1. Great set for the handyman....I haven't used it extensively so can't say it is contractor grade. I use this with the excellent Hitachi DB3DL Drill/Driver which makes small projects a breeze. Much easier than pulling out my full sized cordless drill. This has all of the common drill bit and driver sizes.

5 comments about Blue Max GENWK4 Wheel Kit For 4,000 Watt Generator.

1. I applied the wheel kit to an ETQ 4000 watt generator. With a few slight mods to the frame it fit perfectly.



2. Doesn't fit well on my Blue Max 4000W generator. Motor mounts are in the way so the rear axle is offset, and it interferes with mounting the front feet. The threads on the front feet are painted and cross-threaded the bolt. I wish I had just bought a generator with the wheels pre-installed!



3. As stated in other reviews, the nuts and bolts are non-standard: not 13mm, not 1/2-inch, not 14mm, not 9/16-inch. That means using an adjustable wrench.
   
   In addition, the threaded portion of the u-bolts and rubber feet are heavily painted -- to the point that the nuts won't thread onto the bolts. I had to take acetone and a metal brush to remove the paint before the nuts would thread properly.
   
   Instructions? almost unintelligible gibberish with phrasing, punctuation, and preposition use that doesn't make sense.
   
   The pasts list does not correspond to the actual parts received.
   
   The axle of the wheels is longer than the width of the generator frame, so the wheels will wobble.
   
   The handle doesn't fasten tightly to the generator frame and slips, so the design is very, very, very poor.
   
   Summary: the wheel kit is crappy Chinese manufacture and design, but without it the generator is impossibly heavy to move.
   
   Amazon should really push back to the manufacturer about improving this product.



4. The wheel package was easy to install and wheels can come in handy, but the handle assembly is totally useless! There is no way to leverage the handle to simultaneously walk and pull the generator. You can only pull the end of the generator straight up with the handle, but then what? You cannot walk with it this way. The wheels are great but someone has to re-think the handle thing.



5. I am not sure why others are having a problem with this kit. Based on reading these reviews I expected very little. I was pleasantly surprised by the completeness of the kit and the ease of installation. It included everything I needed and went on the generator just as pictured. As I had been using the generator it was not as easy because I couldn't place it on its end but otherwise it was straightforward. Frankly given the weight of the generator I think they should have included the wheels in the main package but I guess that is how they keep the costs of the main unit down.

1. This is a nice set to have.It has a good combination of driver bits and drill bits. Nice case to through in the truck and have a little bit of everything.



2. This is a very useful item to have and it is a great value. Excellent quality.



3. This product has met all of my needs. It has what I need in one sinple bit case. I use this with my RAD attachment from Milwaukee when doing HVAC in close quaters. Most of my tools are Milwaukee because they last longer and are made for the long haul.



4. Very nice set, but as other reviewers have stated the drill bits are pretty weak. I have snapped 2 of them off using them in wood. I know that bits break, but this was just a little to soon and in soft material. If your going to buy this for the bits i would look elsewhere, but if your mainly going to use the tips its a great kit to have.



5. I have broken most of the drill bits. Often the first time the drill bit was used. The quik-lok will not release one of the driver bits making it useless.
   
   My hobby for the past eight years is woodworking. I try to buy the best tools I can afford so I do not have to replace then a year later. I have a number of other Milwaukee products and have been pleased with the performance and quality. However this bit set is junk.

1. I have been very unsatisfied with the company, FAIP (aka Power Washer) that manufactured this unit. I initially received the power washer on August 7th, it ran well for 20 minutes when the motor started smoking and I shut down the unit. I let the unit cool down then tried to start it again with no success. I contacted the company via their live on-line system (it's impossible to contact them by phone even when you get their number) and they paid to have it sent back for repairs. Since the unit was new I asked for a new unit instead of a repair. They refused and said the needed parts were on back order. I waited for nearly three weeks then received the supposedly repaired unit. It still did not work as the motor would not start. Instead of replacing it they sent me instructions for trouble shooting the unit. From this process they determined that I needed to replace the on/off button. Why wasn't this checked when they had it in for repairs?. I was told they would send a new switch to me with instructions for installation but said it would take another 8-10 business days for delivery. I am waiting patiently but seriously doubt now that the switch is the real or only problem. I will write a new review if it is or is not the solution.



