- This inverter runs a heavy duty inflator (electric motor) with an enormous starting load - the full 3000 watts. I emailed Xantrex for the max time for the 3000 watt (RMS) startup and the reply indicated 1/10 second and it delivers. I have monitored it with an o-scope. The inflator draws about 18 amps after the initial surge then tapers back to about 12 amps. The inverter is rated at 1750 watts for 5 minutes then 1500. I'm very happy with it. My setup is 1/0 cables about 6 feet long bolted to the battery terminals with an Tyco/AMP disconnect and fuse. I run it from a truck with two large starting batteries for 5 to 10 minutes when I'm using it.
- This is a huge power converter. Do not consider it unless you plan on running it from 2 auxiliary battery's. The product works flawlessly when hooked up to the right system. The cooling fan is not loud at all. It has a voltage meter and will fault and shut off when the voltage runs to low so you will not be stuck with a dead battery in the middle of no where. Nice product!
- Works very well, just keep in mind that installation costs can be quite high. I did everything myself and due to the distance (cannot be over 6ft) from the battery, the connectors and wire cost another $100.
- product works well we are very happy with our purchase.make sure to use as short as possible battery leeds .
- I bought this for my houseboat to run the satellite system, TV's, fans, etc... It has worked out really well after two summers on the boat. We are able to run a couple fans (12"), the satellite system (self pointing), and a TV. With all this running, we still have enough juice to fire the microwave up if we need to.
My only setback was that I thought this would power my coffemaker. Apparently my coffeemaker requires a little more than this will handle.
Overall, I love this thing and would recommend it to anyone with similar needs.

4 comments about Black & Decker Edger Replacement Blade #EB-024.
- The blade is excellent. I makes a perfect edge on my lawn. The notched edge is an improvement over the straight edged blade, it grabs the tufts of grass and makes a cleaner edge.
- I am very pleased with the Black & Decker Replacement Blade #EB-024. I've installed this blade on my edger and used it several times now. It really is great, better than the original.
- It's fine. It's a replacement blade which I was unable to get locally so I was a happy camper. I did not have to replace the entire edger. It did take a little long to get here, but I didn't want to replace a perfectly good piece of equipment, so for $10. we're good to go.
- I haven't used the product yet, but it is exactly what I wanted..it is always a dream to do business with Ace Hardware, either online or in the store..who needs the big box stores?

5 comments about Fiskars Power-Lever Bypass Pruner #9634.
- Cuts very well.I have to watch my hand placement as it may pinch a bit. Otherwise, very satisfied with it.
- This is a handy pruner that does a very good job. You do have to be careful how you hold it, though. As another reviewer noted, you can get easily get pinched.
- It is a fun little thing
cuts great.
Especially for arange flowers it is wonderfull
- This is great little pruner, for anyone have problem with their hand. I over extended my fingers so I often have pain. It works very well for me with less tension.
- Who knew a hand pruner could be so elegant and simple? Like most of Fiskars' products, these pruners include innovative design to increase functionality at a fair price. I also recommend any of their "power gear" products.

5 comments about Black & Decker Cordless Grass Shear #GS700.
- Even with a full charge, this feeble trimmer jams if you try to cut more than a few blades of grass. It is a completely inferior product. I can not find the receipt so mine is headed for the trash. I wouldn't even give this product to charity it is so bad.
- I've had the misfortune of having these lousy shears for two seasons (Ohio). I purchased these shears to trim grass around objects I didn't want to use the string trimmer around. The blades bind even in thinner sections of grass. This is due, in part, to very sorry power. In its second season of use, the battery lasts about 5 minutes after a full charge. The blades are also very dull.
Black & Decker isn't my favorite brand of tool, but it usually doesn't produce junk like this. Stay away.
- Perhaps B&D shipped some of these shears with defective batteries as I'm reading so many unhappy customer reviews. I bought these shears at the beginning of last summer and they run superbly, with battery life easily at 1 hour of continuous cutting. I have no problem cutting through heavy grass either. I leave mine on the charger all summer, then put them away for the winter. I oil the blades periodically and that's about it. I had a ten year old B&D clipper before these and I couldn't kill them.
- I get about 5 minutes of use even though they've been charging for weeks. It constantly jams. The button doesn't lock in place which would become tiresome if it ran longer than 5 minutes. This is junk.
- They are less efficient than I expected. The cutting quality is poor. Next time I'll opt for a goat

5 comments about Earthway Estate 80-Pound Walk-Behind Broadcast Spreader #2050P.
- This is the best spreader I have ever purchased but also the most expensive. The pneumatic tires make the difference. All my other spreaders would come to a dead stop at every lump or bump with chance for spillage. I didn't have a problem with this one and the fertilizer comes out evenly where I don't have to move the gauge to 0 at the corners or when I made my turns. The fertilizer didn't get stuck at the bottom like other spreaders I have used in the past. I also liked the fact there was nothing to assemble, just took it out of the box and it was ready to go.
- Best spreader owned. Excellent product, precise settings, professional quality and features at homeowner price. Very fast shipment.
- Not as well built as I had hoped. I don't believe the plastic wheel hubs and gear box were built for long term durability for large (2+ acres) uneven yards.
- The pneumatic tires on this spreader make it possible to go over rougher ground more evenly. If you're tall, the handles could be a bit longer.
- This is a well made lawn spreader that was easy to assemble right out of the box. The large wheels makes using the spreader very easy and it pushes very easily over rough areas of your lawn. The broadcast spreader does its job very well as it can propel the fertilizer very far and evenly on your lawn. Very pleased with my purchase.

