- I have been looking for a product like this for two years. This brand is the best one I have found. I could not be more pleased with the quality.
- Very helpful - even for a woman that does little yard work. Though I had the bag not stay in placw well.
- Much better material than other similar buckets I have owned and the price was very inexpensive. Works well and holds plenty. Well worth the purchases, even with shipping.
- Very durable and the clips to keep it folded are excellent, much better than velcro.
- Bought this as a surprise for my husband based on the reviews. It is something he would not buy for himself, he'd just continue struggling with holding open the garbage bag for clippings, etc. HE LOVES IT! It is sturdy, fits a standard yard bag, and it folds up neatly for storage. Highly recommend for clippings, leaves, etc.

5 comments about ELECTRIC FLY SWATTER - 1500 Volts - Easily Kill Flying Insects Such As Mosquitos, Flies, and Gnats..
- They advertised 'THIS IS NOT your regular WEAK "AA" powered Electronic swatter. Our Electronic swatter uses 2 "D" batteries which gives off a POWERFUL 1,500 bug exploding volts!
What was sent does not use D cells but instead uses 2 'AA' cells in direct contradiction to what they said.
I think that the advertisement should clearly state what actually would ship.
I have used it and it does work very well so I'll keep it.
But in the future I would be reluctant to order from that vendor since I can't be sure that what is advertised would be what they send you.
- I have tried almost every other brand out there. Yeah, I live in a trailer park, so this is high entertainment. The power from the 2 D batteries is enough to take out the big critters with a satisfying POP. The AA battery zappers were too flimsy to last more a day. This is the only fly swatter that I have bought more than 1 of, a must own!
- i bought this bug zapper to replace one that died after about three years of faithful use, and i just thought people should note that this one uses two size D batteries, thus making the handle a lot heavier and wider than my previos one which used two AA batteries. i haven't had a chance to use it yet, but if it works like the other, i highly recommend these for killing mosquitos. i've never tried to zap larger bugs.
- Works great, and it's fun for me. I might be slightly nutty, but hearing that "zap" when I get a fly can be so rewarding. The only downside is it's battery operated, I have seen them that can be plugged into the wall to be charged, I would have preferred that one but this is still a great product.
- to heavy with all the batteries, push botton came off the first day, 80% of flies that were hit just feel on the floor(stunned) then flew away. racket has too many wires on it to sap the insects.

- I live in two different houses and have had mice in both. 12 years ago my husband and I bought two of these devices. The mice were gone the next day and have never returned. Stay at my mother-in-laws several days a week and removed her mice with these. I bought cheaper ones at first and they didn't work. These always work. I love them and much as I don't like mice in my houses. They work perfectly. I've had good service from the company as well to answer questions I had about how many to buy per house. You'll love these things and they are safe.
- I had beetles in my kitchen cabinets and countertops. I tried to control them, but nothing worked. Then I got the Lentek Pest Control II. This product got the beetles. I couldn't get over how well this product works.
I'm going to use this product in my living room. It is completely safe for my dog. I highly recommend it.

- We put this in our camper and I will say we have seen less spiders but this week we came there to find out a mouse had made a nest in our oven with insulation from the wall. Now if it wont keep a mouse out in a small camper --how good is it? We have electricity in the camper so that can't be it because we have it plugged in all the time.
- This does not work!!! the bugs crawl over it and that seems to be all its good for. DO NOT BUY
- Wow. I will admit, I was skeptical, but this was the best $30 I have spent lately! It worked in just over 12hrs!!
We found some ants in our kitchen recently. I put out some poison that seemed to attract them even more.
A neighbor suggested I look into Pest OFFense. I ordered two - one for the kitchen, and one for the basment (we may have rats). Yesterday morning we noticed ants all over one section of our kitchen floor when previously they'd only been on the counters and along the baseboards. Since we hadn't received the Pest OFFense thingies yet, we put down an ant trap ... which our dog subsequently ate :-(. Meanwhile, the mail person came and delivered our Pest OFFense units. Perfect timing - you have no idea how disgusting ants all over your kitchen floor are ... especially when your floor is the same color as the ants, and you aren't wearing shoes!! We immediately plugged one unit in the kitchen and put the other in the basement.
This morning we came down - not an ant to be found! I'm telling you, there were hundreds of ants here yesterday and today, none! They say this works in 2-4wks, but it only took a little more then 12hrs. I would recommend PestOFFense to anyone!! And no, no one is paying me to write this review.
- I like every thing it does; just wish that I could turn off the nightlight...it is lit permanentely.
- Bought this and one similar for squirrels in attic. FYI, they don't work on squirrels. Neither do strobe lights (incase your thinking on that line). As for bugs??? I've seen a cammillion in the house, piss ants too. Course I live in Florida. Can't really say yet about other bugs but will leave the two plugged in and hope for the best.

