1. FYI, the UK version of this is "DMF 10 Zoom". A search using this reference will give you reviews.
   From what I've read this is a good quality and relatively inexpensive wall scanner.
   Looking forward to getting hold of one.....



2. I was disappointed in the stud finder. Using it on an outside wall that has foil backed insulation is a normal task. I found the finder's performance lacking.



3. This device attempts to be a stud finder, metal finder and live-wire detector. It works best as a metal detector but you can't turn off the live-wire detector which is fooled by static electricty and gives so many false positives you don't know what you have in the wall.
   
   I recently tried to find the position of studs in an exterior wall of a new home with sheetrock and vinyl siding. In the metal mode I got a rough idea (looking for nails or screws) but it seemed to identify more studs than existed and according to the readings I was sure there was a live-wire in there.
   
   I then tried a Zircon stud finder that cost half as much as the Bosch and found less studs and those it found were in different positions than those indicated by the Bosch.
   
   I cut into the wall and found the Zircon was correct and there was NO wires, live or otherwise. The Bosch showed the position of the studs off by 1-2 inches and indicated studs were there were none.



4. The stud finder controls arent intuitive and it is difficult to differentiate the stud finder beep from the electrical circuit detector beep.

1. I bought this 48" and a 24" e70 Empire level.
   The NEW e70.24 Level is the best I have ever used. I build garages for a living and a level is a very important tool. I have been a carpenter for 40 years and this level is light weight (good for my old body) and easy to read the blue vile (good for my old eyes). I looked at the e70 at Home Depot and then orderd it from Amazon. Free freight and NO TAXES!
   The young bucks on the job are going to purchase them too. They know better than to touch my tools!!
   If you need a level BUY THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!



2. The Empire e70.48 is the best level I have every owned. I used to be a Stabila user by I have seen the "True-Blue" and converted. There is hope for all you other German level users. Along with being easier to use these cost alot less if you buy them from Amazon.com.

3. I own a 72 inches version. It is the best one I have had. It might not as good as Stabila, but it hand down beats all other in its price range. Very sturdy and rigid.



4. Why pay up for Stabila when you can have the same or better accuracy for a lower cost? I have 2',4' & 6' levels for less than I paid for my last 4 footer. Thanks



5. Super level with unbeleivable accuracy. The only drawback to this level is: there's a small bevel on the leading edges that seems to cause a bit of difficuty when using a carpenter pencil for your line, just takes a bit of getting used to, the issue is that when drawing level lines for cabinets you must hold a consistant angle on your pencil( a thinner pencil will do just fine). That being said, I would'nt trade it for a stabilla.

1. They say 4" and they are right, but you forget that when you put it to use. I used it to hold a 2x12 stringer against a 4x4 post (that is about 5") so that I could mark the stringer for cutting. The clamp snapped in two. I knew better; plastic does not and cannot replace a real clamp.



2. These have characteristics that are quite different from other kinds of spring-loaded clamps. Adjusting the size of the opening also lets you adjust the pressure the clamp exerts on the material being clamped. I think they're great. I have four 3-inch and four 4-inch and will be buying more of the 4". I see little reason for buying the 3" size because the 4 inch size also clamps 3" and less.



3. I do a lot of woodworking. I use these clamps for almost all my projects. They are just the right strength for most correctly fitting wood joints. The variable jaw is a nice feature that actually makes this several size clamps in one.



4. What a great clamp!! Replaces all your other spring-type clamps in one unit. Holds just about any 4 inch or less wood joint together plenty tight for gluing. Quick and easy to adjust. For routine smaller work, this is the only clamp you need to reach for! Suggest the 4 inch rather than 3 inch size.

1. We ordered this clamp set in December as a Christmas present for our son and so far he has only received one of the clamps. According to the tracking info, the order appears to be completed. However, there is NO way to tell if one or two clamps were shipped. Having one clamp is useless. The name of this product is "parallel clamp 2 pack". It seems like the idea of parallel is not applicable if there is only one clamp.



2. A prior reviewer had a shipping problem so they gave these clamps a one star rating!!???? I think we are rating the product, not the order fullfillment process. These are amazing clamps. Read some of the informative reviews on the other Jet Parallel clamps here. They receive 5 stars almost universally.



3. The over sized faces and awesome hand grips make these clamps a dream to use. Solid, sturdy and strong. Put any other parallel clamps on the market up against them and you'll be a Jet user.



4. The Jet clamps represent an improvement over the similar Bessey clamps. The Jets have a trigger you pull to move the clamp body along the bar, whereas the Bessey clamps require a hard-to-describe hand motion that can be difficult to do one-handed. They are otherwise pretty similar.
