the box to get the generator out due to heavy weight. I used a dolly padded with a thick towel to lift generator on its side to put on the wheel kit and 2 back legs with enclosed nuts/bolts (no washer needed or included due to specially designed bolts and nuts with washer flare). The tires are solid rubber so nothing to inflate or to go flat (nicely design), and are held on the shaft via washers and cotter pins. The handles fold nicely and bolted on with same type of nuts/bolts. Nuts and bolts are metric so get out you metric wrenches or sockets.

Honeywell HW7500E generator is a beauty. Red, metal fuel tank holds 6.5 gallons with fuel gage and metal gas cap. Black accents and red engine are easy on the eyes. I used Stabil fuel stabilizer from Walmart (1 oz per 2.5 gallons) to allow storage of gas in the tank so it's ready to go with less gunk build up and easier start later. Generator shipped without oil. I did not use the enclosed free 1 liter of 10W30 oil or free tiny funnel, and used instead full synthetic 10W30 oil (5 liter jug) with long neck funnel from Walmart. I recommend pouring the oil into a clean disposable plastic cup and then using this cup to pour the oil into the funnel to reduce drips, waste, and mess. It took a full quart of oil.

I installed a Reliance 30216BRK manual transfer switch kit (bought on Epay for $_1_8_0 shipped--more at Lowes) and used the included 20 foot 14-30 cable from the 30216BRK kit to hook up the generator to the switch (generator is placed outside the garage of course to avoid carbon monox. posoining) when generator is needed. This switch and generator provide power to 50 gallon electric hot water heater (3000 watts), 2 fridges (1600 watts), 2 freezers (1600 watts), 6 ceiling spot lights, and 2 ceiling fans to family room. Obviously, the water heater will be switched on and off just for showers (once existing water in the tank cools) to reduce the load otherwise. The generator does have an idle control, stutters now and then when the water heater kicks on, and does not get any louder than a 20" push gas lawn mower. I can hear the generator barely in the house at night but not during the day. Generator is 10 feet from the house's brick wall, outside the garage door which is closed on top of the generator cable.

Starting is easy with plastic cheat sheet numbering 1 through 7 steps with electric start. 12v/14Ah sealed lead, tractor type battery started the generator with first push of the switch. This battery can be charged with a "smart" car battery charger if set to 2A mode for 6-8 hours. It can be replaced at Walmart or Lowes in the lawn tractor section. Stopping the generator is as easy as 1) unplug, 2) let run 3 more minutes, 3) push the button off, and 4) turn the fuel switch to off (also clearly stated, step by step, on the attached plastic poster).

Overall, this is an excellent generator for the price of $999.99 due to 1) 3 year warranty (1 year parts and labor, other 2 years parts only), 2) Honeywell brand (not the cheap Chinese junk like Powermax, Pro-Grade, Buffalo Tools, Blue Max, Chicago Tools, Eastern Tools, and numerous other aliases--best clue is the chincy 1 year warranty with them sending you the parts and you do the repair yourself or locally at any lawn mower/motor repair shop whose cost may or may not be covered by them), 3) 7500W continuous, 9375W peak watts (Chinese generators have exaggerated wattage ratings so beware), 4) included free accesories (25 foot L14-30 cable to 4 outlets which costs around $60-100 on Epay and even more locally), 1 quart of oil, cheapy funnel, 12v battery, step by step start/stop cheat sheet, toll-free help line with fast pickup by real Americans, and flat-free wheel kit.

I do wish that the fuel tank can be 10 gallons instead of 6.5 gallons, included funnel has a longer neck, easier access to fill oil, less noise is always a plus, included cable is standard 14-30 male to 14-30 female to allow easier hookup to transfer switches--it already has 4 outlets on the generator so why do we need 4 more on the generator cable?, outlet covers to keep them dry in the rain (I plugged them up with baby-proofing outlet covers at Walmart), and actual bumper to bumper 3 year warranty.

Despite these mentioned weaknesses, this generator is still a great buy at Amazon for this price.

  2. This item is awesome. I have purchased "cheap" generators in the past only to have them sold off as parts at the garage sale. Others would spit oil and heave gas. This Honeywell unit is a gem. Its quality, which is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a unit to run the things I need it to run, easty to start and no brainer setup guide. This was the perfect item. I expect many years of use out of this on the jobsite as well as at home. Would recommend to others.

  3. Generator arrived on time and I picked it up at the carriers location instead of having them deliver it, staff was helpful and put it in my pickup for me.
I purchased some Briggs & Stratton 5-30 wt synthetic oil instead of using the oil supplied with the generator ( Maine gets awful cold in the winter).I also purchased a Deltran Super Smart Battery Tender plus and charged the battery overnight to a full charge.Put gas in the next day hit the start button and it took right off.I ran my whole house off the generator for over an hour testing the unit out.Ran well pump, heating boiler, fridge, chest freezer, sump pump and enough lights and receptacles to be very comfortable during a power outage. The unit is very eye friendly and is quiet while running.I feel the Honeywell is a very good deal for the price when compared to the high end generators (Honda,Yamaha etc)

  1. For a belts-and-suspenders approach to inchworms. Use Tanglefoot on the trunks of affected trees in April and use Thuricide spray in May on your plants. It's very economical - as opposed to paying someone and arm and a leg to do the spraying for you! - and extremely effective. Note: I spray every morning, using a Black and Decker portable battery sprayer. A life-saver for plants.

  2. I am a commercial tomato grower and normally use a more commercial grade product but got in a pinch and had to try this and I can say unconditionally it did not work at all! Not at all! Not one bit! It's possible I got a bad batch but why risk it. If results are important use a different product.

  3. After budworms had reduce my petunia flowerbox to skinny green leaves and only one lonely flower, I decided to try B.T. rather than a harsh aerosol poison. I had a very difficult time finding this product in the stores in my area (eastern PA), so orderd through Amazon.
The product arrived quickly and after only two weekly applications my flowerbox is bright, blooming and filled with flowers once again.
I am thrilled and so are the bees and hummingbirds which visit my other plants.
No kidding this stuff is great !!!

  4. This didnt do what I thought it would. I had to take other measures as well.

  5. This stuff works, and works well. If you do not want to use a pesticide, this is your choice. I used if during a huge tent caterpillar infestation and I was very pleased with the results. Highly recommend it. Non toxic and no smell.

  1. I have been using electronic pest repellents for a long time. I wish more people knew how well they work! I put one in each room (I used to have a lot of roaches, now I have none!) No horrible smelling exterminating fluid. I have recommended them to others and now thry happily use them. Try them and you'll see what I mean.

  2. Spiders are not bothered by these things, in fact one made a web right next to the repeller. I have checked the lights on them and they were all on, so the devices should have been working. There is absolutely no effect on spiders or bugs. I get small spiders and very rarely an occasional small bug, and even these tiny things were not affected.

  3. We still have pesty ants that walk right by the device and those creepy house centipedes. The click is annoying for about a week and then it is easily ignored. It doesn't bother my cat though, so that is good.
