5 comments about DeWalt DC527 18-Volt NiCad Fluorescent Area Light, No Battery.
- This neat hanging light gives an amazing amount of light for it's 13 watt output. serves my wife's needs in our horse barn as she gets home from work at almost dark in the wintertime. Five stars DeWalt and Amazon.
- we love these bought four two for me and two for my brother on the 4/3 promo. we use them daily in our work and the are indespensable. But do beware they will drain a battery in an hour or less. (depending on your amp hour 2.0- ....2.5 like xrp+'s lasts a bit longer ) The up side is They put out a very large volume of light and make are old dewalt lights totally obsolete.
- If you have DeWalt 18-Volt Batteries, this is a great addition. The light is very flexible and bright. The light lasts for 2 1/2 to 3 hours and does not dim, but goes out at the end of a charge. The top hook is great for hanging from floor joists or roof trusses. Excellent quality throughout and very easy to change bulb.
- this light is great we use it for working in attics and closets while installing alarm systems. puts out good light and last a long time.
- What can you say about a good, workable product except "Good & Workable."
Kudos to DeWalt for another good tool.

2 comments about Nikon Coolpix Soft Black Camera Carrying Case for L11, L12, L14, L15, L18, P60, S7c, S9, S50, S50c, S51, S51c, S200, S210, S500, S510, S520, S550, S600, S700 Digital Cameras.
- Even tough the packaging was equal es expensive as the item, this case is worth it. It is very handy and stylish like my nikon coolpix camera. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a Nikon Coolpix camera because it works just fine to me.
- This is a great case for Coolpix, less bulky than most cases that have too many clips and pockets, etc.
However I purchased it to house my P60 which is listed in the description,
it does not fit. You might be able to really cram it in there but that isn't a real option.
Cameta Camera was quick to ship and product arrived equally as quick, no complaints there.

4 comments about Hoover Windtunnel Power Self-Propelled Drive Belt.
- I love my Hoover Windtunnel Vacuum, but unfortunately, it eats belts on a regular basis. Being unable to find the parts locally, I searched Ebay and found United Vacuum. Their site was easy to navigate and find the parts that I needed. The parts were very cheap compared to other sites that I visited. I received the parts quickly and the belts fit great. I was up and running in about 5 minutes. Unfortunately, the replacement brush roll that I ordered had been damaged in shipping (thanks UPS). I was pretty busy that week, so I waited till the weekend to email their customer service. I figured that someone would reply in a few days. Boy was I wrong, a customer service representative called me in about 20 Minutes! This was on a Saturday! He let me know they were sending me a replacement brush roll immediately. Wow! If you need vacuum cleaner parts, buy them here. Don't waste your time and money anywhere else.
- very good item. strong and durable. grateful to have found this as they were nowhere to be found where I live.
- Replacement seems to be working fine after 2 weeks worth of use. Keep in mind after ownning this vaccum for less than 3 months the main belt needed replacement. I conducted complete inspection and found nothing wrong with vaccum.
- we burned through them all after a couple of uses--be sure they are the right size--one size does not fit all on the Hoover Windtunnels!

5 comments about MOBI Portable Rechargeable Light Blue.
- While I love the Moby light, the description under product features is misleading. This is NOT the light with the rechargable base. It has the cord in back -- the older version. I returned mine because I already have this model and wanted to upgrade and get the base. This model does not stay on very long when fully charged - 4 hours at best. The newer version allegedly stays on 10 hours. 4 stars for the light in general, Zero stars for the seller.
- We have been having trouble finding a light for our bedroom at night that would let me and my husband see while nursing and changing our daughter's diaper, but that didn't distract her and wake her up. The blue tykelight is the perfect solution. We liked the first one we got so much that we ordered a second one to keep by the changing table. The blue light doesn't disrupt REM sleep like other lights do.
- I was torn as to whether to give this 3 or 4 stars. I went with 4 because I do think it is a great concept and seems to work well. The only issues is that, although it has a "dim" setting, it is still quite bright. Maybe another color would be less intense.
Having said this, it works perfectly for the purpose for which I bought it. My 1-year-old has asthma, and when he is having difficulties I have to give him nebulizer treatments at night time that last about 10 minutes. I always try to keep the lights down so that he won't wake up during the treatment, but it is hard to make sure he is getting the medicine in the dark. So I bought this night light so that I can put it in his crib or hold it up next to the crib so I can see that he is getting the medicine. It works very well for these purposes.
My son likes to play with it in the morning when it is still dark and he is running round our room before I am ready to get out of bed. He seems quite amused by it and likes that he can turn it on and off on his own.
I do recommend this product, but do know that it will light up the whole room and is quite bright to look at directly.
- This is a wonderful, safe night light for my childs room. I charge it during the day in my kitchen so there are no cords in my childs room, and unplug it at night and set it in his room. It is nice not having to worry about my child getting hurt from typical night lights that have to be plugged into the wall. It is a little bright but otherwise well worth the price.
- My grandson loves to plug this in every morning so it's ready for bedtime. I only wish it were a little flexible and could withstand being dropped better. After only two weeks, he dropped it and now it will only stay on constantly until plugged in to recharge.

