- Great clamps that don't mar my projects. They keep glued panels much flatter then my pipe clamps. This set(Bessey KBK2450 Large cabinet Door Kit)is the best value I seen for Bessy clamps
- I've tried many types of clamps, and the Bessey are by far the best. I love them, and unless I need more then I have, they are the only clamps I use.
- Ive always wanted Besseys but did want to spend the $. A sale on Amazon convinced me and now that I have them, I dont understand how I survived without them.
- Bessey clamps are the best clamps you can purchase, but the price does reflect that. Hardly any bending in the bar when stretching distances of 50 inches and TONS of clamping force. They are a bit heavy, but not if you're used to pipe clamps.
- My woodworker husband purchases clamps at least once a year from Amazon. He always buys Bessey and has been well served by them. As any woodworker knows, you can never have too many clamps.

- If you run a lot of coax, you need this tool. I install cable television, so needless to say, I run a lot of wire during the day. This tool cuts the time it takes me to run a line almost in half. Instead of hammering in individual staples, just point and shoot. Pretty much the only surfaces it won't staple into are metal, asbestos siding, and concrete/stucco. I only wish it could hold more staples at a time. It's also a little on the pricey side, and I almost didn't buy it because it's so expensive. But having used it, I'd say it was definitely worth the investment. It's earned a permanent place in my tool belt.
- I install Electronic Security Systems & I find this tool invaluable, saves time, Its finished appearance is neat
& it doesn't cost the earth :-)Ohh & if a piece of it breaks, you can get spares for it too!

- Might want a standup roller for larger jobs, but reasonable price for what it does. Collapsible handle is a nice, well designed, feature. Tough construction too.

- I work in an auto shop and use my tools heavily every day. I mainly buy SK because they're made to take a beating day in and day out without quitting and won't break the bank like Snap-On or Mac. The SuperKrome finish looks great and keeps the tools looking like new for years. My father has 30 year old SK tools that don't have a spot or rust or corrosion on them.
This 44 piece set is an outstanding one that'll cover most jobs that require a 1/4" drive tool. The two extensions come in very handy and the molded case keeps all the tools nice and snug. The fit and finish are typical high SK quality so if you're looking to invest in a high quality 1/4" socket set look no further than this one.
- The quality of this set is fantastic. Can't even be compared typical retail brands like Craftsman, Kobalt, Husky. It is on par (I think better) than the Snap-On brand. This is a lifetime set and it is worth spending the extra dollars. The superkrome finish is great, it feels different than anything I have put my hands on.
- Sockets are in my opinion a serious STRONG POINT of the S-K tool line. To the point - S-K makes, in my opinion, some of the very best professional grade sockets to be found anywhere, no matter the brand or the price. Point blank - period - they are comparable to the very best, and as good as it gets.
In my personal tool box I have literally hundreds of sockets. Standard height - tall - chrome - impact - 1/4 - 3/8 - 1/2 - you name it - if you need it to work on a car - good chance it's in there. I have sockets from Snap-On, from MAC Tools, Matco, and Cornwell. And I have sockets from S-K. I would say S-K sockets make up at least 25% of all the sockets I own - and they are absolutely fantastic. They grip bolts with rounded off corners with ease. They will turn anything that the big boys sockets will turn. I have put my impacts on 1/2 inch Dynabrade pneumatic impact guns without any deforming on the square attachment hole. What can I say? THEY WORK! They hold up! And they do everything and anything you ask of them to do.
The WORST think I can say about them is that it IS possible to scratch the chrome on the deep well sockets for example if you use them to loosen up a lug nut on a wheel. I did NOT say scratch THROUGH - just a superficial mark on the chrome itself. Now if you used the impacts instead - that is not a problem. I just needed a thin wall socket because of clearance on a Porsche, and noticed this later. Probably any of the others - no matter the brand - would have gotten a mark also - so I do not criticize them for this. Their Chrome seems to be as hard and as thick as any on my Snap-Ons or Macs.
Now about the ratchet handle itself. Folks Mechanics are fairly finicky when it comes to their personal ratchet handles. This is a tool they use all day long every day. They may have 100 sockets - but I guarantee you every mechanic has a favorite ratchet handle that he uses with all of them. This said - I would be surprised if that ratchet handle happened to be the SK handle included in this set. The reason is purely subjective. This ratchet handle is sturdy, durable, well made, and completely capable of providing years of trouble free reliable use. It has a good grip, and by any measure, is excellent. However.... It just does not "FEEL" right to me - particularly in the "click" that I feel. It feels - what is the right word? Harsh? Beyond this I am not a fan of ratchet handles that select direction by rotating on the centerline of the socket. I prefer the Snap-On / Matco design where there is a separate lever you can easily flip with your thumb - one way - or the other. For MY money - I would buy this set for all of the parts - then buy a Snap-On ratchet handle - keeping the SK handle for a backup. Oh - wait - that is EXACTLY what I did and have in my personal tool box!
All in all - a stellar superstar product - at a price the average home mechanic can afford. I give this product 5 stars - only because I can not give it 6......
- SK makes the best socket sets available, in my experience. I've never found anything that comes close except for kobalt (which I'm told is made by SK?) But I prefer the SK ratchets. If taken care of they will last for a very long time. This 1/4" set if great for working on small engines and equipment. I also use it around the house. My only complaint would be that the plastice case doesn't seem as sturdy as the metal ones from years ago. It also takes up more space -- It wouldn't fit in my portable toolbox. This seems to be a trend in professional tool sets though. I suppose it's assumed that most people will keep their tools in a large chest or cabinet in a garage. It's also worth noting that every piece in the set is engraved with USA. Something that's not seen often enough anymore.
- Great tools, for home or professional use.
Note: these are chrome sockets, not for powertool use... use black oxide coated with powertools.
