  1. Nice set, nice case, nice price. The deep sockets are really good to have. Quality seems first rate. Unless you are a professional mechanic, this should meet all your needs.

  2. The tools are a good value for the price which was $36.00 for me with free shipping. They do not compare to Craftsman, but they are good for small jobs. The only issue is the case. It feels like a cheap plastic and seems like it won't last very long.

  3. was a little disappointed with this purchase initially but after a coupla days use hey seem to be holding up well.

  1. I was very pleased with this product,it is small with a large dipsplay and has a lazer to aid in aiming along with a backlit display.
It works great for a infared Thermometer, compact and lots of fun checking
out temps of things. It comes with a soft case also.
I am very pleased and worth the extra money.

  2. Great product, fair price and super fast shipping. This is a quality meter and I would recommend it to anyone needing temperature control accuracy.

  3. So many other people have raved about this tool, and I feel like I need to, also. This has to be the best idea Fluke has come out with in a while! Not only can you use it to determine temp on the job, but you can use it in whatever your temp needs are. I think the only thing it wouldn't work on would be your kid's body temp, but other than that, I would use it for anything!

  4. I purchased one of these and entered a room that was 34 degrees Left the fluke 62 in there for a couple hours while I was in there. Four separate thermometers in various locations all read 36 and the flue checks the same area's at between 22 and 28. I haul produce and I I had relied on this it could possible cost me several hundred or thousand dollars in damages. 34 is cold, 28 is froze. This variance is unacceptable. When I showed the person running the warehouse he laughed at me and offered me a look in a drawer. He pulled it open and there was 5 of the same exact things. He told me they are a joke and that I wasted my money. It may be great at 500 degrees but at or near freezing it's useless.

  5. Fluke great quality. Easy to use, works well. I use it to check AC exit temps, automobile diagnosics, even the temp of my griddle and barbeque.

  1. I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He loves it. He carries it on his key chain and the scissors and knife have already been used many times. Both are sharp and perfectly easy to use. It is perfect size to carry in his pocket. He has also used the nail file as a screw drive in a pinch. I would recommend this product. I wouldn't bring it as a survival tool but a great all around for small things.

  2. Product is more than satisfactory. It is sleek and light weight. Very happy with it.

  3. What can be said about this knife? It is just one of those things you cannot do without. It is very handy and last almost forever (unless you lose it). I have several of the variations depending on what I need. This is the simplest one. Also have the one with philips and normal screw drivers (still very small knife) and of course the one with a bottle opener, one which all beer drinkers need! Must check out all the variant to be sure to get the right one(s).

  4. I was delighted with the pocket knife. It is easy to carry on my key ring and most useful.

  5. The original small pocket knife is still and always will be the best in my book!

  1. First of all let me just tell everyone that if you buy with amazon.com you will get a genuine Swiss Army Knife. It came in a small silver box with two booklets. Furthermore, this is a great buy for anyone looking for an overall usefull tool. It is made of top quality stainless steel. All pieces fold out with great ease. It is the best bang for your buck with this iteam.

  2. Victorinox Swiss Army Swiss Champ Pocket Knife (Red)

This knife is my inseparable companion. The blades are very sharp. Great product!

  3. I have always owned a Swiss Army Knife (SAK) and found them very useful at work, at home and when outdoors. This SAK purchase was for my daughter who loves "gizmos" and gadgets. It's not an easy knife to carry in your pocket (it's large) but if you carry a purse or similar carry-device (as she does), or wear a belt, it's really a great tool to own and have on your person. The quality is excellent, as are all SAKs, but you may need to add a SMALL amount of light synthetic lubricant to assist opening some of the tools. This hand-held toolbox is the ultimate SAK if you are always tightening, loosening, opening, cutting, examining, measuring and working on small jobs and projects.

  4. This thing is amazing. It has everything you can friggen' need all in one. I'm really satisfied with what I got when I bought this knife. It really amazes me how well its made and how many things they can cram into it. I've used it for many things and never has it not worked appropriately. Everyone should own one of these, really more of a prized possession. I'll probably pass it down to the children I don't have yet. I can expect this to last for a long, long time and I'm grateful. This knife is worth every penny.

