- My 6 year old grandson just loves the set. He couldn't wait to put on the suspenders and goggles and work gloves. What a good idea!!
- This is a great toy! we bought it for my nephew. He wanted to feel like he was using "real" tools just like dad.
- My son absolutely loves this. He feels like a real construction worker. I had to find something for him to hammer and nail. Be careful of the hammer, though. It's the real deal.
- Item originally arrived with a defect. I called the seller and was very pleased with the service. A replacement tool kit was sent out the same day. Personnel were most polite and helpful and the product is excellent. I would do additional business with them without hesitation.
- This was a great product! It will be a Christmas present for my son, but I am tickled pink with the quality!! This will be great!!

- Very pleased with this multi tool. I like the fact that this comes with a cache of bits so you really do not need to order the extra bit set unless you think you are one who would need multiple size bits. As an owner of apartments who enjoys tinkering around, I find I use this tool daily although I could have purchased a less expensive unit since I do not use may of the features it offers. I just like knowing I have the best and the most versatile tool around.
- I was a big fan of the L-Man Wave and carried one for several years. I loved the convenience of having the blades, saw & file open from the outside. These components also featured high quality cross-locks similar to the ones on a lot of premium pocket knives. These basic design features are maintained in the Charge TTi.
The quality of these particular items - blades, files and saw - seem to me to be the things that set one multi-tool apart from the other. The quality and design of one screwdriver bit or can opener is pretty much the same as that of another. And the good multi-tools all have "decent" pliers. But it is not so with cutting blades, saws and files. Here there can be a big difference.
The L-Man Charge is NOT the largest multi-tool I own but its two cutting blades (my others have just one) saw and file ARE the largest featured on any of them. I believe this is possible because of the fact they are accessed from the outside. Their size need not be limited to make room for the pliers to fold into the handles as with tools whose blades are all accessed from inside.
The saw, file and the blades are not only larger but also of very good quality. The saw cuts as effectively as any I have used with very little clogging or sticking. One side of the file is diamond coated, making it more versatile. There is a serrated sheepsfoot blade with an integral cutting hook (very useful) and best of all the main, straight-edged blade is of premium S30V steel. If you know knives you know this is top quality stuff (and not cheap). Most other companies - even the good ones - don't even publish what they are building their tools from. I get the feeling there is a lot of 440a (or lesser steel) out there.
The "inside" tools on the Charge TTi now have a very smooth and solid locking mechanism which was lacking on the original Wave. This is a definite improvement. And compared to the Wave the Charge TTi has a better look and feel to it.
There are extra niceties. At nearly 9 oz, the Charge TTi is in the "slightly too big for comfy pocket carry" class. So you want to use a sheath but I wear sweats a lot. So the "pocket" clip allows me to tuck the Charge TTi in my waist band where I hardly notice it (but it is always with me). The built-in lanyard attachment is nice, too, and an improvement on the Wave's. (I don't like accidentally dropping and losing my expensive tools - so a good lanyard attachment is a must for me.)
Strangely enough, I have mixed feelings about the interchangable bit-driver feature. Since I don't use the sheath much, I am often without the extra bits, decreasing the overall versatility of the tool. But I was just fine with the original Wave, which didn't even offer that versatility. Even if I leave the bit kit behind, this is as versatile a tool as the Wave was. So this is a complaint that really makes no sense.
In addition to the original L-man Wave tool, I have a Gerber Compact Sport 400 (smaller, lighter) and an SOG Powerlock S63 EOD (larger, heavier). These are very respectable tools in their own right and the SOG in particular seems a little better than the L-Man Charge TTi in a couple of respects (see the upcoming review). But on balance I feel that the Charge TTi is the best tool I own and the only one I would rate as high as a 5. And if I could only keep one, this would be it.
Post Script: See my other reviews for a head to head comparison between the TTi and Victorinox's Swisstool X.
- I've had a number of multi tools over the years and the Leatherman Charge TTi is the best one I've ever used. One area that I would like to see improved is the quality of Philip screw bit. It's nice to have a replaceable bit but after only using it for a week it looks like it won't last. It's also on the expensive side compared with other similar tools.
- This is a great multitool for sure! I can think of no negative things to say about it.
The feel and build quality is top notch. The rounded titanium handles feel great in the hand and the pivot and lock up of the tools is rock solid.
If you are considering a multitool, the titanium handles and the s30v blade make this a great choice!
- I love everything about this knife except the pliers. The pliers jaws do not lock onto the handles, so once you close the jaws and try to open them again the handles pivot but the jaws stay closed because the handle hinges are looser than the hinge of the jaws. Consequently the pliers jaws do not open by opening the handles and one must use both hands to pull the jaws open. Very irritating. What's worse is that the handle hinge has a tamper proof screw so it can not be adjusted with out sending it back to the factory. Gerber has a better design.

