- This is a pretty basic product. I bought it for an employee to use at work, and used it once at home before giving it to him.
The only real complaint is about the sleeve. The wrenches are not very easy to pull out, and you need to pivot larger keys away before pulling out smaller ones on the same row.
As you can see by the minority of the above complaint, the tools is OK and does the job.

- Wondered if this caulking gun could be that much better than the cheap versions I've owned previously- without a doubt, it is. Solid construction, and control is precise. Have a lot of painting to do and this will make the job much easier.

- I have had a couple of nice larger diagonal cutters for awhile, but I've been wanting something to work on small electrical projects, and these are great. They feel great in your hand and cut solid copper with no problem. I've cut up to 10 gauge solid copper with ease and I use them all the time to trim guitar strings and they've been doing a great job with no signs of wear for the past couple of years.
If you're looking for a smaller diagonal cutter I would highly recommend these.

4 comments about Stanley 10-099 6-Inch Classic 99 Retractable Utility Knife.
- I have one of these that is probably 10 years old; I'd have older ones if I hadn't lost them. I might still have them if they were as bright as my other yellow plastic one. Yes, you need a screwdriver (or a dime) to change blades, but you can store about 5 fresh ones inside the handle, real handy if you can't get back to your supply easily. This model will let you set the blade at several different positions so you don't need to expose the whole blade.
- When I was in 8th grade in technology class, this was the prized utility cutters among the class. Unlike other utility cutters we had this was lightweight so using it repetively was less a burden and practically unbreakable (I should know because I accidently broke some of the others after repetitive collisions to the hard floor)no matter how many accidents or kids just trying to break it for fun. As for its cutting ability, this blade so sharp and sturdy that along with normal cutting of boxes we have cut thick rubber, half inch dowels, and the dare devils even cut some thick copper wiring with this knife without the blade breaking like the other utility knives we had. So over all this thing is cheap, light, sharp as ... and simply just the best regular utility knife out there.
- I have owned this knife for over 10 years and though it is scratched from rough rides in several toolboxes, it still works like new. Although this knife does not have a fancy 'ergonomic' grip or flashy color scheme going for it, what it does do is perform reliably well for a long long time, and not cost you much up front! I agree with the previous reviewers - some of the best features of this knife are the ability to store up to five blades inside the knife body, and the ability to expose the blade at several different settings.
Now that I have set up a woodworking shop in my garage, the handy hole in the end of this knife makes it easy to hang on a pegboard hook. If you need a real workhorse of a utility knife, I cannot recommend a better one than this!
- There is nothing like a good tool that does its job everytime. Other knives may look cooler or feel squishier, but the Stanley 10-099 Utility Knife will always be as near to perfection as may be found. Solidly built and utilizing an ingenious mechanism for replacing and storing blades (a simple screw to hold its two halves together), this knife is utility par excellence.
Look no further, unless you like squishy grips and well thought-out color schemes. Did I mention the unmistakable positive feeling of the blade-locking mechanism?

- I ordered this item over 1 month ago and still have not received it. I get notices staing possible delivery dates which come and go but still no pliers. I just received another a couple days ago saying it will be another couple of weeks before delivery. There is another item (door lock) which was ordered at the same time and I am having the same problem with. If a product is not not available for shipment within a reasonable time it should not be listed for sale. I am VERY dissapointed with AMAZON>
- We use these side cutters in a fencing operation in New Zealand and we find that they are the only cutters that will take the rough handling.
The cutters will cut all the wire we use from high tensile to soft wire.
Also it only takes 4 -5 days to get them landed on my door step from the USA to New Zealand. Keep up the good work Amazon and we will be back
- These are great side cutters, they are a fantastic price and they only took 6days to get to me in Melbourne, Australia.
I'm an electrician so they will get used every day and I'm sure they will last many year.

2 comments about ProTool RHS001 Ratcheting Hex Keyin Standard.
- I purchased this product basically because I needed a single sized hex to fix my garbage disposal and this tool was just as cheap as the sets but came with a nifty wratchet. I have to admit that this tool is a little wierd to use at first, but once I got the hang of it, its pretty cool, and easy to use.
Even when not used as a wratchet having that base to hold onto really beats holding the hex by itself and gives gripping and twisting something difficult to turn normally a great hand making a job easier.
- This is a neat concept, but practical it is not. The bits fall down if you use it in the position shown in the photo. You can tighten the screws if you have a metric wrench but they still are loose and get in the way. The handle with ratchets pop off. The bit you want to use is not always in the center of the block so you are trying to twist the whole assembly while off center which does not work well. I was disappointed with the overall performance of the tool. If you want a ratcheting hex key get a Chapman set. No I do not work for them I have used them for years and they are a lot easier to use then this is.
