  1. This is the best tool bag I've ever carried. The tools don't fall out,the bag sits upright, and it holds a lot of tools. I really like the hidden compartmented plastic box for small items like crimp connectors - sure is handy. I recommend this bag to any maintenance person.

  2. I have a similar model, pretty much exactly the same but without the tray. If I had known this existed, I would have bought that one instead. The model I own is the only one the local corporate supplier had. What a great bag! I'm an Apprentice Electrician, and this fits everything I need except a pole. Nice smaller pockets for my Flash Drive to hold digital versions of books, study guides, and my Apprentice Hour logs, without fear of being damaged. You can easily reach anything in this bag, except for large items like a composition book (for notes) in the center, because the handle is in the way. I wish you could remove the handle, as I always use the bag with a rolling cart or the shoulder strap instead.

  3. This is by far the best pouch I have ever purchased. Wore my first one out so purchased another plus two more for others who admired mine. Tired of tools around your waist or can't handle belted pouches anymore? Than this is the pouch for you. Can't beat the price or quality.

  4. This is a fantastic tool bag. Access your tools easily and it stands up straight when you put it down.

  5. This is a must have bag. I work in the H.V.A.C. field and this bag works GREAT for me.

5 comments about Streamlight 74001 Strion 5-1/2-Inch Flashlight 120-Volt AC/12-Volt DC, Black.
  1. I had Streamlight Scorpion.

expected same functionality for Tap button.
instead of "push slightly for momentary ON and further push for constant ON"
this model has "push for momentary one and ROTATE for constant ON."
this could be a personal preference thing but, i like the push and push further function better. and rotate for safety protect from accidental ON.

other than that, i love the light.

  2. Just got the STRION today. Love it! The perfect work tool.
I added a black shrink wrap sleeve to save my teeth, for those occational moments when I need both hands to work on something. I've been using the Scorpion untill now. I have 2 of them. Love em, but the battery replacement is OFTEN and EXPENSIVE. They are the back ups now. The Strion is just about the same size and light weight. I fly around the world and don't need a bigger flash light taking up space in my work box. The constant on switch is a twist, but you can still do it with one hand. So I dont mind it.
What can I say, its RECHARGABLE! It came with Both AC and DC cables and one spring loaded cradle. The cradle is an excellent design.
I choose the Super Saver shipping and it still got here in just 4 days.

  3. I finally received my new Strion flashlight from Amazon after having to e-mail customer service. The delivery was very slow for some reason. Nevertheless, the light comes with both AC and DC cords and one base. I wasn't sure what would come with it. I got it for 65 and I see now it's gone up slightly.
A co-worker showed up to work one day with one and I knew then I had to get one. I have had two Stingers and I'm a big fan of them. If this Strion is anything like the Stingers I'm sure it will be my favorite. It is very small and lightweight. I'd definitely recommend it, especially to those in uniform wanting a smaller light on their belt.
    Stay safe out there!

  4. I ordered #74001 but I got ST74000.
    It is not my order.
Also there is no charger with the product.
    This is rechargeable flash light.
It is nonsense without special charger for that.
I already emailed twice to the contact info which amazon gave me to check my order.
2 weeks passed but no answer.
I will try to write 3rd email from now.
    who can help me?

  5. The light isn't as comfortable as a Surefire light but the recharge saves me a lot of money. Its very bright for its size and easy to carry. I've had several good comments from co-workers and bystanders on this little light.

5 comments about Bosch JA1003 Circular and Parallel Cutting Guide for Bosch Jig Saws.
  1. I ignored the previous reviews and ordered this anyway. What a mistake. I didn't pay much for it, but whatever I did pay was a waste! The plastic broke within seconds (literally) of opening the package. I haven't even used it yet. If you have a few extra dollars lying around, they would be better utilized by giving them to a panhandler than buying this "product". It isn't even worth returning- do your self a favor and skip this one.

  2. Found it to work as advertized. I really have nothing to compare it too but Iam satisfied with it for now

  3. After using this the first time I knew this is what I needed to aid in perfect edge guiding & cutting perfect circles. Easy to attach but the clamp & setscrew to set the distance is of plastic and it easily falls off the guide when guide is removed from saw. I would rather have a set screw that sets right on the saw itself. I would reccommend this attachment as an asset to the great jigsaw that my Bosch 1590EVS is.