- For the occasional user and/or homeowner, this is a great little unit for the money..highly recommend
- This item is great for the price. Although the specs in the box only idicate an accuracy of +/- 1degree, I have measured and checked various angles to find an accuracy of +/- .1 degree, which is the precision of the LCD. It is a decent construction extruded aluminum body with plastic components at the joints. Very well worth the money when compared to more expensive name brands that will cast well over $100.
- I may be the wrong person using this angle finder.Being a machinest all my life, I must deal with thousanths of an inch and seconds of a degree. So whe I took this out of the box and checked it with my master square,it was .6egrees off. When your cutting 22.5 degree angles,.6 of a degree makes a large mistake when yuo put your miters together. It was within the 1 degree +/-.One degree is a mile when you put your miters together.
- For the price, this is a great buy. Accuracy is as described. It would be nice to be a alittle more accurate, but cannot complain for the price paid. Workmanship seems very nice.
- still use my old squares but love the digital readout for easy miter setup...nice unit for the price.

- I've gotten more use out of these things than you could imagine. They are good tools, I've broken 3 already though, that's why it only gets 4 stars. I probably use them for more than they are able to handle. I haven't tried to send them back to leatherman yet for a repair. I think they have a lifetime warranty so I might try that out.
- Just a great little knife. The quality of the build and the spring loading of this very useful pocket knife are very high. I find it useful around the house and work without being too large to carry around as my "regular" sized leatherman.
- I bought a Swiss-tech multitool in addition to the leatherman, as I couldn't initially decide on one. The leatherman is clearly superior. It feels very well made; the pliers really work great. As stated, there isn't a dedicated philips blade, though the straight screwdrivers double to work in philips screws. They'll get the job done in most cases. The only minor gripe I have is that there may be too much in there; I really only need a knife, 1 philips/straight screwdriver, and the pliers. I think that the pliers take up much of the bulk though, so eliminating these other tools wouldn't save much space/weight. If you're concerned about size/weight, and don't need the pliers, you're probably better off with something else (the Utili-key is great); otherwise, the squirt is a nearly perfect keychain tool.
- This is my third Leatherman. This is the one I will carry daily. The Wave requires the belt sheath to carry and the Micra is all about the scissors. The pliers and knife are getting the most use.
- I gave this to my boyfriend as part of his birthday present. It's much smaller than you think it will be but works elegantly and is very, very well constructed. Excellent.

5 comments about Estwing E3-22P 22oz Rock Pick.
- This is a typical Estwing construction as far as the handle and grip are concerned. The head already has the corners and edges beveled so it doesn't chip. The pick end comes to a point so if you're looking for a chisel edge this is not the tool for you. The weight works well - that is, it is sufficiently heavy to accomplish the job, but light enough not to be a burden to carry around and for easy one-handed use. The only thing I've wanted but have not yet seen is a leather carrying attachment for use with a belt; it probably exists, I just haven't found it. It would be nice if Amazon advertised the two together. I've only had this rock pick for a short while and the rocks are already yielding up their treasures!
- How well I remember it...the insult..the challenge and the glove across the face...we each embedded the pick end of our Estwing in a handy log, backed up a pace, and stood, sneering and staring each other down until someone in the surrounding crowd yelled "GO!"...
Seriously, if you have a professional or hobby need to pry apart and break rocks, the 22 oz. Estwing is it. And, it can be a handy camp tool - besides the obvious use as a hammer, the pick can be used to reduce downed, cracked tree parts to firewood by prying in the cracks.
- My entire family fossil hunts. This is the best all around rock pick we have used. We bought four if that tells you anything.
- The best rock hammer there is. It was recommended to me by my geology professor, and I would recommend it to everybody.
- I use this to sample rocks in old mines and when i am gold prospecting. I own the 16oz also. I would not use any other brand of rock hammer.