2. Lesson learned. I failed to read all the reviews and ordered the unit. Used it once and when I tried to use it again, the pressure hose would not remain attached to the machine. It appears that the materials used in the hose threads is too soft and when I contacted the company, they said that I must have crossthreaded the hose attachment. Agreed to ship me another hose unit in 10-14 days but I am concerened that the replacement unit, with the soft metals used by the manufacturer, that it will crossthread again. I am really displeased with the unit and should have read the other reviews where others had similar problems. If the replacement hose crossthreads, I am returning for full refund. Why does a manufacturer continue to use the soft threading materials on their hose when the repeatedly have problems with crossthreading?



3. This was one of my best purchases on Amazon. This pressure washer kicks butt! It is very powerful and the price was betterthan you'll find anywhere. My husband really loves it and now he's looking for things to clean!



4. I have used my pressure washer 3 times so far and have had some problems. After reading a few reviews I was kind of scared. First thing happened the variable pressure wand got stuck on the low setting. A direct chat on the manufacturers web site helped me correct that. This last time when I hooked everything up and started the machine, no water was coming out at all. As if something was stuck inside the machine. I let it sit for an hour and she worked fine. I used it for more than 6 hours straight, and once the pressure is up it works great. The machine is tempermental and I am hoping it will continue working so well.



5. I expected a good power washer after reading all of the great reviews. I was not disappointed, it even exceeded my expectations. Great little power washer, very lite and very quite.

1. One couldn't ask for a more versetile bike lock. The extra security cable makes all of the difference in the world. When locking one's bike to something other than a standard bike rack; the extra security cable is most convenient.



2. OnGuard PitBull MINI DT 5008 Bicycle U-Lock and Extra Security Cable Best and easiest lock to use.



3. Nice U bolt lock and short cable for the money.
   
   Added lock graphite powder to the lock because the pin tumblers seemed dry.
   The key is keyed so it will only slide in one way, i.e it is not symmetrical. Used
   fingernail polish to mark one side of the key and marked the side of the
   lock near keyhole so I could tell how to insert it.



4. After careful research, I found this lock to be the best value -- strong and well-priced. I sent it to my son at college. After using it for a few days, he was unable to open it for a few days in a row, he said. Then one day he got it to work. He used it for a few days and then he could not open it when he stuck the key in again. It was just jambed shut. After about two weeks of trouble, he bought another lock. I am not sure if he just got a lemon or if there is an inherent problem with this lock.



5. This is a great lock for an excellent price, considering the extra cable comes along with it. I highly recommend it!

   much better than the other one it came with.
   its made much sturdier than original.
   Great price too.



2. I had been digging, locally, trying to find someplace I could buy one of these. My trimmer is perfectly serviceable, other than the fact that this cap was wearing out. Plenty of places wanted to sell me another trimmer, instead of simply selling me the part I needed.
   
   A couple weeks ago, I was using the trimmer and the original cap simply broke into about three pieces. It was no longer usable. I got serious in my search online for a replacement part. I was surprised to see that Amazon carried it.
   
   It arrived promptly and I put it to work. I fit perfectly, as I expected it should. The trimmer is, now, almost as good as new (need to get some new "string" for it; when it gets too old, it starts to stick together on the spool).
   
   Well worth the purchase. Can't really say if it is any more durable than the old one (it lasted multiple years), since I just got it.



3. This item was not available in my local hardware, home improvement, or mega-store. It was wonderful to find it through Amazon.com. I purchased five (5) so I would have replacements if needed. Delivery was prompt and the items were as advertised.

5. Replacement is better than original. Cap seems to be much "thicker". I did order two at the time but dont think the weed eater will out live the replacement cap this time. Or, always nice to have a back up.

1. Cons are nothing compared to the pros, but still listed them out bcoz this is not a wonder product and there shud be many choices out there and design of all them shud be failry similar.
   