  4. For some reason, package of the cutting guide does not show how to use it. It is shown in the Bosch jigsaw manual. The guide works very well both for parallel cutting and circular cutting. As other reviewers pointed out, the scale could be better. The engraving is hard to see and is only in metric.(Amazon does not allow me to change the star rating but I would like to subtract one star for the poor quality of the scale).

  5. Was going to get it since it is Bosch's product. Glad that I read the reviews. I rather spend more to get things "Made in USA" or Germany than bring home useless junk "Made in China".

2 comments about DEWALT DC725KA Heavy-Duty Cordless 18 Volt Compact Hammer Drill/Driver.
  1. I had been buying some things by Amazon, and this is my best shopping.
It good that this product has other battery because when anyone is working continue for long time, people doesnt need to stop their work and continue after. All caracteristics that describe in the page its true, add, this drill is compact, perfect caracteristic when you need to work in hard positions.

  2. I own lots of De Walt tools, but I have noticed a serious drop in their ability to produce a durable cordless drill recently. There is no doubt that De Walt have bright ideas, and their products, on paper, are very impressive, and push the boundaries of what you expect a tool can do for you. I realy like their cordless nailers (I have two!) However, this drill has some serious design flaws.

Be aware that the front torque selector, spindle, gearbox and a weighty Jacobs keyless chuck (I do like Jacobs chucks) are held inside the clamshell by...by... a plastic location ring groove in the clamshell body, that ring grips the gearbox, and which measures no more than 1/16th or 2mm in indent depth. Consequently, let your tool heat up, or use it under torquey conditions and guess what? The entire front housing loosens up. On my drill I can get the chuck housing to move an 1/8th or more (depending on how hot the plastic is) in any direction, yet the clamshell is gripped firmly and doesn't move at all! Other than this inadequet plastic groove the frameless motor had location cut outs in its magnet body to try and stabilise the front end, but since the motor is only held in place by the pressure of the screwbolts holding the clamshell shut this feature is limited in what it can achieve. Maybe i've just got a dudd, but i doubt that this drill issufficiently well engineered for the trade/contractor market, which is a shame. Let's hope De Walt realise and redesign this into a really decent bit of kit that can rival the Japanese blue tools that I will be using from now on for cordless drills.

  1. This Klein stripper is the best stripper I have ever used. Fits well into your hands and has a good stripping action.

  2. Look no further for a quality wire stripper. These are SHARP!, strip a variety of wires with little effort and best of all, the curved handle makes them a joy to use as it eliminates hand fatigue. Go to a store and hold a set in your hands and you will now what I mean. I love it when I have an opportunity to use these!!

5 comments about Bosch 1294VSK 2.3 Amp Corner Detail Sander Kit includes Sanding Sheet and Backing Pad Assortment.
  1. It was rather easy to use but the sand paper did not last very long.. Over all, I would rate this tool a 3 on your scale of 5.

  2. I bought this sander to use on metal: bronze, copper, silver. I really like it. It works well and feels solidly built. I have never used the extension pads, but they look like they may be useful someday.

  3. This is a sander that does exactly what it promises to do. It can remove stock at an astonishing rate and reach places that even Heineken can't. I don't know how I would have done some of the refinishing work I have done without it and I probably use it more than I should given the comment below.

The attachments that come with it are critical to its versatility and I use all of them. But, be aware that you have to take good care of them. If you destroy the surface of them so the paper will no longer adhere, replacing them is so expensive you might as well buy another saw. The saw is so good and so powerful, that would be a real waste. My attachments are, unfortunately, in pretty bad shape (I found out too late)but the sander is so great that I will just have to bite the bullet and buy another complete kit since I don't want to try to live without it.

  4. I'm a professional cabinet maker and I put a lot of hours on the Bosch sander trough out the week. It is a great sander for getting into corners and detail work. This is my second one. My first one lasted about ten years and then stopped. I immediately got a new one. The new one is more powerful , quieter and smoother running.

  5. This corner detail sander is one of the best tool purchases that I have made. I used to use my hand to sand the corners, and I always felt pain in my finger tips after sanding. With the user of this corner detail sander, I don't have that problem any more. Moreover, I can sand faster and with less effort using this sander than using my hand to sand.