  5. I AM A SURVIVAL TEACHER LES STROUD . I WOULD NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT . I HAVE 20 OF THEM. 1 IN THE CAR. 1 IN MY PANTS. 1 IN THE KITCHEN DRAWER .1 IN THE GARAGE . 1 ON MY BIKE . 1 ON MY BOAT . 1 ON MY PLANE . 1 IN MY LUNCH BOX . 1 IN MY BEDROOM .1 IN MY JACKET. AND THE OTHER 10 I HIDE ALL OVER THE PLACE ..IM VERY SMART AND I LOVE THIS TOOL. GREAT FOR CARVING STUFF . A 10 PLUS

  1. This level tool does not indicate a true zero degrees on a level surface. If you need a true level tool buy a bubble level and test it before leaving the store.

This Pitch locator is acceptable for my purpose. I use it when making photographs of paintings where I need the slope angle of the painting to match the slope angle of camera's sensor. The readings need to be the same and the fact that the tool does give a true zero is not significant in this usage.

  2. I have recently bought Johnson Level ,were tested on different surfaces and angles show that gives reading an accurate and valid ,generally amazing level and highly recommend .

  1. Great variety. Nice quality. I would recommend this. I used it to open a laptop hard drive.

  2. There is a huge variety of bits and they are all magnetical. The case is very durable along with the screwdriver that comes with it. The problem is that the bit tips are very weak and bend REALLY easy. I understand that you should be gentle while using small bits like this, but these tips just hardly have the strength to take out commercial screws and they bend way to easily. They should have coated the tips in something stronger. I probably wouldn't recommend these to a friend.

  3. Amazing!... For a cheap tool set, it's fairly doing the job. I bought this tool set just for the Torx T9 driver, but i'm amazed by the other drivers. Excellent product!

  4. I use this set while working on computers and audio gear, works great when there's multiple screw types on one unit.

  5. Inexpensive; bought for the torq bits. Allowed me to disassemble 2 laptop hard drives no problem.

Bits are a little soft though; so not sure how long they will last.

5 comments about Bondhus 12632 GorillaGrip« Set of 8 Star Fold-up Keys, sizes T6-T25.
  1. Sturdy and light weight. Nice attention to detail; the contours on the body really improve the grip. More convenient than screwdriver style for most applications.

  2. I bought this to tighten the tiny screw used to install a towel bar in my bathroom. It seems to be made of excellent materials but there are two huge issues that I took with it:

1.) none of the screwdrivers lock into place so they swivels around while you're trying to screw something in.

2.) The cary case handle is so chubby that I couldn't rotate it whatsoever since the towel bar is so close to the wall.

While the T8 driver was the perfect size, this tool ended up being virtually useless for it's intended purpose due to the handle being so thick.

  3. I was looking for a set of torx keys so that I could have them around to some work on computer equipment. This was the most inexpensive set I found that had the largest number of sizes. It's great. There may be some applications that it doesn't work for - for example if you need a long key or perhaps need to apply a lot of torque. But for work on small electronics it's just fine.

  4. I bought this because I was changing the lenses in a car window strobe light and the screws were set way down so I needed a long key to reach them. I have a number of sets of bits for a screwdriver or drill, but you need something like this if you need a long narrow shaft on your torxdriver. The tool seems to be well made for what it is, I wouldn't run over it because it does have plastic parts, but I would use it on a daily basis if I needed to.

  5. I've only had this set for a short period of time but I KNOW they are quality. I used to do some advertising/design work for Bondhus. They put a lot of thought into their tools and the metal used is INCREDIBLY hard. This set will go great with my bike, to make little adjustments as well as when I need to open up a cell phone for repair. MOST cells now days use T-keys.