   Pros: handy, quiet , easy to use, good looking piece, quality product
   Wiped off my car seat neat and clean in two if not just one sweep.
   very effective in kitchen and dining area, can pick up stuff which wud usally leave smears if cleaned in any other way
   easy clean filter, cud see fine grain dust also captured which is awesome considering the fact that this is no a heavy duty vacuum.
   you will get a apprx 3" extension hose and a bristle end also hooked up to the same body which come in real handy.
   
   cons: ok since it is naturally not that "all powerful" vacuum , it won't exactly suck off all stuff embedded in that lush carpet(car) of yours (using brush at the end might help at times ) .
   
   The adaptor is a little clumsy, with the bulk head at the socket end and a thin wire the actual holder, I wud have rather designed it the other way around(carry AC power all the way and put that bulky AC/DC converter with the holder body.
   
   The light indicator used to show charging status is on the back of the handle , and is small red led (a bad choice) , you really have to stoop on to it to see whether it is on , or the room has to be dim lit to see it clearly



2. I've only used this for three months. So far it's been excellent. I previously owned "dustbusters" and have been satisfied with their performance. Each newer model seems better than the one it replaces. I've read the other reviews, although not before purchasing this one. The suction of this one is FAR SUPERIOR to those I've previously owned. I use it mainly around the home to clean up small spills or my cars floor mats (rubber). Most of the complaints seem to be that it won't suck pet hair off a sofa or rug and only stays charged for only 10 minutes of use. I purchased mine to use on relatively minor clean up jobs and I'm very happy so far. For large jobs - pet hair, constant used for over 10 minutes and when greater suction is needed; I drag out my canister or upright vacuum. I'll try to update this review in about one year. Thank you.



3. This is my second DustBuster and it's better than the first. It has a nice filter and enough power for small jobs when you don't want to lug out the heavy vacuum.
   
   ONE WARNING: Sometimes it sold by Amazon.com with FREE shipping. Other times it's MORE expensive and shipping is not included. I love Amazon but wish they were more consistent.

1. Got these a couple months ago, they are installed in the trunk area of my Jeep that sees a lot of rough offroad terrain, even though they are made of plastic they are very durable and have yet to fail me. I have yet to even have the light fall out of the clips regardless of how rough the ride go. Good price and good quality.



2. I don't think the flashlight will EVER fall out of these brackets. They are quite tight...watch your fingers when "snapping" your flashlight in place as they have a very strong "snap-over-center" pull.



3. Very easy install and holds the MagLite very securely, have two mounted inside my Xterra.



4. Use these! Just when you need it the light is gone. Clip it and you will always know where it is.



5. I've had this mount holding my 3D Maglights at the ready behind my bedroom door and in the kitchen. I live in L.A., earthquake country. I mounted the holders into a stud and they've been holding my Mags at the ready for over five years. I remove them periodically to test and or use them. They lock in place very firmly. Mount the light lens down so dust won't collect on the lens. They don't slip out.

2. I had been searching for this filter, and could not find it. But then I found you. Thank you for stocking things we need. It fits perfectly, and is of good lquality.



3. In stock and arrived fast. Was difficult to find locally even at box stores!



4. Finally replaced the original filter that came with my 5 gal Shop Vac with this dry/wet cartridge filter and wondered why I waited so long to do it. I used my Shop Vac to vacuum the fur my German Shepards left behind in the garage and it use to smell like a dirty dog everytime I turned it on. Now, with the new catridge filter, no more bad smell and my Shop Vac operates at optimum efficiency.



5. Like most homeowners I do a variety of jobs around the house that require various tools. My wet/dry vac is one of the most important tools to me (or more importantly my wife) as it helps me clean up all the messes I make when doing these jobs. This filter does a great job when it is new as it keeps all the dirt/sawdust/leaves/etc I pick up with it in the container. However, after using it sporadically over a few months the filter gets clogged with all these various things, especially if there is any moisture. When I try and clean it out it works ok but not great as it just continues to get clogged. Overall it does what it is supposed to I just don't like replacing the filter every few months....