5 comments about Cobra CPI 475 800 Watt 12 Volt DC to 120 Volt AC Power Inverter.
- I keep having to replace fuses inside the actual unit. Other than that, it works pretty good.
- GREAT PRODUCT SHIPPING WAS GREAT BEST PRICE WILL ALWAYS SHOP WITH AMAZON
- This unit is small, light weight, comes with a carrying case, two ways to connect to 12v supply and low cost, what more could you ask for.
- Inverter is a good size for carrying and comes with its own case. Good product.
- We needed a higher power interter to use in our RV when camping without shore power. We needed to power two laptop computers, charge cell phones and PDAs and run a small fan. This Cobra unit reviewed well so I ordered one from Amazon. It was delivered in just a few days (thanks Amazon). It has a solid feel to it, connectors are of good quality, and it is small enough not to be obtrusive in the confines of an RV. I used the cigarette lighter plug and put this on our dining table. The two AC plugs accommodated two AC adapters for laptops. As a bonus, there is a USB port on the Cobra that will supply 5 volts! So, I can charge my Blackberry simultaneously. What a delight!! The unit has an internal fan which only runs as needed. If I'm just charging a cell phone, then the fan does not run - but when I've got a load on - the fan runs and effectively cools the inverter. This is not a pure sine wave inverter but I've had no trouble at all using it with various laptops, pdas, fans, and cell phone chargers. I've not used it to power a TV or Radio (those could be more sensitive to interter noise). After a months use, I'm delighted with the inverter - it meets my needs completely.

5 comments about Worx GT 10-Inch 18-Volt Cordless Electric String Trimmer/Edger #WG150.
- I love the weight of this product and how quickly and easily it converts from a trimmer to edger. It took a few times to get used to the new style and weight, but I love it!
- I bought this product because I was tired of lugging around my husbands heavy gas weedeater,THIS ONE IS PERFECTLY SUITED FOR A WOMAN!It's lightweight easy to use and no leaking smoking stinky mess!I'm sold!
- Hello and this worx gt is nice just needs to be a 24 volt, the rest I can deal with
- Sorry I bought this. Did every thing by the instructions, shut off the trimmer every time the string broke so the string would feed out but it would not,had to hand feed every time.and that was the majority of the time.String was always breaking off, even on low grass.I'll have to put up with it since it is paid for, but I will use my trusty black and decker cordless for heavier work.
- With a 1/4 of an acre with a high amount of a trimming/edging needs, this tool works great.
Pros:
- Nearly silent especially when compared to a gas trimmer
- performs just as well as a gas trimmer
- So far have had zero problems with it
- assembly is very easy (just sliding the shaft into the handle and attaching the string guard)
- light weight and well balanced
- easily converts to an edger
- less maintenance than a gas trimmer
- no fluids to leak during storage
Cons:
- If I had any additional trimming needs I wouldn't be able to do it on one battery.
- Converts to edger (pro), but only twists to be set up for a right handed person (I'm a lefty).
I'm very happy with my purchase. When comparing this to a gas trimmer it has plenty of power. On the rare occasion that one battery charge isn't enough I'd rather take a 45min break instead of drive to the gas station to refill the trimmer (or store gas in my garage).

