- This is a good allen wrench set, the ball-drive end is a nice feature that makes it easier to use at an angle. The star-drive set is a nice bonus. I recommend this set.
- The Allen wrenches are well made and come in an excellent assortment of sizes. The balldriver tip and long shaft make these wrenches particularly suited for hard-to-reach areas.
I have not used the Torx wrenches, as I already have a set. The handle that the torx wrenches fold into is plastic and feels a little flimsy, but this is a "bonus set" and didn't influence my purchase decision.
- These are as solid as you think, and the holder allows for a quick sizing to occur while they're still snugged in the set. The free fold up set is not really for serious use though because of the inability to torque aggressively at anywhere near a 90 degree.

2 comments about General Tools 102 0-Inch to 1-Inch .001-Inch Graduation Micrometer.
- It was a gift to my boyfriends son. It arrived promply. He needed it for school and likes it.
- The General Tools Number 102 (analog) Micrometer is a handy tool to have around the house if you need to make precision measurements of external dimensions up to 1 inch in size.
It is well made (the screw mechanism has a nice smooth feel) and the only exception that I have to report is that the calibration instructions (on the paper backside of the plastic cover that the micrometer comes in) are misleading as they refer to a previous (slightly different) mechanical design (I spoke with a General Tools' Engineer and this is what he told me). Instead of a 'hex tool' being needed to loosen the base ring (my term) on the micrometer (to allow the zero adjustment to be shifted) a small flat blade screwdriver is needed. In addition (the instructions say nothing about this) the screw (to loosen for the zero adjustment calibration) isn't visible until you back-off the adjusting 'thimble' (that you turn when making measurements) a couple of tenths of an inch.
Like any precision device the micrometer needs to be treated gently (i.e. don't toss it unprotected into your toolbox with screwdrivers and wrenches). If you open the package carefully (it's only secured with a couple of heavy staples) it can be reused for storing the micrometer in.

2 comments about Channellock 480 5-1/2-Inch Jaw Capacity 20-Inch Tongue and Groove Plier.
- The 480 is an overgrown version of the common tongue and groove pliers that have been around for eons. These pliers don't grip like a pipe wrench or chain tongs, but are better than common slip-joint pliers. The 480 is very well made and has a capacity of around 5 inchs. I don't believe I will ever use this tool at it's rated capacity, and I probably won't use it often, but it exerts a lot of pressure on smaller items and I am glad I purchased them.
- These are huge pliers. They afford a degree of leverage occasionally needed and fill that bill excellently. They are a quality tool you would expect from this brand. If you need an extra latge plier this is the one.

4 comments about Channellock 911 9-1/2-Inch Cable Cutter.
- These are the best cutters for cutting copper and tin coated copper cable with out flatening out the wire. I cut cable up to .5" with these and I have to braze or micro weld them together and most cutters flaten out the wire making it very diffecult to get a good weld. These cutters have a special curved cutting edge and they cut from all sides. If you work in a wire mill and run the big cable; than these are the cutters for you!
- I am very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship or Channellock tools. I use several of your tools.
The delivery was very precise and just as stated for the delivery. Good Job.

3 comments about Stiletto Tools Inc TI14MS Titan? 14 Oz Titanium Framing Hammer With Straight Han.
- For those unfortunate enough to have some form of repetitive stress injury (for example, tennis/framers elbow) this hammer is excellent. Due to the highly ductal quality of titanium, there's less rebound--transferring more power to the nail--so the hammer drives like a 22 to 24 oz framer. If it's still too light for you, wait for the 16 oz titanium. It's less like a California framer and more a classic Vaughn style and drives like a 28 oz.
- The hammer that I purchased is a casting, and not a forged hammer head that I thought I was going to receive. As a result one claw broke off on the first nail that I tried to pull. It certainly is not worth the price! Steer away from this one, if you expect to use it for more than a wall decoration. Doesn't anyone make a forged titanium hammer?
- The last company I worked for had several guys that were hard core Stiletto believers. The weight of the titanium is awesome. It allows anyone to drive nails all day long without getting a tired arm, and tennis elbow in the long run. However, the handles are usually junk. One guy went through 2 Stiletto handles in 2 weeks, then finally got a Craftsman handle. The Craftsman never broke on him. I recommend buying a different handle right off, or drilling a hole through the top of the handle and packing a rod (steel or metal) into the hole so the rod goes past the base of the Titanium head where the handles normally break. The way it appears with all the Titanium wood handle Stiletto hammers they are either a really good hammer, or they are junk and break. BTW pulling nails with Stiletto hammers voids the warranty. They recommend a nail puller to pull ALL nails. Spend the extra $130 and get the solid Titanium Stiletto. You won't regret it and it will last forever.

- This knife is well crafted and beautiful. It's also pretty well balanced.
I wish that the included sheath came with some straps - that said, it is Kydex and it has a clip so you can wear it at the hip or on your camping bag or whatever.
Laces work just fine in lieu of straps.