5 comments about Calculated Industries 44080 Construction Master Pro Construction Calculator.
- Building scenery for the theater we are always under a time & acuracy crunch. The Construction master pro DT helps us to handle both foot and Inch manipulations and construction detailing. The rise & run & diagonal calculations are a timesaver when we are dealing with raked platforming or out of true flats. The compound miter key has already saved me hours of fussing on oddball scenic units. The ability to store risers heights in the stair calculations allows us to easily determine stair details by using our stock, but not building code compliant stairs. The calculators flexibility is one of its greatest assetts and one of its great drawbacks as well. I wish that there was a help system in the unit remind the user of how to use some of the more arcane controls. The included instruction book is great, but a book is not the fastest way when you need to use a function now that you last used months ago.
- I now have 2 of these calculators, plus two hand held models. As a construction superintendent for a major contractor in Wisconsin, I would be absolutely lost without them! As usual Amazon carries what we need, and delivers when we need it.
- The construction master is a great product, hands down. The only problem with this "desktop" version is that the keypad is a little funky.
If they raised the keys just a little higher and made them easier to press, it would be fantastic. Unfortunately, you have to press kind of hard to get the buttons to respond. When you're trying to do lots of fast calculations, it gets frustrating, because you have to be very deliberate about each and every keystroke.
Otherwise, great product, great time saver.
- This tool is a must if you are in the construction industry and use a calculator. In my company we must have at least 2 dozen combined between desktop and pocket version.
- Great construction calculator. This was a hard to find item that only Amazon had in stock. I even checked Texas' largest surveying supplier in San Antonio, and they didn't have it in stock.
I love the calculator and use it every day as a Project Manager of a commercial construction project.

5 comments about Milwaukee 48-08-0401 Quik-Lok Job Saw.
- I highly recommend this to anyone with a toolbox. Literally a 1001 uses and still counting....
- There I was, looking around on Amazon for nothing in particular, and up pops this little baby. My boss (construction and demo) has a similar thing, but it's old and rickety and has a manual mechanism for locking the blades.
This thing has a nice weight to it, the nifty Quick-Lok Milwaukee key, and works quite well for small cuts in tight places, or for finishing the Sawzall cut when you want to avoid slicing into the electricity.
The handle has the ability to screw in a broom handle, but I think that'd be kind of silly unless you loan the tool to your grandpa so he can cut that sprig off his apple tree in the back yard.
This is one of those tools where the boss quietly looks at it without saying anything, and you know he secretly wants to hold it and have one for himself.
- Get one. Wish I would have purchased it when I got my super sawzall. They both use the same blades, and they have specialty blades for the job saw. Check it out.
- This review is for anyone who wants to remove illegal signs placed high on poles:
This is the PERFECT tool to put on the end of your shark stick for removing illegal signs posted high up on poles. Add the Shur Line 06572L Easy Reach Extendable Pole and you're ready to go.
Shur Line 06572L Easy Reach Extendable Pole
It screws securely on the end of your telescoping pole. Give the tip a twist and insert the blade. Let go and the blade is secure. Give it another twist and the blade pops right out. The ultimate in convenience!
The blade that comes with it is all you need. It cuts right through corplast signs quickly and easily. (I would rather take a sign down by cutting rather than whacking anyway.)
If you like taking down signs, but always had trouble with the expo signs posted way up high (Gun Expo, Tattoo Expo, Reptile Expo, etc.), the extension pole and this knife is the ultimate combo for you! Those signs are mounted on wooden stakes and then are taped high up on poles. This cuts right through the tape and drops the signs in seconds! (Just be careful not to drop signs onto nearby cars, especially on windy days.)
Beautify your city. Help remove roadside street spam. This combo and a box cutter for low signs is all you need!
- Mine ended up in the garden shed. I use it with an aggressive blade for pruning tree branches.

5 comments about Pro-Quality 1/4" 20-200 Inch-Pound Automatic Torque Wrench.
- Don't be alarmed if your package insert reads 20-150 in-lb, since the wrench itself is marked to 220 in-lb. Perhaps the +/- 4% accuracy only appies up to 200 in-lb. A 10% torque bonus!
- Works well. Reading the settings requires my reading glasses, but overall, I am very satisfied.
- I looked in several places in our town and could only fine wrenches that were 2-3x more expensive. This is a high quality tool and was a good transaction.
- As received, the torque wrench was so badly out of calibration that it was totally useless. The torque settings on the wrench produced torques almost twice as high as the indicated values over the entire torque range. In addition, reproducibility was so poor that I was even unable to make a 'correction' table. Fortunately I discovered the problem before using the wrench or I would have surely stripped out the fasteners. The wrench appears to be a knock-off of the high quality 'Snap-On' wrench which is available on-line for ~$135. Don't waste your money on this product - buy the 'Snap-On' tool.
- The minor calibrations are only in metric while the major calibrations are in both inch-pounds and Newton-Meters. As the inch-pound major settings go by steps of 20, it's not hard to figure half way for 20, 3/4 for 35, etc.
Quality and storage case seem good for an inexpensive tool.
The range also goes to 240 inch-pounds, not 200 as the title suggests.