5 comments about Safer: Clothes Moth Alert.
- These moth traps really work. I had a serious infestation of clothes moths in my apartment when I took my grandmother wool coat out of my closet and released a bunch of moths accidentally. These few moths bred and then I had a moth problem. I didn't think I could get rid of them. You have to give the product some time to work. I set out 7 traps in my apartment. I saw moths being caught little by little over a period of a few weeks. I probably caught 60+ moths in these traps. I think I finally have my apartment back under control with the help of these traps and extensive vacuuming and cleaning.
- I was disappointed that the on-line advertisement did not indicate what the packaging does. I.e. this product is to tell you that you have a moth problem, does not and is not intended to eliminate moths. To me if you are ordering the product you already know you have a moth problem. I think the product could be useful to know if your moth problem returns after treatment, but after washing tons of loads of laundry and removing the cloths from the house altogether, I am going to be very certain to treat sufficiently that I don't have a re-occurrence. I am happy being green when possible and have pets, but I don't want to waste huge amounts of water and energy rewashing cloths. It does attract moths - that is the only reason for two stars and not one - my issue is the incorrect advertizing.
- I bought these because I have a moth problem. I have some of the professional traps already but thought I might try a more inexpensive route. I put this trap in a closet right next to the professional trap. The more expensive trap over the last two weeks has caught several more moths while this trap remains empty.
Save your money and invest in the more expensive traps. They are more money but they work.
- whoever wrote a bad review obviously isn't using these right. I have one trap with 31, yes thirty-one moths, and the other has 15 (fifteen) trapped inside. We have an air conditioner that isn't completely sealed in a window near one and I think it even attracted a few from outside and trapped them. So it captures the males no problem. But that's what you want to break the cycle in a cheap and effective way without poisoning yourself, the planet, your kids or your pets right? These work!
- I paid lots of money to have a service place these in my home. Unless you want to spray poison, it's the best way to get these moths.

5 comments about Mag Instrument AA Flashlight and Holster Combo Pack, Black #M2A01H.
- Everything but the holster ... well ... is plain great! I find the flashlights around my local area but they're not at this price. I simply took the holster and got rid of it. They rip and tear off quickly. In a pinch I guess they'd be ok to use one day but that's about all you'd get out it. I have a ballistic holster that I got on Amazon and it's a LOT better and will last for years.
- this is an excellent flashlight. it has good battery life and is extremely durable too. it is a perfect size for everyday use. but if you buy this flashlight you should buy the led upgrade. it isn"t as bright as the original bulb but it is almost as bright. this is a really durable flashlight as i said before. it has even survived being thrown up into the air and even being run over by a bike! so this flashlight is worth the money.
- I have several of these Mini MagLites. They're solid, well-made, great little flashlights, with extra features: beam focusing (just twist the head), spare bulb holder (inside the rear cap), and a candle mode (take the head off and it becomes a base for the barrel).
I've only had one fail, and that was my fault (I didn't check the batteries in one that was kept in a drawer and an expired battery leaked).
Why do I own several of these? Well, you've got to have one in each color, right? Seriously...
I keep one in the center console of my car. It's great for old eyes looking at a map or directions at night, when the dome light just isn't quite enough. It's also a help for a quick look under the hood, in the trunk, or under the seat. Of course, I keep a regular Mag-Lite in the trunk, too.
I keep one in my office desk in case of a power outage, or when the timed lights go off in the evening, or for digging around in the computer or copier.
I keep one by my home computer for those times when you have to go poking around inside.
I keep one in the headboard of my bed, again in case of a power outage. I learned my lesson in the 1994 Northridge earthquake; it was still dark and the power was out, and various and sundry things had fallen on the floor -- it's no fun walking around in the dark with bare feet when there's lots of stuff scattered about.
There are a couple of others (kitchen and garage), just to have around.
Just remember to check the batteries every few months, and when the bulb burns out and you use the spare in the rear cap, replace it before you forget (Mag Instrument LM2A001 Replacement Lamp for AA Mini MagLite, 2-Pack)!
- Yes, this is a good flashlight. The adjustable beam feature is great; but the incandescent lamp truly eats batteries. A LED lamp conversion kit is available for around $10. I recently had the opportunity to play around with the LED model and it far surpasses the older version.
- Bought as a Christmas gift for my nephew so I can't attest to the
performance, but I don't expect any problems. Good looking product.
I think he'll really like the holster.