This tool can kick up some dusts if you don't connect it to a shop vac. I am not talking about a lot of dusts -- much much less dusts than those coming from a circular saw or an angle-grinder. Still, connecting it to a shop vac will keep the dusts in the air to the minimum. I use Bosch VAC001 15-ft friction fit hose to connect it to a shop vac, and they work fine together.

We can turn the triangle-shaped sanding pad around. Then we can use all three corners of the triangle-shaped sand paper. This is a necessary feature because most of the wears are at the corner of the sand paper.

Please note that although this sander is relatively low profile, its handle is long. This means you may not be able to use it in very tight space (as in a small shoe rack). In that case, you may want to sand the surface before you assemble the pieces together; then you don't have any corner to sand.

The only downside is that you probably cannot find the right kind of sand papers in your local stores if you finish using the sand papers that come with the kit. Therefore, you may want to order sand paper in advance.

5 comments about FAIP Powerwasher 1/4-Inch by 25-Foot Universal Extension Hose for Pressure Washers #80011.
  1. This is a pretty cheap product for the price. However, it tended to kink and coil wrong, and at the end fo the day, I felt more like just picking up my unit and moving it around versus dealing with this extension. Much less useful than I would have anticipated.

  2. I purchased this to go with my FAIP powerwasher. It's a lot of length, so it's bulky on the unit (I never take it off, as far as I'm concerned, it's now a permanent part of the unit). But I just stand the powerwasher up and walk all around to clean gutters or patio furniture. Eventually, just like extension cords, it'll kink. But I've used it for 4 summers and haven't had a problem yet.

  3. I bought the hose along with the pressure washer and the hose doesn't fit the unit. The manufacturer says they're not compatible. I asked why it's listed on Amazon as "buy together" when I bought my pressure washer. The manufacturer says Amazon did that and they never claimed it would fit. They said they would "allow" me to return the item but I had to pay shipping both ways. Let's see, a $14 item that they already gacked me $9.00 to ship to me and then they want to stick me again for another $9.00 to return it. I think I'll list it for sale on Craigs List.

    Face it, They Hosed Me.

  4. This pressure washer extension hose was recommended to be bought with the pressure washer I purchased. However, it does not work with my pressure washer without an additional part I had to purchase. Hopefully when the part arrives I will be able to use the extension. I feel taken advantage of by Amazon.com for recommending this extension.

  5. I bought this extension cable to go along with my FAIP PWS1600 powerwasher and it works perfectly. It comes with a brass "barrel" connector that attaches the extension cable to your existing cable. I can leave the powerwasher stationary and cover a lot of ground with all of the cable length I have as I intend to occassionally get up on the roof of my one story ranch and do some low pressure cleaning.
It comes coiled up so you will have to "break it in" by laying it out and unravelling it, but after a few hours of work the first day it was flat and unwieldy.
There may be less expensive cables out there but this one works fine. It mates perfectly with my "FAIP Powerwasher" brand, but you might need additional adapters if you have a different make of pressure washer. All in all for me this was an excellent purchase.

4 comments about Fiskars Big Grip Trowel #7073.
  1. Finally a durable garden trowel for working the hard clay in my garden. I have bent/broken any number of trowels working the garden. This trowel is up to the task of being a work horse in the garden - sturdy and dependable - and easy to grip.

  2. I've had my share of trowels over the years, and my main complaint was that they were basically all too small. Sometimes you just need a bigger shovel, to either dig wider or deeper, and the 'regular' ones just don't cut it. Enter Fiskars Big Grip. I saw this in Target and grabbed it immediately; I knew it was simply something I had to have, being a hard core gardener. I haven't had a job that this has been too small for yet, always planting and moving plants. It wouldn't be too handy if needing to move or plant something large, when a full size shovel is necessary, but every gardening tool set needs this trowel. Well made & sturdy, definitely one of my best gardening supply purchases...

  3. Nice, heavy duty, & very handy tool. We use it a lot. This one won't bend or break. Probably the last one you will ever need to buy.

  4. Was very disappointed to see that the tag said "CA toxic warning...this product can cause cancer". WHAT??? So I called Fiskars and they said that they no longer have to put that warning on their labels, that everything is fine, and that Amazon must have old stock. I still am not happy about this as it was to be a stocking stuffer for my gardening daughter. I'd say....buy this at your own risk, regardless of what Fiskar's says. As far as the size ..... yes, it's probably a better, more useful tool than most.