5 comments about Victorinox Swisscard Lite, Ruby.
- I bought this item for a groomsman gift and it was well liked! Very useful and easy to carry.
- I always end up being stuck without a pen. This tool has it all and fits nice into your wallet. I have shown two other people this tool and they both ordered one. Well worth the money.
- It's very hard to give you an accurate description on anything. I can give you the dimensions, weight and comparison to an object but it still won't give you a good visualization until you actually hold it. I will try to do my best to have you visualize the Swiss Card. Go into your wallet, really, go get 3 credit cards and place them on top of each other. The 3 credit cards has the same dimension and thickness of the Swiss Card. It is small and useful.
The Card its Self - It is 4 x 3 and as thick as 3 credit cards. It's very lite and thin. It has 13 tools (Amazon's description) with 6 actual tools. Knife, scissors, tweezers, screw driver, pin and pen. The other; ruler, light, magnifying glass. The other 4 are the different sizes of screw driver bit (13 tools). It's translucent which looks very cool held up to a light and is very useful.
The Knife - The knife is the same knife that comes with the fold-in Multi-tool. Same length and thickness but the handle is different. It is a little flimsy. The knife is good to cut open envelopes, cut strings, open plastic bags and whatever you need to open that doesn't require sawing or some muscle to open. The handle will break.
The Scissors - The scissors are the same ones in the Multi-Tool. These are a little bit more sturdy than the knife. It's fully metal with an "O" handle. The main scissor blade is fixed into the the handle and the second blade is attached like the one in the Multi-Tool. It is a little hard to hold. What I do is insert my pinkie finger into the ring and let the scissors rest on my fingers and then use my thumb to operate the cutting action. They are useful but not too often.
The Screw Driver - A lot of people are saying the screw driver is useless. I don't find this at all. When I first looked at it I though "Well, this will do nothing". When I tried it out, it worked great for me. I put together a stand up fan with out getting frustrated of having it slip or dropping out of my hand. The screw driver is the size of a quarter with the bits cut out. It actually has a lot of torque.
The Pen - Now this it useless. First off it has Blue ink. For some reason, I hate Blue ink. It's very hard to hold and the ink dries out very quickly in the tip. You have to rub the tip for literally a minute on a piece of paper to wet the ink. If you really need to find a pen, it's there but don't expect it as a good backup.
The Tweezers - They're OK. It's hard to actually get a splinter out with these but it can be done if the splinter in very superficial. There really is no use other than that.
The Pin - It's really just a pin. I guess if you need a pin, it's there. It's not a bad pin but I never really use it.
The Magnifying Glass - I have always found that the Swiss Army Knife Magnifying Glass was great. It's the same one in the Multi-Tool but fixed into the card its self. It doesn't make what you are magnifying bubbly or warped. It works very well.
The Red Light - When I first turned it on, it didn't give off much light and it's hard to see things in the dark with a dim red light. But I have used it may times. I've used it to find things under car seats, to see what the temperature was on the thermostat and little things that need a little light so you can see it. It's more useful than you would think. You can change the battery very easily. You just lift the tab up and place a new one it. It takes a CR 1025 Lithium Coin Cell battery. It might be hard to find a replacement battery though.
The Ruler - It's impossible to read and is only 3 inches. Not much use here. It does have a straight edge to scrape up things. Salt, sugar, etc.
After writing this review I realized there are a lot of useless things on the Swisscard but I use it all the time. If you buy it, you will use it. Sadly, Swiss Army Knives are impossible to find in-stores now. I live in Chicago and can't find many knives. So I hope this review helps with on-line buying. It's worth $20.
- There's not a day that goes by where I'm not pulling this Swisscard out of my wallet for something, whether it's to open a box with the knife, screw something with the screwdriver or jot a note down when I can't find or am too lazy to find a pen. The red LED is an added bonus, so when I invariably drop something under my desk or at night, I can look for it without irritating people with a white light. Plus, the red (swisscard) on red (LED) is a pretty slick look.
- This was purchased as a gift for my fiance, who has carried the original Swiss Card since long before I met him. One of the corners swivels open on the original one - that came off after years of use and it started separating. When looking to get a new one, I chose the Swiss Card Lite mainly because it has a screwdriver piece. Now he'll stop using the blade part when he needs a screwdriver. I trust that this one will hold up to the abuse he puts his wallet through, as well as the first did.