5 comments about Leatherman 830684 Charge TTi with Leather Sheath and Gift Tin.
  1. I ordered this from Amazon and desperately wanted to like it for all the features, but it seemed flimsy and not well made at all. There were fingerprints on the metal that were visible through the un-opened plastic and the stainless steel seemed to be of lower quality, so I sent it back to Amazon. My brother has an older Leatherman and it is a solid and well built tool, but I can't say much for their new stuff. After I returned this one, I tried the Surge and the Wave from Target but still was not impressed with the quality. I wound up buying the Swiss Tool RS from Amazon and I am extremely impressed with its build quality and quality of the metal. Immediately when I pulled it out of the box it just felt heavier and more solid. It just stinks that Leatherman has moved parts production to China because I really liked the clip point blades and how easy the tools open. If Swiss Tool had clip point blades and easier opening tools, Leatherman would not even be a contender.

  2. This multitool is great to have on person. You definitly become reliant on it through your daily tasks. The quality and material is top knotch, just wish it had replaceable wirecutter inserts. The pliers can be a bit troublesome to use, making sure you don't pinch yourself while bearing down on something. Once you do it a couple of times you become aware. All tools lock in place perfectly and have had no problems aside for previously mentioned. Great tool, a bit pricey but worth it.

  3. All the product i bought from Amazon wa in good condition when i received it.

  4. Nice, well made product. Everything appeared fine except for scissors - somewhat flimsy due to insufficiently swaged pivot. Suggestion for Leatherman QA - a few more wall posters "Quality is job #1".

  5. It was a tough choice choosing a multi-tool. If you didn't know already just about everyone makes them these days. The prices of these tools range from $30-$150. I had one of the original styles of Leatherman (The kind that you had to open the pliers to get at any of the tools.) It was durable and I like the idea of supporting a US manufacturing company so I set out to buy another. The two that I was considering was the Skeletool and the Charge TTi. This model looked like it had about everything and it's a good feeling to get the one that has it all. The Skeletool looked very cool but I didn't think I could "live with less" or however their new slogan goes. The TTi was only about 3 more ounces in weight and came with a much better knife and tool set.

Reading the reviews of this tool made me laugh. There was everything from flimsy construction reviews to "The tool was missing the saw." After receiving the tool and using it for a month I can say that everything was included as listed and the tool is truly a marvel of engineering and workmanship (I LOVE the unique feel of the titanium body). These tools have come a long way from the original tools and the way each tool locks into place and how each piece works together is unbelievable.

I think were many people make the mistake with a Leatherman is that they are expecting the refined nature of a Victorinox Swiss Army knife or something similar. With a Leatherman the blades and tools are not polished to a mirror finish. They are punched out of very high-grade steel and run though a rock shaker for a couple of days to knock the unwanted metal hunks off. The Leatherman reminds me of what a soviet Cold-War era knock-off of a Swiss Army knife would look like... not nearly as pretty but probably more functional and sturdy.

My new Charge TTi is beautiful in its own Industrialist way. If you are looking for a museum showpiece of a knife I suggest going another rout. If you are worried about the quality of this tool you can buy with confidence; barring abuse, this thing will likely be around longer than you will! I have already used it may times and while camping it was particularly useful. A multi-tool will never replace even a small toolbox, but when they are the only option, it's a very good item to have.

  1. I brought this sharpener and I recently sharpened my Cold Steel Trail Boss with it and it takes like 20 minutes to sharpen it, it wears my arm down after a couple of minutes, and the sharpener is already wearing down! I'm planning next week to get the Fiskars Hatchet, the Fiskars Splitting Axe, and I'm also planning to get a Granfors Bruks Sharpener to replace this one.

P.S. The reason I gave this sharpener 2 stars instead of 1 is because at least it made the axe sharp again.

  2. This is the best wood splitter. It is much superior to the 6# maul I have used, even though it is much lighter at 4 1/2 #.

The handle length is just right for me at age 81, but might not suit a young Paul Bunyan.

In summary, I have been splitting wood a long time, but this is easily the most improved wood tool I have used.

    Bob,, Maryland

  3. Highly recommended - I use it after each time I use my axe to keep it sharp.

  4. This item is terrific. It does a good job sharpening everything, from axes on down to knives.

  5. In 20 passes, your knife should go from dull to sharp. Works OK with larger blades, like the Fiskars axes too. So easy to use.