5 comments about Fiskars Axe and Knife Sharpener #7861.
- I brought this sharpener and I recently sharpened my Cold Steel Trail Boss with it and it takes like 20 minutes to sharpen it, it wears my arm down after a couple of minutes, and the sharpener is already wearing down! I'm planning next week to get the Fiskars Hatchet, the Fiskars Splitting Axe, and I'm also planning to get a Granfors Bruks Sharpener to replace this one.
P.S. The reason I gave this sharpener 2 stars instead of 1 is because at least it made the axe sharp again.
- This is the best wood splitter. It is much superior to the 6# maul I have used, even though it is much lighter at 4 1/2 #.
The handle length is just right for me at age 81, but might not suit a young Paul Bunyan.
In summary, I have been splitting wood a long time, but this is easily the most improved wood tool I have used.
Bob,, Maryland
- Highly recommended - I use it after each time I use my axe to keep it sharp.
- This item is terrific. It does a good job sharpening everything, from axes on down to knives.
- In 20 passes, your knife should go from dull to sharp. Works OK with larger blades, like the Fiskars axes too. So easy to use.

5 comments about American Lawn Mower Company Reel Mower Sharpening Kit #SK-1.
- did what it was suppose to mdo really worked well on sharping the blades on out reel mower
- I only gave it three stars and perhaps I'm not being fair but here's why I'm not pleased with it: I bought the Gilmour 20" reel mower from Amazon.com and at the time of my purchase, they suggested I buy the sharpening kit too. Well, the hand crank from the sharpening kit does not fit the Gilmour mower. I'm sure it fits all the rest and probably works fine but I'm a bit ticked off at Amazon suggesting that I buy it. PS: The Gilmour did a great job for 15 - 20 cuts and then since then it seems like it needs to be sharpened because it's missing too much of the grass.
- This kit is essentially what anyone can do on their own but it is conveniently packaged. The goop everyone is referring to is essentially the same as automotive valve grinding compound (which you can get at most auto parts stores). I like the idea of using a power drill to turn the reel while it sharpens - so here's an alternative for anyone who feels like taking a DIY approach:
1. Prop up the lawn mower so you can turn the reel by twirling the wheels.
2. Check the blades for nicks and burrs. If you find any, remove them with a file (hold file flat against blade and push away from spindle). I use a sharpening stone that fits my power drill but that's b/c I'm lazy.
3. Check your bar alignment, it'll be obvious if it's off - it will hit the guide bar. If alignment is off, you need to fix the alignment with the screws at the end of the bar but hopefully it's fine (if it turns with that cool whispy sound, then you're fine).
4. Spread a thin & even coat of auto valve-grinding compound.
5. Take off a wheel and affix your power drill so that the blade turns and the grinding compound squeezes between the blades and the cutting bar. Go a few dozen times.
6. I reapply the grinding compound and do it again.
7. Check out the blades, which should be sharper then rinse the valve compound off the blades.
This is EASY and quick. I really like how the kit makes it a no brainer exercise and if you're going to use a reel mower, use one with sharp blades.
- This is a simple low teck product that does exactly what it is supposed to do. It sharpens the blades on a reel type mower. My mower's blades were not in horrible condition and I cannot comment on how this product would perform on severly damaged blades. I was satisfied with the product, the instructions and the price.
- This sharpening kit is a definite necessity for reel mower users. The directions are easy to follow, and it makes sharpening the blades easy and convenient. I was brand new to reel mowers, and had never seen a anyone sharpen or use one before, but I had no problems with this kit at all. Using this kit, I have been getting a great cut.

- Excellent product for the price. Purchased 2 for my dtg and her family.
One is used outside the work barn and one in the shop. My grandson love to hear the bugs get "Zapped"
- I purchased this product for my pool/deck area. We were constantly bothered by mosquitos. Since I have installed this Flowtron, I have noticed a reduction in the amount of mosquitos-- even after dark. I would recommend this to anyone and already have had some family members purchase it..
- I spent the money on it and the holder, but the result is far away from what I expected. Maybe my mosquitos are too small to fly on the height of the lamp?)) looks like they hide in the grass and bite my legs! And also it is so-so effective only during night time, dusk - no use, I have to spray myself anyway((
- This product worked better then expected. Everytime I walk outside at night, I hear nothing but bugs being zapped consistently. I would recommend this product to anyone.
- When the flowtron it arrived, the instructions indicated that the flowtron should be placed at a location away from the house; away from people. Since I did not have an electrical feed away my house, I had to return the flowtron. Having the instructions under product information would have been helpful.