5 comments about Porter-Cable US58 1/4-Inch to 5/8-Inch 22 Gauge C-Crown Upholstery Stapler.
- I just got this not more then a couple weeks ago (today being 11/1/07), so I don't have much to write. I have had good luck so far with this one. I read in another persons review that the only complaint they had was that it didn't come with it's own case. That would be a problem for sake of keeping dust out of the nipple and all. I resolved this by keeping it in its box for the time being. Since I like making things, I'm making a set of drawers for this and my other nail guns. I'll write more later if I come up with any complaints.
- Great tool at a reasonable price. I bought it because of the Porter Cable brand, and was not disappointed. Shoots various length staples, depending on your needs. Easy to set up, load and use. Compact nose allows use in narrow areas. Low air usage. No jams. Very satisfied.
- I couldn't do upholstery projects without this tool. It's light, small, and very simple to use. And the price is right.
- Nice handy tool to have around the house for certain projects. Have used it for carpeting stairs, doing a small hardwood floor job.
- I used the US58 to hang fabric in my HT room and had no problems with it. I had a hard time finding staples at my local HD, but Menards had them and cheaper than amazon. I have run about 10,000 staples through the gun with no problems. It did not come with a plastic case, not a big deal to me.

5 comments about Orbit Yard Watering Kit Valve.
- Been about a month now and no problems from this device. Works just fine. Only annoyance is in manual (water now) mode, you can water either one station or all of them, there is no option for subsets.
In programmed mode you can water any set of the four per "time". You get three of these "times", independent of each other, per 24 hour day.
Waters stations in a given "time" in series, not in parallel, so only one valve is open at a time. This is a Good Thing for us, but it doesn't seem to be changable if you want different behavior.
- It's a great idea but is built too poorly to be worth investing in. I bought the kit that includes timer, 4 way splitter and 2 valves. One of the two valves failed within 90 days; i disassembled it, there is nothing visibly broken, and the filter and washer are clean.
The second valve lasted almost a full year before it did the same thing - no broken parts or wires or anything, just stops working and emits a high-pitched whine as water struggles to go through a closed valve.
The rub here is, you get used to not having to water and don't realize the valve has failed until you notice your dead plants or hear the whine. That ticks me off; if I water daily, I know when I missed a day. If I let Orbit do the job it may cause a disaster when it decides to not work. Buyer Beware - as noted elsewhere, the quality is wildly inconsistent.
UPDATE AUGUST 2008: NOW the "brass" 4 way splitter has disintegrated, within 1 year. It isn't all brass - the neck isn't, it's some thin composite, it just wore away, and my spigot has a cover to protect it from rain and sun. As for valve, I'm a sucker; tried a second one now that Vigoro is distributing the brand. It failed within 10 days. I took it back to the store and took a hammer to the rest of the useless system, and went with a Melnor 2-valve timer. Much simpler operation and reliability so far.
- I originally bought an Orbit watering kit with a 4 channel controller, 4 way hose manifold and two valves at a local hardware store to water my front yard. It worked well, so I added another valve and eventually bought another kit for the back yard. A few years later the controllers are still chugging along (had to swap the batteries once, otherwise they just do their thing).
But these valves are flimsy plastic and tend to break around the brass connector that connects to the water supply. I've replaced 2 or 3 already and am back buying some more to restock my supply. It's still much cheaper than having underground sprinklers put in, but I wish these valves were $25 instead of $15 and better built.
- The controllers work flawlessly and are terrific for busy or absent minded people.
The valves are terrible! I would never trust one enough to go on vacation and expect them to turn off the water at the proper time or not to break and shoot water out of the fractured plastic valve. If they made a premium quality valve assembly I would gladly pay way more for one that was robust and reliable. It would be real nice if they had a brass valve/solenoid assembly that could be rebuilt with an inexpensive kit.
I just ordered another replacement valve but this is the last time.
- I have 2 full orbit systems on my home. One for the front yard, one for the back. This is my 3rd summer with them. The electronics seem to work fine, but programming them is a pain. The valves are the weak link. After sitting in the sun (attached to the brass 4 way) they dont close as good as they should, which creates howling water pipes. At first i thought my new house was haunted, but it was those darn valves. The silver lining? These bad boys have a 5 year warranty. Who gives warranties like that anymore? No one! This alone makes it a wise purchase. As the valves start to die, i call orbit and tell them of my problem. They ship me new ones. I actualy just bought 2 more new ones to have as spares. Know that they are gonna give out on you, but also know that Orbit IS there to back thier product.