5 comments about DX610 Pest-A-Repel. Electronic Ultrasonic Pest Repeller.
- I bought one of these pest repellers a year ago for my kitchen to get rid of the large cockroaches and it worked! I've only maybe once or twice seen another cockroach. At the time I didn't have a mouse problem but a couple of months ago I saw a tiny mouse in my studio apartment so I quickly bought another repeller (one for the kitchen, one for the bedroom). It hasn't worked at all. After the first mouse died (in my closet) there's now a new mouse running about!
- I had a "not so bad problem" that exploded into a "really bad problem" with mice..unfortunatley, I could not wait the 2 to 6 weeks for the pest repeller to work. I had to get rid of the problem first...so..now I am rid of the mice, I need more time to tell if the pest repeller works well or not.I do not feel that I can rate the product fairly at this time.
I certainly do hope they work..check back in a couple or three weeks.
- We use to have one of these and never had an ant problem. However, we did have mice for awhile (they found an opening through the fireplace) so this does NOT work for mice like it says. Our roommate who owned this Pest-Repel moved out and took it with him. We started getting ants throughout the apartment about 2 months afterwards. I ordered one for myself and now the ants are gone. Hurray!
- Don't waste your money. I got rid of the little pests by first finding the hole where they were coming in and cramming it with steel wool. I haven't seen them since. But it had NOTHING to do with this device. I had it plugged in for about a month and they were still coming inside just as often. It didn't appear to even phase them.
- I've tried this out because of a mouse problem. I've tried the Black & Decker one, but the mice laugh at it and dance about. This one, I don't see them. It makes a quiet tick-tick sound, like some bomb out of a James Bond movie, but that's a consolation to the worse mouse problem.

2 comments about SpringStar - Kitchen Fruit Fly Trap.
- Was hoping this fruit fly trap was a cheaper alternative to the much more expensive trap sold by Gardener's Supply Company. Cheaper is all I got...requires you to add water. Yes, the trap worked for a couple (3) weeks, but the trap itself started smell'n funky, so in the trash it went. Stink is not a problem with the more expensive "dry" type, lasts for 1 month, but mine worked for 2 months or more.
- The product did lure some flies, but far too few. Flypaper worked better.

5 comments about Bond Green Giant Spiked Aerator Shoes #9215.
- This would be a good product if they would stay on your feet. Unfortunately, the straps make a very poor connection to your shoe. As such, they come off after every one or two steps. After a while, they are just put on the shelf and not used.
- Cheap and does the job well. I have been using this product while doing stuff in my lawn and it erates well. Just strap it in your shoes and your set. You can see the difference of an aerated healthy lawn.
- The buckles on these things are garbage. DO NOT BUY.
One side broke while trying to put the shoe on for the first time. I started walking around on the lawn with the one shoe that didn't break, and the straps on that one kept loosening every 10 steps or so.. The "good" shoe 's buckle finally gave out on the 2nd tighten. So for 10 bucks, I got about 20 steps with one shoe.
Unless you plan on fashioning your own strap system, pass on these.
- I purchased them for working in garden which gets slippery, to help slow down my packing the dirt. They are too big... wish there were three or four sizes to allow me to have something a little more 'my foot size' rather than size 17 mens or so. I wish in a picture they had shown them ON a shoe clad foot. The product itself is well made for the price but it's not up to the reason I purchased them. And I have lost them in the patch. If you do not have any foot or ankle problems and a larger foot these would be great for the task, and, not trying to use them in a clayey soil. If you purchase be aware of the size of your new 'footprint' and that they can get stuck. I am not dissatisfied with the product itself, the money I paid was well worth it, the vendor was prompt about shipping, and I would deal with them again, but be warned that they may be awkward to use and hard to stay on, and if they 'glue down' you will have to leave them and get them up, off your feet. I have not tried them on lawn.
- It seemed like a great product. An easy way to aerate while mowing the lawn. The first time I put the sandals on, before stepping off the deck onto the lawn, the buckles on the left sandal broke. Good idea, poor construction.

1 comments about SPECTRUM #5580 No Pest Strip.
- Hello, I'm land surveyor and am constantly in the woods with the ticks and chiggers. I have learned that if you break this open, cut in half and run shoelaces through each piece you can place around ankle of boot which will give you a very good tick and chigger repellent for about 2-3 months. I never spray with anything else, just this. Ticks will crawl on me for just a little bit but then will die. Can't hardly smell this after opened so it doesn't smell like the sprays. Completely kills chiggers, which is a very big plus to me, and the only place that the ticks will bite in is around the shoulder and up. Since I don't want to wear one as a collar I can stand one or two bites a week.