5 comments about McCulloch 14-Amp Electric Chipper/Shredder #MCS2001.
- After 2 months of intermittent service in my yard, it needs a new capacitor and circuit breaker.
- Overall the McCulloch Chipper/Shredder is a good little mulcher. It isn't the fastest or the most powerful, but as an electric mulcher it performed much better than expected. The motor has good torque so the unit can chew through branches up to 1.5" - however they should be dried as green branches will shred and clog the blades. Assembly was not easy but not as bad as described in other reviews. So far the unit has been quite durable too.
- Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R342RJ1B0DERLD The hardest part of operating this McCulloch Chipper/Shredder was dragging it in from outside after UPS dropped it off. The box weighs 80 LBs, which made it a little hard for me to carry up the steps. I almost wish I had assembled it in my driveway.
Putting it together was fairly easy despite the ridiculous instructions (I echo the complaints of most reviews). I actually think it is impossible to do step 2 after step 1. I eventually tossed the instructions and put it together based on the picture of the final product and common sense.
Like I said, the box weighs 80 LBs, meaning you are dealing with a pretty heavy duty machine. The upper intake compartments are plastic and/or thin metal, but the lower cutting area and lower base are sturdy, dependable metal. I expected a large salad shooter, but this device looks and feels very tough and rugged for its price.
My idea was to move the shredder from bed to bed in my garden and shred on the spot. Once I had an understanding of the weight of the device, I decided it was probably better to keep it in a level surface (my back porch), not move it around very much and then spread the mulch. I would not suggest trying to roll this unit through a garden or an uneven yard.
Once I had it in place and cut down my corn, tomatoes, brussel sprouts and sunflowers, I was shocked at how quickly the pile of leaves, stems, stalks and vines became something akin to what a giant would use to make cole slaw. Operation is simple; long stalks feed through a side shoot like a large pencil sharpener and everything else gets loaded from the top. The hopper is designed similar to a mailbox and doesn't allow roughage to be "dumped" into the unit. This seems frustrating at first, as most things have to be hand-fed one at a time, but once you see how violent the chipping/shredder process actually can be, you will be glad there isn't a clear path from the blades to your face.
I only had a problem with the brussel sprout stalks. They were a little too big for the side shoot, so I had to chop them into 3 inch pieces by hand before loading them into the hopper. I probably ran the shredder continuously for 3-4 hours and only "clogged it up" once. Because most of my plants were still green, the water released during the shredding process made the debris stick together in chunks which collected around the blades and caused the machine to die. All I had to do was take off the yellow cover (after unplugging, of course) and clean the blades. While the top was off, I also cleaned out the dispensing shoot and the main hopper. I assume this will be standard maintenance which will have to be done every couple hours of usage.
Overall, this is a great device. I spent last fall digging holes all over my garden and burying what was left of my plants. By the time spring came around, they hadn't totally decomposed, which gave me trouble when I wanted to start my garden this year. I don't expect to have that problem ever again.
- This is a great supplemental chipper to my larger gas-powered 8HP Yardman. Much easier to pull out and use without so much prep. I really like the power level and am glad I made the purchase. I'm using it about twice a week. Now, the nit-picky stuff: The manual is horrible - they should be ashamed! Use the instructions from 'u12soccercoach' among these reviews (#3 was confusing to me - keep both legs in holes toward inside of axel? Anyway, that's what I did and it works). I also downloaded the service manual from the mccullochpower.com website. It's only a diagram of parts, but helped a little.
Feeding any chipper is similar - easing dry branches in and letting the machine chomp at its own pace. Don't bother with feeding large amounts of leaves, etc through the top - very inefficient - the top is mainly to stop debris from flying out. Use your goggles all the time! If you want to chop leaves, rake them in a pile and use one of those leaf blower/vac machines.
I tried using a bag under the chute - the machine didn't have enough power to push the debris out down into the bag and it started to back up. I then put a 5-gal paint pail under and that worked much better. Just be sure to not let the debris build up under nozzle - you have to push away every once in a while. If it backs up, you have to take off the top and clean out. This isn't a big deal and as you get the feel of the machine, there are less-to-no stop-ups. I would have liked a handle to pull the machine, as it is now, you drag it by the head.
- It plugs up for almost no reason and it is a real hassle to unscrew all the bolts to clear out the jam. I have owned one for about a year and I am sorry I got it.
